Posted 14 years agoBlast it. The stress of class the week before finals week always gets to me. I'm having this sort of scootaloo crisis. I long to do something epic in the brony verse, and I know I "CAN" do something truely epic, I'm just having trouble realizing "what" I can/could do. I guess right now, I'd be a blank flank O.o :3
Also, writing a paper. Points for who ever knows without wiki who my topic is on. He's German and his last name is "Lang".

Posted 14 years agoToday's one of those days that the world fights me in awkward comical fashions. These kinds of days happen once maybe every 3-8 months. They aren't "bad" days, they aren't "good" days, just strange and counter productive. For instance, I slept 12 hours, and missed class yesterday due to insomnia over the weekend and then sheer exhaustion. Wake up at 5am today and is hungry. I groggily make some quick Mac'n'cheese (i'm not generally a breakfast food person....just doesn't fill me up enough...I like it on occasion, just not today). I'm eating said mac'n'cheese....and I start feeling odd. I keep eating and looking over the internet, check bank balances, and such. I feel nauseous ....crap. I go back to my food station, lord and behold, milk expired yesterday *facepalm* So, I ditch the rest of the mac'n'cheese, and now we play the waiting game...

Posted 14 years agoSo I sent in my headphones for warrenty.... I bought some new cheap headphones....
Turns out, I made an onversight. It's not the headphones that crapped out, apparently. It's the headphone jack on my ipod that's dead. o.o Even worse, I don't have warrenty any more on my ipod since they told me that once it expired, it's expired and there isn't a way to renew it...and it expired a couple years ago. A new Ipod that is compariable is around $300 now. fucking aye.
Oh well, I'll just be without music.... lol.

Posted 14 years agoI'm almost ready to ramp up and start producing DVD's again. I got a few things I have to do first, and when a suit comes in it will get better, when ever that happens to be.
I've been holding off on my game review blog. There's a couple games I want to review, but the words are not coming to me just yet. They will in time.

Posted 14 years agoSo my headphones broke :/ The awesome pink fuzzy D.J. pair that i've loved for the past 2-3 years :/
Sent them in to skullcandy, and luckally they will get me a new pair.... problem is... it takes 4 weeks to process once they get the broken pair in o.o bleh...so here's 6-8 weeks without ipod music :/

Posted 14 years agoWell good by internet, good by TV. I just got my PC working, and now because cable company says I owe them $200 that I didn't immediately a couple days ago, my service gets shut off today. Which means there's 2 places I can see internet: my cell phone, and school. Which means my access to FA and everything else is extremely limited. So good bye internet, see ya when I see yas.

So, I think I'll take the time off the net to sort of "re-invent" myself. Nothing really meta about it, just "I should do sit-ups instead of watch TV and look at porn" sort of mentality. I've always wanted to do 2 things, spin records and dance and be bad ass at both. For the latter, I simply need more strength and less belly pooch. For the former, I need tables and speakers. well, I have neither of those, but I do have a computer. SO I downloaded a DJ program to teach myself about matching bpms via sound and "feel" as well as get a feel for what a console box does to manipulate sound and such. Basically like reading a book about it, just more interactive.
I also plan on making pants. Yes pants. I have nearly all the material to sew together DJ Pon 3 inspired pants, I have plans, lay out. I'm only missing 6 things. 4 metal claps, the ones in the shape of a question mark, clip things, and 2 embroidered double 8th note symbols...size to be determined when the back pockets are sized out.
If it goes according to plan, these pants are awesome. I was originally going to see how well I did on these pants, then maybe market pants inspired by the mane 6....but materials were more expensive than I thought (bought them weeks ago when I had pay check o.o), so to make a viable earnings off of sold pants, I'd have to sell them at $160-$200 X.X which isn't really a good deal on a pair of kick ass pants.... (however, selling 1 pair would solve my internet problem, go figure.) If I make them, I'll use a friend's computer to show my DJ Pon-3 pants...I'm sure they are going to be pretty bitchen raver pants.

