Posted 15 years agoHee, this meme looks somewhat more fun than most. By default I'm going to assume any answers are about my main avatar, the micro nilla coonferret Shiro, but if you want you can also say something about my big hyena Malik instead.
1. What do you think my character would have a job/career in?
2. What is unique about my character that you enjoy?
3. What are his flaws?
4.What are some changes you would like to see? What else comes to mind about him?
5. What would you like to see my character doing in future pictures?
6. How old does my character look?
7. On a scale of 1-10, how attractive is my character? (you don't have to answer this/take this seriously lol)
8. On a scale to 1-10, how sexually attractive is my character? (same as above)
9. On a scale to 1-10, how well does my character fit me?
10. If you could, how would you personally change him to fit me better?
Also, I will of course be going to Rainfurrest! It is only a 45 minute drive in traffic after all. :D
Where are you staying?
At the main hotel, with my sexy bunny
cth. ^.^ It is nice to have somewhere to retreat to, and entertain / give paw worship to friends, without having to drive home!
What day are you getting there?
I'll get getting in Thursday night!
Who will you be with?
You'll probably see me most times either with
cth, or with
faygo, or with
tyco and
shiuk, though I'm hoping lots of friends will show up! Maybe I will even be spending time with you!
Do you do requests or trades?
I... guess? Lawl, I'm not very good yet, but I could sketch for a few people if I have time, especially if they are doing something for me. :)
Do you do commissions?
Well again I'm not exactly an artist yet, and I would feel bad taking money for my level of art.
Do you have prints?
Paw-prints! *displays his pawsies to you*
Do you do badges?
Eventually! Not yet though, hehe.
Will you have Art in the Art Show?
I might become the owner of some!
What is your gender?
Male coonferret human hyena person.
How old are you?
30, though everyone keeps guessing much lower than that.
Can I talk to you?
If you are friendly and not a creeper!
Can I touch you?
If you are friendly and not a creeper, and if by touch you mean hug!
Photographs?
Hm. I'll consider it, but ideally only if it's a cute situation. :3
Can I hang out with you?
If my time hasn't already been committed to someone else, sure!
How can I find you?
If you are friends with me then you probably already have my cellphone or email, or can DM me on Twitter! If we become friends at the con, then I can always give you contact info there. :3
Oh and did I mention already that
cth is coming up for the con? :D He'll be here for a whole week! I'm very excited by this prospect. ^.^ You should be jealous of the cuddles and pawrubs and food he will be getting! *nods sagely*
Still practicing drawing every day. Eventually I will be good enough to post regularly. >:E And there will be many paws for all! I will also do a webcomic which I already have a bajillion ideas for. I am grateful to
aggrobadger and
voondahbayosh in particular for being so supportive. :3
I am participating in multiple D&D games right now. I am playing in an Eberron game with my offline group and DMing an online game in a homebrew setting with
rickgriffin
catspajamas
cth and
aggrobadger. I think Skype will make that latter game work better, because the chief problem of playing online is that text takes forever compared to just talking to someone at the game table. Proving that I don't know when enough is enough I will also be running an offline game soon in Dark Sun 4E.
Someday I will play Mass Effect and such. I have them on my computer but haven't found the time. ^^;
I have lost about 14-15 pounds in the last 3 months. :D Hopefully that continues! Heck, maybe it will even continue indefinitely and turn me into a tinycoon in RL. I can hope, right? =)
I am looking forward to having my own fursuit finally!
tyco is working on it for me and hopefully it will be done before FC. I am super excited about it and judging from his prior work I think he'll do a great job. <3 And then at FC and various furmeets I will be bouncing around in my Shiro suit and giving people coonferret hugs! Maybe even pawrubs in suit... :O
Don't forget, if you are local to here, the end of Rainfurrest isn't the end of local festivities!
faygo and I are hosting a gigantic dance party the weekend after Rainfurrest here in north Seattle, the Nth annual PCD! We'll have some ads for it at the con, but you can also find info here:

Got pandora working right in Chrome again
Posted 15 years agoI figured out what was wrong with pandora in chrome and now I'm happy with chrome again. Nothing seemed to fix it, not even uninstalling and reinstalling... But, changing the page zoom did. Apparently pandora's website uses crazy coding and it is a like a webpage with a viewing window overlaid over a background flash layer, and it was zoomed out/small such that the viewing window was smaller than the flash underneath so the flash was being cut off. It seems like a weird fix to me but if it works.
Machete!

voondahbayosh was inspired by one of my favorite catch phrases to draw this awesome image and put it on a shirt, and you should have it on your skin! MySoti is a site with some great build quality, and the images are so large and spiffy looking. :D
Oh, and while you're adding that to your cart, you might consider one of these!

