hydrocodone's a hell of a drug
Posted 13 years agoSo recovery is going as expected. Should be better by next week. Drugs have me all loopy.
So I'm sort of writing a meta journal under the influence of pain killers on a personality flaw I've noticed over the past few years. Much like wild horses (ironic that I'm stating into pony play) I have a tendency to "spook". That is, to freak out and run away for no reason what so ever.
It comes from this odd thing I perforce with vibes and flow.b I'm good at feeling vibes of things. But everyonce and a while, something will send a strange vibe and ill abandon ship. I can't really explain it...well, I probably can... Just not under heavy medication.
Come tothink about it, I guess it would be quite acceptable to grab my reigns and calm me down like you would a reap horse.
Oh, and I want to get a full pony hood (looks like a full horse muzzle, shows no skin) and mlp style pony gear.

ups and downs of this week...
Posted 13 years agoSo... Yeah. 3pm Monday I had what I thought was food poisoning. 10pm, unable to sleep due to the pain, lasting far too long to be food poisoning. I head to the ER for clarification on food poisoning.
ER draws blood and orders CTscan. Turns out it was appendicitus. Good thing I came in when I did as the appendix hadn't burst or gangreened yet. I get prepped for surgery at 8am.
The appenctomy surgery went smoothly, no complications. Now I'm at my parrent's house recovering with limited internet access.
I'm fine now... Just lots of pain and pain killers...
The good news: most of my mail packages are in or shipping. Suit, sheath boxers, and 2 plushies I've wanted forever but are super rare and hard to find...but I did and reasonably priced too.... Now just need to find someone who can mod one, hehe.
Oh... And pain killers, WHEEEEEE!

Posted 13 years agoSo as a few of you know, I play a bit of league of legends. It's a pretty decent champion based rts that's all free to play.

It's got a lot of competition and a great following. So I've been enjoying myself.
Here's the update: They have just changed the referral program to a little more reasonable with how it figures points and rewards.
It used to be, to get rewards, you'd have to invite 100's upon 1000's of friends (with rewards starting at your first 5k). It was a little daunting lol.
Now, all of the rewards that used to be unobtainable are within the first 50 friends. Still a bit heavy, but better than 5,000 lol.
If you wanna try league of legends and find out what it's all about, I'd be happy to add you to my friend's list and play with you ^.^ My handle in that game is "Furry of Doom".
If you like it and get to level 10 the process for recruiting becomes complete and my number of recruited peoples ticks up more on the forums :3 as well as other "you've got friends rewards".
It's a great game AND IT'S FREE (as well as been around for, what 3 years now?). Should try it out ^.^

An observation
Posted 13 years agoSo a T.V. commercial for the new Ice Age: Continental Drift movie. I've never really been a fan of the Ice Age characters....a large part to the ever non-funny ray romano.
Though I saw something that made me facepalm. The first time I saw the commercial it wizzed by me, but the 2nd time, as commercials are forever on repeat, bam it hit me in the eyeballs and thus my hand moved to it's resting location on my forehead.
On one hand, I'm glad that my prehistoric kangaroo species is in the film... I just wish he wasn't so damn fugly... It's cool that he's a pirate... but he's so damn fugly.... yay...fugly... :/

I'm a little...anti-social media. I'm rarely on facebook, I'm barely on twitter. I'm not logged in often on chat programs (the less of which is skype...I hate skype so very, very much).
But there's some common "Fuzzyroo rules of media"!
I'm never invisible. If I'm online, it says so.
If I don't reply for more than 10min, I walked away from the pc and will reply when I get back.

Posted 13 years agoSo this week's been pretty bad...ish. Not horrible, could be a lot worse, but enough to damper the mood.
Jobs here in Lawrence Kansas are pitiful at best. It's a college town where being a student is employment suicide.
So I keep putting in applications and employers laugh before putting in a waste basket. "You want to work part time? Not full time for 2+ years at Kwik shop? You think your degree is better than fry cook at McD's?" yeah, it's that crap. Awesome.
Also, had a crap brain moment :/ went to the grocery store with my sunglasses. put them in the cart, shopped. Left them in the cart on accident. Got to the exit door-way after I put the cart up. "oh shit!" moment, went back for my abandoned sunglasses, nay 30ft away and they were already gone. Swiped. It's not like they were expensive. They were free, but they were my only pair... I usually don't wear sunglasses due to my Rx glasses.... But what ever. They are gone now, general dishonest humanity sucks, nothing I can do. Hurray.
I'm not at AC... first year since 2006 that I'm not there. It feels kind of odd, but I'm going to shoot for next year. By then I'll have my awesome suit in and it will be nothing but epicness.
Also going to try hard to make MFF... I'm sort of waiting on job and money and such to swing that way before I can think of registration or finding a room or anything, but I'm going to try.
So feeling a little bit down so I did something a little bit..."petty"...maybe? "shallow" might be a better word? I don't know, it's probably neither but *shrugs* too bad, I did it regardless of the describer definition of the action. I took 9 commissions and 1 original from and of my gallery and uploaded them to e621.net. I got tired of their only being 4 fuzzyroo pics on that site so THERE! Take 10 more pictures! EAT IT! Or fap/clop which ever.
Um....I guess all that's left to talk about is websites.