My Frankenstein monster pc LIVES!!!!!!!!!!
funny thing is, the ONLY thing wrong with it, was the heat sync.
$35 later, and boosh, back and fully operational!
It will take me a little time to re-acclimate myself to start production again, but yes: I have the tech....now I just need to get the suit :/ But hopefully my DVD software isn't corrupted, lol.
now......where can I find some neck bolts....

I might be able to enroll in school for the fall,
I should have a working computer heading my way,
I should be bumming some furniture from family and friends,
I have a job...that might pay...1 or 2 paychecks until the economy tanks in August, thank you D-bag republican house for (quite possibly at this point) sinking U.S. middle class, not to mention the rest of the country, into a 2nd depression, good job.
Everything is looking up, for once.

As many of you know, I've been sucked into the brony phenomenon.
Within this, I came upon this video, a reminder of the amazing commercial for the Discovery channel: http://youtu.be/ugtjMRVFvK0
So, I'm thinking, to christen my upcoming working PC, I thought to myself "Why not try to do a fursuit/furry fandom compilation meme video?"
So, if you have a webcam,
or a digital video cam,
or a kinect with a way to record video and save the file,
or a ps3 or wii cam that can record video and save file,
or a microphone and a basic sound recorder program,
What I want is simple. Very very simple:
2 separate clips, a few seconds each.
Clip 1: Say or sing the words "I love the ____". Fill the blank with something (1 thing) about the furry fandom that you love! Think about specifics though. I don't want a bunch of clips saying "I love the community" that's just boring. Rather say what about the community you like specifically. You can say it. You can sing it. Do what you like with it! Lets be creative!
Clip 2: Even easier than the first one, record your self singing/saying "Boom de yada, Boom de yada, Boom de yada, Boom de yada"
Simple as that. I'll work my editing magic and take all the clips gluing them all together. Really, take this as a chance to tell the world why furries are so great. If you have a short silly gimmick, like a drum, or a little jig or something, feel free to whip those out! Tell a friend. Record with a friend. The more clips I get the better this project. I'll post things about it periodically and such.