Pimpage, movie trailer, drawing!
Posted 15 years agoFirst, the pimpage! You should go check out
jwolfsky if you want some cheap commissions. You can get pics like these for only $3, or $5 with color!
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4234054
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4233983
Next, the movie trailer!
That looks pretty spiffy. :D Seems sort of like it is going to start off like Alice in Wonderland or Spirited Away then proceed into undiluted ass kicking.
As for the other! Finally starting to practice drawing. I want to get good enough to draw for myself... especially paw stuffs for myself. ;) But I also want to do a webcomic! I have a crazy amount of ideas for it already and that is the chief motivating factor driving me on. Whatever it takes, right?
Did a few baseline drawings to establish my starting skill level so I have something to compare progress over time to. Warning, it's pretty shitty. :/

http://stuff.dracandros.com/fuzzy%2.....0%20no%202.jpg
Here's hoping I can advance past that at a reasonable pace. :P

Dream Log 7-12-10
Posted 15 years ago...
* ice skating world championship in Japan
* i was a girl? like Mulan from the Disney movie I think
* took a train out of Nagasaki to competition city
* had a hotel room with my friend Michael
* people there dressed like court of old china or arabia
* some detour sidequest adventure in the meantime about a zelda dungeon with the exit route being through a cave
* course was outdoors and like a 1/4 mile elementary school loop track
* average overcast weather? despite outdoor ice loop
* competing against only two other people
* took a while to put on skates. sock focus. timer for round was already started by the time i was done
* had to fly around track wushuwise before skating
* wasn't doing so well after first round, would kind of lose focus while flying around a curve and it would take a while to turn and start accelerating down the straight side again
* snide comments about me from competitors and announcer between rounds
* second round distracted, couldn't stay aloft in air, only a couple feet continually touching down, so went off midround
* area outside town was apparently Washington state peninsula or something with random bonus crater / canyon / badland / desert area and signage indicating how proud they were of their crater / canyon / crack thing
* changed mind and backtracked
* in foresty swampy area mudhole found... something, seems to improve my morale
* returned to track late through second round with only 6-7 minutes left
* wushu'd around with 80s inspirational final sequence movie music, mostly samus multiple space jumping while stuff from a chinese restaurant placemat like the animal zodiac gods light up in sequence with each jump, and win, getting a big trophy
* walked around competition area, found the evil sorcerer Ad Avis from Quest for Glory 2 locked in a cell near / where the cave exit from the dungeon was from earlier
* was enspelled and... killed / petrified?
* ... reload save game?
* wrapped some gold foil I found somewhere around my left arm in a big exaggerated loop, went back down to Ad Avis
* Ad Avis mentioned I was clever because gold blocks magic or something
* somehow freed an arabian prince in so doing
* hotel hallway was cluttered but got stuff, retrieved companion
* now everyone's mass exodus from town? I was walking near the prince and fat ancient china dressed mustache guy
* we saw the forest swampy area mudhole down below while on an elevated walkway or stairs? I don't remember it being adjacent to such before
* prince and fat ancient china dressed mustache guy comment how a single slip would have resulted in me falling in and quicksanding
* stop to watch shadowplay through window as someone summons a genie and has bad luck with it
* ... _bus_ arrives back in nagasaki, in front of plane terminal which has an outside concrete courtyard with a flight of wide stairs in front of it and on top is a mostly glass and steel structure resembling something more like the police station from Last Action Hero, no lanes or cars for departures arrivals etc outside
* oh no only a few minutes until plane leaves!
* don't seem to be in a rush going through the airport
* in terminal a bunch of stereotypical "ugly American" tourists are sitting in a hugenormous lobby watching replays of ice skating like it is the world cup and being stupid about it
* woke up by alarm
I didn't have dinner last night, just a bagel with cream cheese, all I had before bed was a small bowl of cookies and cream ice cream half and halfed with cookie dough ice cream, a tablespoon of nyquil, a melatonin, a zyrtec allergy pill, and some ibuprofen.