I think during this "open" time I'm going to open back up for commissions.
I'm accepting very few, actually. I think about 4 regular spots and for experimental spots.
As these spots fill, I'll post a journal with the standing progress listings.
First off, regular commission info. I draw whatever. Literally, I don't care. Super porn, vanilla ice cream, it doesn't matter. I have pencils and paper, tell me to do it. You want a banana? I got a banana. You want big floppy donkies, I got big floppy donkies. Literally anything, no limits.
As a side note, like many side notes: I am respectful as always. What this means is, say you want something crazy. Buuuuut you don't want anyone to know what it is or see it. That's cool too. 1) I need to find a payment processor that allows payments for adult themed things. Like DVD's, movies and videos. I just don't understand the super stick up the butt ones, it seems like they are turning away from large sums of money from the adult industry.
2)I need to find a crowdfunding source for things like lights, backdrops, cameras, gear, and other film things for the awesome porn project I have in mind. www.offbeatr.com seemed ok....but it's not technically "here" yet. And I can't tell if it's a scam. Oh well.
3) need to find a way to get paid for doing porn....
And that's what's on my mind today.

Things on my "to do": Write proposal article for national college magazine about film, fans, and it's effects on culture.
Continue my video game review blog.
Once out of college, get money for basic DJ gear and learn how to spin and scratch effectively. Once accomplished, then maybe evolve with tech.
Continue working with Maya and Unity (I might post a model here on FA...I don't know... I'm not super epic at it yet.)
Figure out what to do once I graduate.
Look for Digital Content Designer internships/jobs
Destroy the 2D monster invasion of 2014
Make a Pandaren Monk
Re-design my character's name (still not satisfied. Lucus V. Rocket seems too....bulky and cumbersome).
Figure out what I do "well" on youtube. (so far I thought my music video was pretty swank).
Draw more in other venues, not just my notes.
MOVE out of Kansas. I.E. GET THE FUCK OUT OF DODGE! (well, lawrence...but anywhere in Kansas pretty much bites.)

Finish writing the most epic porn parody script of all time. (70's style...now gotta find some one who owns and adult fursuit with platform pimp shoes...)
Get enough money to get a nice sizeable place (1 or 2 bedroom, not just a cramped stuido...unless it's a warehouse loft with a maintenance elevator :3)
Plan graduation weirdness.... Maybe EL wire..but it'll be day time....hmmmm...gotta think.
Find season one of the Community, seen latest episodes, that shit's bad ass....though Abed keeps reminding me of myself... :/
At some point I'm going to have to buy a car too...hmms.
Need to also set up some sort of make shift filming studio for a few vids too... as well as find actors/fursuiters/couples for free, cause I'd like to direct at some point too.

My adult suit is closer than it has ever been to completion, which is exciting as everything starts to come together just so. Be on the lookout for that in the next few months ^.^

Photographic work must be suitable for all ages and submissions must be correctly rated as General. Photos involving mature or adult situations, gore, or illicit activity are not allowed. This includes (but is not limited to) images containing nudity, sexually suggestive situations, sex toys, explicit fetish gear/clothing (items used solely for sexual purposes, or in an explicitly adult context), sexually modified fursuits or plushies (where modifications are visible or obvious), gore, wounds, death, and illegal activity (e.g. vandalism, drugs). Uploading adult or pornographic photography may result in an automatic suspension.
I'm really not sure what specific image it's referring to. I'm quite sure everything on my site fits the AUP policy blah blah blah, unless they changed it to no submissions are allowed at all.... Really wish there was more information about what was removed, that would be helpful.
So yeah. I'm confused. Anyone able to point out the exact image? point or circle what was wrong in it? Or is it now a matter of subjective taste? I've got no clue.

