So here I am. Recovering from the life crisis that has held me in a panicked grip for the past 2 years. I has a job with the USPS... and the training hours are killing me... yay waking up at 4am every day...

It's still is going to be a while before I can travel... so no cons for the future yet :( kinda sucks, but sacrifices must be made for a better future for myself.

I'm writing about a mad scientist's experiment who's trying to live a normal life after the scientist gets busted by superheroes.... but everyone is super suspicious that he's evil... I mean, how can you trust a velociraptor to be a "person" and not eat anyone?

So, there's that. Anyways, off to work!

Yup. Just another night filled with insomnia and nothing to do but exercise my thumbs on a journal post.

Yet another crazy coming out of the woodwork. I don't know what it is about me that attracts so many of them O.o I'm like a magnet for the deranged. Like that one girl I'll never forget at a con who told me that "Because she saw me naked on the internet, according to her religious beliefs, we had to get married now.". Crazy sticks to me like peanut butter to the roof of a dog's mouth.

The good news, if there is this lucid TV show, picking up some quick cash from these threats, defamation of character, and digital rights violations will be a pretty sweet windfall for me.

And please note that I don't usually do things like this. Usually I leave names out of stories or my rants or what have you. I may drop subtle hints that "if you know him, you'd know who I was talking about", but generally I keep "fights" clean. This, however, is a little different. One of those "unpredictable" moments of drama that it's best to have saved documentation encase of the highly unlikely scenario that they weren't doing a bunch of hallucinogens or decided not to use their doctor prescribed SSRIs.

Super tired, but yeah....

Here's what's up. I got hired by the USPS! WOOT! Plus it's factory work so easy peasy money in the bank! I start mid June.

Then in late August I start community college to get me on track for my career!

So yeah, that stuffs!

So here I am at my folks' place. As it turns out, it might be shaping out to be O.K. Room situation might be a little awkward. I've got a lot of cleaning to go before I can have all my boxes in 1 room instead of 2... I have to box up another family member's stuff first as they just left a mountain of junk behind when they went to college last year.

But as for internet: I has it. I got a PCI wireless adapter on my folks' N network, so the speed is ok, not the best, but ok. I think I can even game somewhat on it.

For the next week or so, things are going to be quite cramped, so doing videos or other content that you may be used to seeing is on a minor hiatus until I can get enough room to do so. It should be fine though. So far they are respecting my privacy and haven't questioned any of my things or conspicuously large trash bags covering rude arts and giant stuffed plushes.

I've also started to reacquaint myself with the KC furs group. I've been gone for 3 years, so it's awkward to re-meet people and meet new people. I find myself being the "new guy" once again. And that makes me nervous, and when I get nervous, I tend to talk way too much and become really excited and loud... especially when drinking. In other words, I make a complete fool of myself. But I'm friendly and personable, so, hopefully I leave good impressions and befriend the fur group once again. I really need to be less of a reclusive hermit :3

So things are both good and terrible right now.

On the good side, my long-term plans to become a video game developer are right on track. I start going to the local community college in the fall for an associates degree in the field, which the whole purpose for that is to build a solid works portfolio that I can wave in the face of game companies. So yay.

What sucks is the "now". Right now, I've been struggling with finding a job since I've graduated back last may. At $9/hr I simply can't afford rent so I've been relying on my parents to help me find a job where I can afford rent... which isn't going very well at all. You know, with a bachelors degree being employment kryptonite and all.

Nobody is hiring people that know what they are doing. They don't want people with the education and the work ethic to move up in a company. They want the brain-dead factory worker who pulls a level for $7.25/hr and is content with doing that same job for 10 years and 0 upward mobility. Giving out my resume is about as effective as tossing it into a trashcan fire... well... at least the trashcan fire can keep me warm.