Meth is pretty much the worst drug in existence and can addict or kill you on the first attempt. So, hell no, not even if you pay me.
[03] Abortion: for or against it?
For. I do think there should be a mandatory "waiting period" where you have to think it over between when you go in for your consultation and when you get the procedure, but the option still needs to be there for any number of legitimate medical and societal reasons. Contraception is infinitely better though.
[04] Do you think a country would fail with a female president?
Because the UK failed under Margaret Thatcher... oh wait, it didn't. I think there would be even more of an around the clock media circus of retarded drama than is currently circling Obama, and it'd stoop to even pettier levels like whether or not her appearance is "aging well", but that wouldn't be indicative of her capabilities or lack thereof - just of the retards who pass for talking heads in this country.
Rule of thumb for voting in an election: Judge someone first on whether you believe they are engaged and competent to do their job, second on whether you believe they are corrupt, third on whether you agree with their stated beliefs and goals, and not at all on what they look like. Corruption precedes stated beliefs because if they are in fact corrupt they're not going to do what they say anyway. Competence precedes corruption because it's better to have an asshole who knows how to govern than a good person who blows with the wind and lets things decay because they can't get anything done.
[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
I tend to think that death is actually an escape, compared to permanent incarceration for the rest of your life, which I think would be a far worse punishment to bear. That said...
No, I don't believe in the death penalty. Not only do the statistics not bear out the notion of it being a crime deterrent, but any number of innocents have been executed and that should never happen. Besides, this is the 21st century. We're (theoretically) not a bunch of evil ignorant savages like the monsters who wrote the Old Testament - the idea of "an eye for an eye" is bullshit.
[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes. It's infinitely safer than alcohol and far less addictive to boot, and makes you legitimately feel better physically and mentally as well. Ever hear of a violent stoner? Neither have I.
Hell, even my father, a prison warden and staunch conservative, is in favor of legalizing and taxing everything. It'd be like a trifecta of accomplishment - not only would the country gain a new source of revenue, and not only would druggies get access to cleaner less expensive drugs without the worry of them being cut with bleach, but it'd drastically cut the prison population and the amount of money we spend on incarceration. Considering that over half the prison population is there for minor drug offenses, and it costs over $40k per prisoner per year to keep them incarcerated, that would be an incredibly good thing to correct. Oh and it also pulls the rug out from underneath any number of violent drug trafficking criminals, further improving everyone's quality of life.
[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
I don't think the "premarital" part is anywhere near as important as the "loyal to one person" part. If you are not sleeping around to fill a void, if you are not cheating on your lover, then so what? It's been happening since the dawn of time, who am I or anyone else to say people can't do it? Obviously people should use protection and contraception to avoid spreading STD's and bringing unwanted children into the world. But ultimately it's up to individuals to decide the course of their own lives.
[08] Do you believe in God?
No. I'm open to the prospect of there being some kind of deity or deities, but I'm pretty much 100% confident that if such exist they are not as described by any human religion, and the laws of science work fine without them. People can't even get it straight within a single religion (how many denominations are there of Christianity alone? Over a thousand, at least?), let alone between the hundreds of different religions that have been developed over time, so why should anyone believe any of them?
Still, believe what you want. There's nothing wrong with believing that God created the laws of science and set the universe in motion. But if what you believe contradicts observable fact, you're a moron. If you think the world was created six thousand years ago and that God created fake fossils and the illusion of a universe extending billions of light years in all directions as a lie simply to test our faith so he has an excuse to torture otherwise good hearted people forever in a lake of fire, you should do the world a favor and go drink some bleach.
[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Marriage is an institution that predates the existence of Judaism, let alone Christianity or Islam. It should be open to consenting adults regardless of gender and should be strictly a matter of civil law rather than religion. Want a religious ceremony to go along with your civil marriage certificate? Be my guest! But don't say people who aren't like you don't get to marry just because.
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Maybe if we did something to make sure Mexico wasn't such a shithole third world nation, their lives wouldn't be so terrible and they wouldn't all be trying to migrate here. How pathetic is it that we're so wealthy but we have this ghetto at our doorstep filled with people we can't be bothered to help? That said, I don't want them here because there are too many people in this country as it is, but if you're an illegal and you're reading this and thinking of moving here, at least learn the damn language. That's English, not inglés. :\
[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
Of course not. What kind of question is this? Obviously she either has terrible judgment or has been raped to get in this situation in the first place, and in either case she doesn't have the time or resources to raise a baby while going to school and will just end up as some jobless dropout welfare parasite if she keeps it, so the baby should either be aborted or given up for adoption.
[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
If you're old enough to die for your country in the military, you're old enough to drink or rent a car. There should be no question of that whatsoever. Besides, people drink at even younger ages in countries like France and Germany, and they don't exactly have total societal collapse going on because of it.
[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
With even a fraction of the amount of money we spend each year on the military, we could have free healthcare and college education for everyone, government supplied food banks and work programs for the destitute and homeless, and increased grant support for important medical and scientific research. Guess my answer, it shouldn't be too hard.
[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
You might have guessed that I'm a hybrid liberal / libertarian by now, so you should be able to guess this pretty easily as well. It's not the government's place to tell me what I can and can't do with my body, including causing its life functions to cease. Obviously it's not a decision that should be made on a whim, and again, I'm okay with a mandatory waiting period, but if someone wants to do it - that's their call.
[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
Once in a while is okay if you can't get them under control otherwise. You should never just give up and let the kid get their way if they're being an asshole, because that is never going to end well, the kid will be a total dick when they grow up and even before. But it should never be the first resort, because that just teaches kids that violence is the answer and has been linked in countless studies to abusive behavior later in life.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
People seem to forget that the official prescribed means for honorably disposing of a flag is in fact by way of fire. Burning a flag doesn't inherently imply that you pissed on it and screamed epithets upon everything it represents. So sure, cut me my check.
[17] Who do you think would have made a better president? McCain or Obama?
The office of the presidency under Obama might as well be vacant because he sure as hell isn't doing anything worth noting about any of the problems facing our country. Still, "nothing happens for four years, status quo" is a better outcome than "rocks fall everyone dies", and it's not exactly a stretch to imagine that Palin or one of her legion of axe crazy followers would have had McCain assassinated to get her moved straightaway into the top office if his heart didn't give out on its own from stress and age first. So, lesser of two evils, Obama's better than the alternative.
[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Oh I'm sure some people will. But hey, whatever.
This might be a good opportunity to remind people that I have a formspring where you can ask me questions!