Slightly more clarification:
So apparently the "new" AUP now has something about "Fetish gear".... oh boy, that's specific.
So here's my reply to the clarification:
wait wait wait. "fetish gear", seriously? You do realize that a fetish obsession in higher order mammals, such as humans, apes, dolphins, and the like, can and usually does consist of EVERYTHING, right. "Fetish Gear" are shoes, pants, underwear, pajamas, shirts, hats, desks, chairs, couches, fast food, pizzas, I could go on and on and on labeling all the nouns, as since they are nouns, they are fetish gear as people tend to have fetish fixations on just about everything under the sun. And yes, the sun itself is included in that.
So I'm still confused on what "pertains to fetish gear" and what "does not pertain to fetish gear". You might as well ban all images of fursuits and drawings of furries as those are often seen and can be used as fetish gear. And thus my confusion persists.
I would understand if it was an image of some one nude with their bosoms and penis hanging out in a lewd fashion wrapped up in nothing but a thong. But without it being used in a fetish sexual manor, what we have here is a costume mask.

So here's the end result. The picture was banned because of it's image rating and description: NOT because of what the picture contained. So the lesson of the event is: Don't write descriptions, and always mark your images as general.

Posted 14 years agoWow. Since school's let out, there really hasn't been much to do, other than wait for school to start again. There's no realy worth-while employment (as with most jobs, first paycheck would be around when the semester started, and I'd have to quit the 5.45/hr job then. Places are not hiring part time students. They want full time super experienced, and fuck them, school's more important than their petty fast food management jobs. Not that, if you have said job, it's a bad thing, it just not well suited for a full time student.)
But yeah, i've been sleeping. And well, i'm awake! For once. The long semester of 2-4 hours of sleep now breaking way to 9-17hrs, and man do I feel better. My productivity is still really low, but I'm sure that will work out with caffeine.
I'm currently writing out my newest review. No, it's not Skyrim. I'm going to review that game when I feel I can give it what it desrvers....all of the awesome. Just all of it.
No, I'm reviewing my beta experience with Starwars Old Republic. in brief. It's really niche. if you fit the niche, great you'll love it. If ya don't....don't really bother...
But yeah, i've been sleeping. And well, i'm awake! For once. The long semester of 2-4 hours of sleep now breaking way to 9-17hrs, and man do I feel better. My productivity is still really low, but I'm sure that will work out with caffeine.

Christmas card delima
Posted 14 years agoSo my finals are over. Thank goodness and 'bout time. 2 classes have grades reported already. My toughest one, I got a "C" which, I think, is a very good grade for that class. It literally was "the professor talks about very confusing tangents that have nothing to do with said class, then puts the random ass tangents on the final and midterm, enjoy."
My 2nd toughest class of the semester I aced it, boosh. I'm expecting another "A" and an A or B in my last class. Not a bad semester over all.
Ok, on to business. I just slept 12hrs (staying up for 2 days studying and doing finals then crashing out when I got home), and I just got up and grabbed my mail.
Turns out, some fur some where (I know that much cause it was addressed to "the fuzzyroo" hehe, made me smile) sent me a x-mass card. Was really sweet and all....buuuuuuuuut there's no signature. Nor is there a return address (how it got through the mail sort of stumps me for that fact, as I thought return addresses were a requirement for postage). So all in all, it's sweet, I appreciate it, but I don't know who to thank for it.
So if your out there in the netherverse, reading this journal, and have sent me a card in the last week or so, thank you.

It started tuesday, got home from school, yelled at my less than smart phone for being broken and started working on finishing up my animation due on wed. got sick of my phone when it crashed and deleted everything, called in tech support, getting a new phone mailed to me...hopefully that one works, but i'm out a phone. or rather..it still "works" some what, but if anyone sends me a txt or something you have a 50/50 shot of it being eaten by the phone before it gets to me. Sorry if anyone's texted me in the last week. If I haven't replied, it's cause it got eaten, so might as well just email me fuzzyroo[at]gmail.com
NOW the animation....took SOOOOOO much longer. Worked all night. then at 10am wed....MICROSOFT C++ERROR! hurray, nearly everything I worked on, lost. and no time to re-do it. I went to class. jumped out of 1 class early to work on animation. Had to re-texture everything, and blah blah blah. Trouble with rigging and skinning the mesh, all sorts of things.
Class ends at 5pm, but no not many of us were actually done by then. I was the 2nd to last person to leave at 7pm with only 1 person left in the class..who was retaking the class at a high level (we are all 300 him and one other were 500 it's strange but works). So yeah... My animation flopped but I was able to trick it in there by copy pasta scenes to make it the specified time of one min. So it worked out in the end. I'll be going back in over spring break to hopefully make my animation the full 3 min...
so yeah, 16 hours of sleep and now I feel strange....