An Idea...of sorts...
Posted 14 years agoSo some real life news. I'm once again going on the job hunt....I'm really sick of the people I work with..since all the cool older people quit, and all that is left are the imposible to please managers....
Get this: They call me to come in on my day off to work because a bunch of people didn't show up. From the moment I get there they take the time to yell at me for just bull shit all the way till I get home 4 hours later.
What had happened: Some whiny looser had complained online at the fast food joint was rude and slow and he wouldn't spend money there any more Q.Q, when really, none of that had happened, he was probably just a rude jerk not realizing the the person before him had ordered a shit ton of food and only 2 people working. But apparently now all the managers have to be assholes, hurray. It's just creating this bad work environment and all the employees are walking out. Go figure. If they payed us better, maybe, or at least give us 1 free meal for x hours worked. They even removed the employee benefit of 1/2 price on food claiming that "food costs are too high this month". News flash from NPR, food costs on ALL food are increasing alarmingly, and will keep increasing. So food costs will never drop!
So yes, I'm looking for work. Thinking on that, I've sorta have been wanting to do something for quite a long time... but due to the fact that I'm just 1 person with incredibly limited funding and not the knowledge or hardware I need to pull it off, It has never gotten anywhere near off the ground past the "You know what would be cool?" phase of ideas.
Here was my Idea, because Lord knows I can't do it, so why not post it on the internet and see what happens.
I wanted to make a fursuit porn paysite.
The website itself would have an interesting duality to it: A free membership side and a pay-for membership side.
Free Side:
Sample content (of course. Have to wet your appetite to buy in.)
User submitted content (also have something like, if we like what you've done, you can "win" membership every so often kind of deal.)
User Profiles
Upload features and database
Administrated Forums and Advertising spots for other furry junk.
Pay Side:
If I had my way, Membership fee would be roughly $14-15/month-2months...I'm big into making furries decide between World of Warcraft and wonderful wonderful porn.
Live Fursuit Web-cam play. You can sit on your computer and give commands to a live fursuiter, that you get all to your self :3
Model Fursuit Profiles
Live Action fursuit yiff flash games (oh yes, I'm planning on making one of these when I get my adult suit again...and a computer...)
Fursuit Vid of the Week (a sort of "highlight" for a particular model)
Softly or Roughly? (it's "Hot or Not", but you browse fursuit pictures and decide if you would yiff them Softly or Roughly and poll positions would be posted :3)
Model Applications for those that want to share (service = citizenship!)
Once it starts shelling out monies on pay side:
Interactive studio tours for those fursuits who go the "extra mile" in production
I would have my own section to do stuff with of course
Professional quality pictures and videos in High Definition cameras
Possible filmed in 3D fursuit yiff videos.
Models will have their own custom fursuits made only by top-line fursuit makers...
A search and browse function that has filtering to limit fursuit yiff by: solo suit, multiple suits, suit and human, male/male, male/female, duals, 3-somes, 4-somes, orgy's, and all sorts of cross filter action *bow chicka wow wow*
AND THE BEST PART:
No major focus on giant cut holes in the crotch
No oversized Mascots (unless to parody the character's sexual act in a tasteful manner. I.E. If your going to be Barney the Dinosaur yiffing Yoshi, you gotta look damn good. no cheep knockoff or bootleg.)
No cheeply made factory mass production suits
In the future, if big enough, I'd also push for a 18 or 21 and over Furry Convention... I mean, IML, and contra, and other cons can be "adult only" why can't there be an adult furry con?
So yeah, there'd my idea, just boiled down....and leaving out a lot of the design aspect. What do you furs think?

Posted 14 years agoOk... So I've done my best and made a video....
The lighting sucks because I tried to use the morning sun. On my camera, it seemed fine...but this piece of shit laptop (I'm frustrated...so angry voice here) that barely runs flash, made it very very very dark.
I finally edit it enough to it's mostly visible parts....
I can't upload it.
Reasons:
A) This Laptop can not keep a stable internet connection to save it's life.
B) The data transmit rate of this laptop is..well.. null at best.
C) A 50mb video might as well be 1012390874102938471290Tb's at this rate
D) The router Is my roommate's boyfriend's because mine died...and his ticks on and offline at will...which is to say, every 5min. I've tried connecting straight in, see reason "A"
E) Yelling at the screen doesn't make it go faster
F) Xtube and other upload websites tend to "refresh" in the middle of uploading because it's taking so damn long.
G) *sigh* I need either a new computer, or by some miracle, fix my dead one.
So yes...there's that.

The fur who I was planning on moving in with suddenly bailed on me via text message today... I'm not quite sure how to reply to him at this point yet... But, yeah... I have to scramble to find a place to live in August, hurray.
Ok, now good news:
I think... I might be able to salvage my pc. My frankenstein machine... I just was able to cut off the vistigial tumor the cpu socketed fan had become...and Now I just have to replace it. I need either a ASUS Silent Square Pro or a ASUS Silent Square Evo, which is around $20-$60. I need 2 new graphics cards...
My slots fit 2X nVidia GeForce 8800 GT 512MB DDR3 625MHz 's ... so what ever...slot stick set up that is... (I've got an Asus Formula II crosshair board)
Bad News: I can't afford any parts at the moment.
Good News: I'm going to be at anthrocon, I might be featuring a new suit to help out a good friend of mine with his business in making suits....if it gets done in time.... more to come on that topic, I'm sure.
More Good News: I'm STILL open for commissions. I do draw practically anything. Every pic gets me closer to buying things like food at anthrocon...
and that's about it right now.