Posted 15 years agoScore one for Inkbunny - intelligent keyword blocking!
Posted 15 years agoJust looked in the keyword block control panel on Inkbunny for the first time, and I'm impressed - for once, it's an intelligently designed system! In addition to the "general universal block" you can actually set keywords to be blocked only for mature and/or adult images with sex and/or violence. Very nice :) That should make it easy for people to, say, block the keyword "cub" when it appears in adult pieces, while still being able to see clean cub pieces for the cuteness. Less bitching and drama, yay!
Should I?
Posted 15 years agoShould I go ahead and mirror my commissions over onto Inkbunny? Would be nice to have a backup to FA, and it does have the pools and tagging that would make it easier to specify that these pics are commissions and not by me. :)

Posted 15 years ago1. ( ) Have you ever howled at the moon?
Can't say that I have. Too many inhibitions for that in a populated area.
2. (x) Have you ever barked at someone?
Though raccoonish noises are more common, which is fitting, considering...
3. (x) Have you ever found yourself drawing or scribbling furry art when you're supposed to be doing something else?
I'm supposed to be doing something else? Oh yeah, working on D&D campaign stuff...
4. (x) Have you ever worn an animal costume or tail as a child and pretended to be an animal?
Not just as a child! I've tried fursuiting and I want one of my own.
5. (x) Have you ever eaten out of a dog bowl?
I've been sub for a while, and this came up at least once serving a neighborhood kid as a child..
6. (x) Have you been to at least one furry con?
Several! Rainfurrest and Further Confusion are now permanent fixtures on my yearly calendar. Maybe I'll start going to FA United now that various people I know are living on the east coast.
7. ( ) Do you like to look at furry porn all the time?
I'll look at it, I'm not a prude, but mostly I look at clean works and those are 99% of what I +fave as well.
8. (x) Do you RP or play second life as a furry character?
IM rp as my fursona and I play furry characters in D&D and such regularly.
9. ( ) Do you own a fursuit or at least a tail?
No but I intend to get both. I should have had the tail already but the artist is more than a year overdue. :\
10. (x) Do you know what all these words mean or have used them at least once?
Kinda hard to spend much time in furry without learning all these words.
11. ( ) Do you have at least 5 videos of you acting or doing something furry on youtube?
I have no plans to _ever_ be on Youtube.
12. ( ) Has your fursona/character been drawn in a furry porn type manner?
No, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Kinda asexual in that way. I know people get off to some of the more risque pictures I post, but that's fine, it's natural.
13. (x) Are you well known in the furry fandom?
Considering the sheer number of people I bump into at cons and other situations, and artists I commission online, who have already seen my character or heard of me...
14. (x) Do you dream furry while you sleep?
Sometimes yeah. That's where some of the characters I get drawn sometimes come from, like Zyne.
15. (x) Would you transform into your character/fursona if you were given the chance to live like that for the rest of your life?
An adorable, tiny, fuzzy, nilla-scented, indestructible micro raccoon-ferret? Hell yes. Even if (especially if) it meant being immediately captured and enslaved for the rest of my life.
16. (x) Have you ever worn a collar?
I prefer the understated kind.
17. (x) Do you own more than 20 art badges of your fursonas or characters?
Easily. Not to mention a crazy metric asston of other art.
18. ( ) Have you been to more than 20 furry cons in your lifetime?