And what hurts, I think, the most, is that it's not my fault. I've done everything I was supposed to. I went to school, I got an education, I'm supposed to have a pathway to a "decent" job at $10-13/hr. That is the lie we tell ourselves and our children. The reality is: since I wasn't born into wealth, since I wasn't lucky with some social media app, I'm pretty much doomed into $7.50/hr regardless of how hard I work towards anything. The game is rigged and not in my favor, not in anyone's favor save for those born into the top.

And of course my folks blame me. They think that I can't get a job because of something I'm doing. In their warped twisted minds, I'm probably a drug addict doing cocaine or heroin behind their backs. In job interviews they think I start spouting strange and awkward furry and brony topics that were not called for nor wanted. I don't know what they think, but I do know they think it's my fault I can't find work. I'm doing everything I can, and if it were up to me, I'd be paying myself money.

Long story short, I'm having to move back in with my folks... which is going to suck 100%. In the long term it's monetarily better as I don't have to worry about rent or food. But for the "now", extremely limited internet access, constant eyes watching my every move and constantly hovering over my shoulder, judging me and spouting lies...

Even worse, they did what they always do: Make plans about me without telling me. I.E. I've been holding off packing everything up as I didn't know when they planned on having me move in. Then mid last week, SURPRISE I have less than a week to pack. great. now they want to come up and take my big couch this weekend... and I'm not done packing that portion of the room... yes there isn't much, granted, but still...

Not only that, but my folks are less than non-appreciative of my nerd life, so anything nerdy is in constant danger. Especially brony and furry gear...which is like... 100% of my gear. So I'm faced with a dilemma: What to do with stuff.

On one hand, I can ditch some stuff in a friend's storage space in their house, they said it was fine. But on the other hand, what to ditch and what to risk. I want to keep my fursuits with me... but I'm not guaranteed my folks wont try to sabotage them when I'm not watching. I want to keep some of my adult toys... as sexual wellness aids are just that, sexual wellness... I'd loose my mind if I couldn't "play" for a long extended period of time... but if my folks saw any of that, even a conspicuous bottle of goop, they'd freak right the fuck out... which I find fucking dumb since they are both medical professionals... stress the "professional" part.

So yeah, what this means is: some time next week, my internet and my life (not that there has been much of one sans unemployment) goes "poof". Total suckfest.

So, in the spirit of moving in the future, I've decided once and for all to unload some of the stuff that's been caked on over the years. Stuff like my stacks of video games. I think I'm going to auction them off as I can probably get much closer to their true playable value that way than if I went to a local pawnshop who can't see past a couple of grey paper weights.

I don't know if I will have the full auction(s) up before my birthday on the 18th, but I think I'm going to do them as independent console bundles. There's some rare titles in the lists so I'm kind of excited to see how the auctions respond.

I'm also thinking of auctioning off my entire thing-a-madoo of magic cards. I believe there may be upwards ~200-300 cards there with some "rare gems" in the piles. But I don't want to look over every single individual card so I'm just gonna throw them all in a mystery box and be done with the whole mess. Never liked Magic the Gathering anyhoo.

So yeah.... my insomnia is hitting me squah in the face again, so it's been a few days into April and I had forgotten, lol.

But yeah, It's my birthday month! With the 18 fast approaching... I have no plans. Well, continue looking for work, that's my birthday plans.

I do have one pretty damn good lead, though. I've been in contacts with a dispatch job for a semi-local "law enforcement agency". I'd have to move to MO, but since I'm graduated, KU isn't holding me down anymore.

I'd like to move to one of the coasts, but I gotta generate some serious scratch before I can even think about packing up and shipping out...

Ideally, I'd love to move to a place with a grand thriving furry community (especially with suiters I already know), and an even harder to find, thriving brony community :3... but tis a dream for now. My plan is, step 1) GET A JOB step 2) Take the 30-some credit hours in the local community college to slap an associates video game design degree onto my college transcripts and use that to build a portfolio of works. step 3) find an entry level position doing something cool somewhere that isn't here... ideally as far away from god-damn kansas as possible... OPERATION: GET THE FUCK OUT OF DODGE!