No, that will happen before 2020 though. Maybe even the end of 2015 if I do start going to a third con every year.
19. ( ) Do you think that deep down you have the spirit of an animal within you?
No, and come on, think about it. Why is everyone who thinks this, convinced that they are the incarnation of some noble creature like a wolf or lion or whatever? You never see anyone who believes they have the spirit of the cockroach or tapeworm.
20. (x) Do you enjoy hanging out with other furries?
My roommates are furry, most of my social circle except for a couple coworkers and people met through them are furries.
21. (½) Do you think we should have a furry run for president of the USA?
I have no opinion on it one way or the other. Plenty of furries who are losers and assholes but no more than the general proportion of humanity at large. All my best friends and people I regard most highly in my life are furry. So if the president was a furry, so what?
22. (½) If you ever became rich would you own a room in your house that was just to display your fursuits or furry art?
Why would I devote a separate room to that when I could just put stuff everywhere?
23. (x) Is your best friend furry?
For at least 13 years now I've been able to say my best friend is furry.
24. (x) Do your furry friends call you by your furry name in public?
Most of them, yeah, except in a few specific places or around specific people.
25. (x) Have you been in the furry fandom for at least 5 years?
Longer than that, and was a furry without being aware of the fandom for longer than _that_.
1 to 5 = Furry wannabe.
6 to 10 = Furry newbie.
11 to 15 = Furry.
16 to 20 = Hardened Furry.

Hurrah for Alienware and Wacom!
Posted 15 years agoMy new laptop arrived today, the first laptop I've owned! It's all been desktops to this point, and while I can and have built those before I am not going that way with a laptop, no sir. I am so psyched that I managed to stack enough discounts to make Alienware work out to be the best power-for-price option for me and now I have it in my greedy little paws!
Opening the box was full of unexpected little surprises. I kind of expected that there would be a mousepad, but a leather-bound manual? Really? Also a baseball cap with the logo, and some spare USB cables and stuff. And my laptop in a nice felt bag, pulling out to reveal my nameplate on the back. =) Oh and the Orion carrying backpack that they shipped in advance of the laptop is awesome too! Easily the best backpack I've ever owned and it's got the easy airport screening feature which is really convenient. ^.^
So what is it, specifically! It's an M15x, with a 15.6" inch widescreen 1080p LED screen. It has a quadcore Intel i7 720QM processor, 6 GB of 1333 mhz DDR3 memory, a 1 GB ATI Radeon Mobility 5850 video card, and a 500 GB 7200 rpm hard drive. It runs Windows 7 Ultimate (it was only $15 more than the Pro version, so why not), 64 bit edition. Despite all this stuff it runs cooler than I expected and very very quiet. The build quality is awesome and the machine just looks amazing in every way. I love the whole ability to change the glow colors too. <3 Right now my keyboard and air vents are luminescing purple, like my character's eyes!
Simultaneously with the laptop I bought myself a Wacom Intuos4 from Amazon, because I want to teach myself how to do digital art. That was an amazing unboxing too! They really put that package together with the purpose of exciting you as you open it. It's a super well made piece of kit, there's stuff hidden under various layers of the packaging, and I can't wait to try it out!
Right now I'm mainly waiting for Steam to finish its interminable migration process. I thought Windows Update would be the killer as far as setting up the new computer but, nope, it's Steam. Bastages. :3

Re donating to FA
Posted 15 years agoI've noticed that only those people who already had AlertPay accounts set up and ready to go and thus were able to donate immediately got any kind of acknowledgement of their donation other than the listing on the page. Those of us who actually took the time and effort to create a new Alertpay account for that purpose, well, that doesn't mean anything I guess? ie, Dragoneer went around and thanked all the initial lot but no one said anything to the later folk.
Page might be better if it acknowledged prior donations too, like during the begging for hard drives in December.

First time
Posted 15 years agoSo I am pretty disabled in my room between stuck in the bathroom or curled in my bed in pain and nausea. Some of the worst food poisoning I've had.
And a little fox fairy comes and alights on my shoulder and whispers in my ear. I can make it better! He says, or something like that. It feels more epic right now.
And there is 7up and saltines and rainbow goldfish in his lair. And more importantly there is glass and hose and grinders and lighters and little green plant things in plastic bags.
And they burn a bit in your lungs.
The music sounds really good right now. Best in a while. The sheet and heating blanket and pile of fursuit fur on my chest feels really warm in a needed way. Things all seem more important. Most of all though I don't feel the pain or the nausea.
And I understand what they mean by medicinal.
And that is a really great thing.

Vacation over!
Posted 15 years ago... and as I finish this journal I have almost 1300 images in my Furaffinity backlog! Ack!
cth flew up to visit me and it was a lot of fun. :) We hung out, lazed around the house, went out to eat, went out to movies, and did other fun things.
Friday's key event was going to see Muse at Key Arena, and they put on an even better performance than the first time I saw them in concert! They're really great performers. Silversun Pickups opened for them, and they're pretty spiffy too. :D Afterwards while waiting for everyone to clear out of the parking garage, we went to this new restaurant called Genki Sushi in the QFC at the junction of Mercer. It's actually extremely good, with a la carte sushi on a conveyer belt, and for $20 we managed to fill up the both of us - that includes the desserts!
Saturday and Sunday was all about the camping trip up in the Cascades. I was the head chef of the event again and made a number of dishes including cheesy jalapeño burgers, blooming onions, chicken pesto tortellini alfredo, and homemade mapleicious deep-pocket belgian waffles the following morning, with Keef and Michael and Jango contributing such dishes as smoked chicken, soup, ribs, and fresh-fried donuts. The weather was better than last year, the people were more talkative and stayed around the kitchen more while we cooked, and in every respect I think it went off better than before. :) I do get the sense though that people didn't quite appreciate just how much work it was, because we made it look a lot easier than last time.
Movies! We saw Clash of the Titans, and How to Train your Dragon, and Hot Tub Time Machine, and Repo Men. That last one was at the dinner-and-booze-with-your-movie joint, the Cinebarre, which was appropriate because it's the kind of movie you need to see with a buzz, and the only one I wouldn't recommend to anyone else except with netflix. It failed in as many ways as Repo! The Genetic Opera failed, just differently, because this one was an action flick, but like Repo! it was quite a bit of fun if you ignore the wallbanger stuff and still worth seeing - just not worth paying for. The other three were all awesome though. ^.^ And of course there were the movies watched at home, like Labyrinth, which always has been and always will be my favorite movie. :D
There was lots of restaurant going and stuff too. All in all I'd say it was a fun vacation and much needed! I just wish I wasn't sick the whole time. ^^;
As long as I'm journaling, I like this meme so I'm going to do it. :3
1. If your fursona had to be a primate, it'd be...
A lemur! Mask and ringtail would make me feel more comfortable. :)
2. If your fursona had to be a feline, it'd be...