There's a lot of folks I'll miss, sure. But there really isn't anything for me here. And anyways, this is all a couple years down the road. It'll take me a little time before I can get the funding to up and get-out.

But yeah, that's my plans.

Trying to get out of this damn slump I've been in for the past couple of months. I think it's depression that's been genetically hereditary in my family for generations. So yeah, I'm going to try and power through it the best I can.

That being said, it's fursuit Friday. I'm doing fursuit stuffs at home by myself. I was going to go to planet comicon... but that kind of fell through, both my ride and my money to go were suddenly taken out from under my feet, so that's a no go.

As I'm working away at re-crafting my old www.ponieswithplot.tubmlr.com, working on hammering out my first part of my web comic, writing my video game review for my science fiction blog, and FUCKING FINISHING MY BRONYCON 2013 REPORT (stupid life issues getting in the way), I've got some general ramblings on the future.

While I'm stuck at rock bottom for the near future, I can still dream of things I want down the line. Some day I will have a job that pays decently (above $10/hr) and some day I'll be able to do things that I really want to do, I.E. go to cons and see more of the world. I also plan on getting a slew of Rule 34 fursuits!


Yup, adult versions of copyrighted characters that I think would be fun and hilarious to have and wear about. I've also been debating putting something out on the porn crowd sourcing website "Offbeatr" to start funds for a mrrsuit studio. Sadly I still live in Kansas, where selling porn movies is highly illegal, so I'd have to start my project when I move out of state.... though not sure when that will happen as everything's all fuckadoo right now.

But the idea is to: Get a cheep small warehouse or a space to film somewhere. Write a script, get some fursuits together, and film a decently produced murrsuit DVD, since not a one exists. Ideally, I'd have a set designer, props master, and a small camera/sound crew. Get a DJ to mix out some banging house music, and have kind of an adult party!

But since that's a long ways away from today, I can still dream of fun fursuits to own and make videos with. I already have one on my list: which is my Zazu suit from Lion King... I still have yet to name 'em :(

Changing up my online presence a tad bit. What's going on? Well, I've been writing video game reviews for a little over a year now, and finally I've decided to expand my writings to adult toy reviews! A little bit of a stretch, I know, but I feel that it needs to be done. There's a lot out there, and some things are better than others.

Where is this going to be? Well, I'm converting my old ask blog into more of a guru advice blog. Simply put, I'm adding toy reviews to my ask blog. How this changes things is that questions can be more broad about adult sexuality in general, rather than just my amateur adult film star experience.

I still take any question and answer all of them to my best ability, but there will be a bit more general information on there as well as helpful images and adult toy critiques. My hopes is for it to be a general library of all around helpful sexual information that can be used as a (research) reference for furs and other nerdy sub-groups in the future.

The changes are not yet fully integrated and I'm debating which toy to start my review for, but yeah. It's a hard decision. Do I start with a positive review or a negative critique? All in all, this is kind of a #TMIALLWEEK blog.

Ok, so yeah...

I've been writing a hell of a lot lately... but in strange ways.

I've been writing RPGs.

My big project: My "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" brony themed RPG (titled: "The Mask of the Equitariat" is on the back burner, waiting to be transcribed into PDF so I can launch the final project stage on kick-starter (hiring an editor, hiring an artist(s), hiring another writer or two for spice, and then getting it digitally published for cheep as well as posted for free. The difference being the published version will be nicer and the free version will just be raw PDFs, probably).

I've been writing for 2 different games right now.

The first is a game that I am running starting tomorrow.

The game is named "Malfeasance of Time".

This game spawned from the fact that the person who generally GMs wants to instead play after they had gotten disenchanted with their last game. It happens. We had an odd mix of characters and... yeah... it just wasn't going anywhere.

So we all got together and talked about what would we all want if we ran a game. We talked about different universes and realities that would let us all both play and GM depending on where the party went.