A spotted hyena! Yeah I know they're not precisely felines but neither are they precisely canines, and they're closer to felines than not. My alt, Malik, is of course a 'yena. :)
3. If your fursona had to be a canine, it'd be...
A samoyed! Adorable, fluffy, white, and smiley with a happy disposition. Also working dogs which suits a slavencoon like myself. :3
4. If your fursona had to be a hoofed animal, it'd be...
I'm not big on hoofed animals, honestly. But if I had to pick one, it'd probably be a lesser mouse-deer, because they're kinda cute. :) Failing that, some other cervine.
5. If your fursona had to be a cetacean, it'd be...
A commerson's dolphin; they have markings kinda like killer whales without actually being one, and they're pretty small, which suits me!
6. If your fursona had to be a mustelid, it'd be...
A ferret of course! My character is moving in the direction of becoming a coon-ferret hybrid as it is.
7. If your fursona had to be reptile, it'd be...
A tiny fluffdragon! But, if I have to answer with a real species, well, basilisk lizards are pretty awesome. Not only are they cute fellows, but they can move bipedally and can even walk on water!
8. If your fursona had to be a marsupial, it'd be...
Sugar gliders are pretty spiffy and cute. :D
9. If your fursona had to be a fully aquatic animal, it'd be...
I'd go with an otter or a seal but it says fully aquatic. :\ I'm tempted to say a plankton. It'd be an easy way to indulge my interest in being the prey in vore, my penchant for micro, and my general feeling of being inferior to others, all at once. :) Similarly with any tiny fish, like a sardine or anchovy.
10. If your fursona had to be an amphibian animal it'd be...
Salamanders are fairly awesome and among the only amphibians I actually like.
11. If your fursona had to be an avian/bird, it'd be...
A blue jay. It's in the same family as crows and ravens, which are awesome, and is likewise smart - but is quite spiffy looking as well!
12. If your fursona had to be a creepy crawly, it'd be...
An ant! See above under #9 about being tiny, voreable, and inferior, and add stompable. Plus they're actually kind of cute!
13. If your fursona had to be a real or unreal hybrid, it'd be...
Racoonferret!
14. If your fursona had to be a mythical creature, it'd be...
Hm. I'd be an Abatwa! It's a race of fey / fairies in South African folklore that are as small as and live with ants.
15. If your fursona had to be a Pokemon/Digimon, it'd be...
Zigzagoon. :3 Coonie.
16. If your fursona had to be a vehicle, it'd be...
Rollerblades count, right? They have wheels. ;)

Run at the same time, especially if you have a darker or more ambient instrumental station on Pandora such as would play things like "Mute" by Loscil, or "Continue" by Lull.
Even the 15 minute rainloop on rainymood is pretty awesome by itself. :)

Sorting out my time
Posted 15 years agoDon't mind me, just getting a handle on my schedule for the next month and getting the last journal off my front page. :3
3/13 - 3/18: Start working on my next freelance writing project. Contact about payment for previous project. Finish characters for D&D campaigns I'm playing in. Proofread Rick's stuff and get back to him. Buy deep fryer. Contact localfurs to drum up more attendance for this year's gourmet camping. Plan menu for what I'll be cooking as lead chef and determine what needs to be purchased for it. Find new artist to do badge for camping trip since previous artist flaked.
3/19 - 3/25: "Repo Men" comes out; put off until CTH is here. Contact all those artists who have had my commissions out for far too long, especially the stragglers from the auction a year ago this week. Keep working on freelance project.
3/26 - 3/31: "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Hot Tub Time Machine" come out; put off until CTH is here. Get house in order. Power drive to finish freelance project early so I don't have to worry about it next week. Shop for ingredients for the camping trip with Michael J. Determine how much of my kitchen will need to be brought on the camping trip.
4/1 - 4/7: On vacation. CTH visiting. "Clash of the Titans" comes out. Muse concert at Key Arena. Gourmet camping in the Cascades. Fun stuff. :)
As I find time: Start working on my own D&D house rules again. Play "Heavy Rain" and other games I haven't had time for. Find time to decompress.