As it turns out, some of the players are massive comic nerds and they started talking about a Marvel comic called "The Exiles" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exiles_(Marvel_Comics)) Simply put: the universe "chooses" a collection of super heroes to fix space and time.

Sadly I'm not familiar with the comic, but since I'm out of school and have nothing really better to do, I decided to take up the mantel of running the hard part. Game/Universe 1. It is the hard part due to the first game sets the tone for all the others. The reason everything is fucked, why the superheroes are together, introducing the big bad, and everything like that. I'm doing the tough part and I want to do the tough part. It's a test on my skills as a story teller, that I desperately need.

I have written about 8 pages of the game, tacking down history of the Macroverse (the term I'm using for all of space and time including infinite realities), reasons for being, and strange happenings that are causing the degeneration of the Macroverse.

There's not much on the portal site, mainly because I can't really put much more than that without spoiling the rest of the game.... As a River Song would say: "Spoilers..."





Game 2:
I'm playing in this one. It takes place every Thursday and is a short 2 hour a night game. We were playing a "Cthulhu" horror game... but I was having a lot of trouble really getting into it. Something about playing human characters always make me blase about a game. Sadly, the GM, who is a friend of mine, has a job that is making him take night courses for the next few months or so. So another friend of mine is taking up the reigns to GM.

In this new game, we are playing the Incredibles family in the "future" of that world. So not the team from the movie, but their decedents.

I've written about another 8 pages last week on the history, physiology, and powers of my character.

Real Name: Duke Barkington
Hero Name: DogShot

Basically: He's a genetic mutated experiment from a mad scientist who was defeated by the incredibles when I was just a puppy. They decided to rescue me and take me as a pet since I seemed normal enough. There was no way to know at the time that I was a perfected weapon of mass destruction. That fact just came into light when I matured and started launching cannon balls, talking, and telephoning about.

Luckily, he was rescued as a puppy and the mad scientist's plan was foiled. Who knows what havoc would have been wrecked if DogShot was allowed to be trained into a teleporting killing machine with a built in quick fire howitzer. Little is known what happened to the scientist when he was defeated, but his M.O. was building super weapons and weapons of mass destruction out of animals. Most of his experiments were failures, but nobody knows how many were complete successes. At the time, due to his age and powers not developing till later in development, Duke Barkington was labeled as a failure (thus why the family took him in. If he was a failure at being evil, how bad could he be to take care of? Just look at that wrinkly puppy face and those big lovable eyes? How could you resist?)

My character is a lot like Brian from Family Guy in mechanics sense. That is to say, he is classified as a "pet" but is more of a "person". Still, because he's a dog, there are already set prejudices against him whether he knows about them or not. My character is like that as well, he might be chased out of a building or get strange looks when he sits at a table, but in all honesty, my Englishman Bulldog is a more civilized gentleman than anyone has possibly ever met. He is quite well read as well as highly educated, though he still has to wear a collar where ever he goes due to state dog laws. In one of the papers I gave to my GM when discussing my character, I even added recollections DogShot has about Sun Tzu's Art of War about mobility as it applies to the strategy of early modern and WWI/II artillery movement. Haha...BULLY!

I have yet to decide if my character will wear a bowler hat and have a cigar...

These are interesting times indeed.

So yeah. Just had a very very awkward interview with a company. My resume is great, and my interview went wonderfully, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutt there's this online "assesment" that you can only take once per year. It doesn't matter that I have an autistic spectrum disorder that doesn't let me computer test well, I didn't get a high enough score so there goes that job.

That makes it 11 failed interviews since graduation. Yay college being absolutely worthless in the real world! Spend $40-50K, in debt up to your eyeballs, well, that's ok. You won't be able to find the simplest of employment. Fast food? Ha! You wish you were so privileged!

Welp.... not sure what to do now. I'll keep applying, but my hopes for the job market are 0 to none...

Ok, so I've decided to make a vine account to play around with. There's nothing really on it, but I'm going to start experimenting with it.

Sadly, I kind of need more ideas... Grr being single blows :/
