Posted 8 years agoNo really, they are not dead. They have just been extra lazy. They have a little free time and can get started on some of the work now.
Jinx is sorry for taking forever on commissions yet again.
Posted 8 years agoThough in part because he will be moving soon (Not far and the network will be set up before he arrives so no need to worry.) and partly because he couldn't get his mic to work at first. Really it is because he is lazy, more so at the start of things.
Really he has had it figured out for well over a month now and just wanted to lay around instead of getting stuff done.
He will get started now though, if he owed you one just poke him in the comments or in a note and he will get back to you as soon as he sees it so he can get started.
That being said Jinx is still lazy and both can't and won't do all the sessions tonight. Likely he will do one or two a night untill he is all caught up, then try going about this another way that will hopfully work out better for everyone.
Really he has had it figured out for well over a month now and just wanted to lay around instead of getting stuff done.

Why little Jinxy hates Discord.
Posted 8 years agoThis comes up a lot so Jinx will just make this and link to it each time he is asked.
Discord was advertised as being good for gamers and so a lot of them started using it. Because people do not like using more than one thing at a time they stopped using other things like Skype and Telegram. Because they where told Discord was good to use well playing games they did just that. Because they think it will be easy to use Discord and play games at the same time they play games a lot more. They Most fo them are wrong though and so now they spend all the time playing games and not talking to the little panda.
Jinx is OK with people playing as many games as they want, but gets lonely people do not poke them, and whenever they are on Discord all they can do is think of all the people on who moved to there and no longer talk to them which just makes him feel depressed.
And that is why Jinx doesn't use Discord.

Posted 8 years agoThere are things about Jinx that are not so well loved. But he hates when they come up and cache someone off, so he will just say it now and get it over with. (Yes, he did have a bad day, sadly there is nothing to be done about it for now.)
He is glad your Confederate/Nazi ancestresses are dead and hopes it was very painful for them, he does however feel sorry for any poor rats or worms that may have tried to eat the bodies. And yes, he knows the north only wanted to keep the US together. Better to do the right thing for the wrong reason then the wrong thing for a worse reason.
He would have taken the gun and shot Old Yeller so that kid wouldn't have too do it, so that poor dog wouldn't have too suffer, too keep others safe, and so he could know just what he would feel if he did the dead. And no, he didn't cry at the end, not even when he was a kid. Rabid beasts need to be put down. Even humans, even Jinx.
If you leave a living being in Jinx's care it will not last long.
Jinx would be please if the government got into eugenics as long as they only worried about making us stronger, smarter and healthier rather than trying to make us look a particular way and under stood that any and all inbreeding would mess things up. (And no, he doesn't think they should be able to say who you can have sex with, just who you can breed with. Those not permitted to breed would be fixed. (Jinx would be fixed for sure as would the rest of his family.))

How to purr like a cat in real life. (No really.)
Posted 8 years agoYou may have been told that humans vocal cords are not capable of this, and that is true. But there is a work around. A way to sort of emulate this sound using your tongue. Jinx figured out how to do this and would be happy to tell you how it's done. (And yes, he knows this is a silly skill to have.)
1) Take in a deep breath.
2) Slide your tongue up the roof of your mouth until it is just over the first ridge. (And Jinx does mean just over, any higher and this will not work correctly.)
3) Gently push your tongue into the roof of your mouth until you can just start to feel the pressure on the inside of your mouth. (You will feel it much more strongly on your tongue.)
4) Open your mouth just a tinny a bit.
5) Quickly start to exhale well relaxing your lips. You need to exhale fast enough that your lips do not close back up but not so fast that they push apart more. It may take you a few tries to get this just right.
If you practice you may find yourself learning to breath in though your nose and out though your mouth at the same time which will allow you to purr for much longer.

Trading hypnosis for a small Skyrim mod.
Posted 8 years agoSo yes, just that. If you can mod Skyrim to add two new conjuration spells for him he will make you two hypnosis files. And now Jinx shall list all the details he would like. (Please note that they would need to work with SkyrimRedone as Jinx uses that, and that the stock spelltome modules, animations, and partical effects will all be just fine. Feel free to talk to Jinx if you feel anything needs to be rebalanced.)
Conjure Werewolf Familiar: Calls on your beast blood to grant you a werewolf familiar for 2 minutes provided you are yourself a werewolf. NPCs react the same to the werewolf familiaras they would to your beast form but will not attack you unless they see or hear you cast the spell. Casting the spell in sets a bounty of 500 gold if seen by NPCs who are hostile to werewolfs. Ideally the familiar familiar would have all the same purks as the player (Would need to be compatible with the Werewolf Perks Expanded mod.) and uses the same module as the player's beast form, (Would need to be compatible with Moon Light Tales Essentials.) neither of these parts are needed but Jinx would be willing throw in an extra hypnosis file if it can be done.
The spell tome would be bought from Phinis for a base cost of 6.500 gold after completing the conjuration ritual spell, it would take both hands to cast and take just as long as any other two handed spell, and would cost 650 magica to cast until the master conjuration perk is obtained which would cut it down to 325 though only one can be summoned at a time.

Posted 9 years ago Ya that this point that is all this is, just me being lazy. I will get all the files done before I go to sleep next time or refund the money. I would force myself to start this intent but my incredibly loud sister is in the next room yelling well playing video games.

Posted 9 years ago OK, so as you may know I got a new desktop and gave my sister my old laptop. Sadly this means I have to use my old external mic. It sounds OK (What it sounds like: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B.....Xl6aTM0YkVIQ0U ) but it hurts to hold for to long and I have no way to keep it on my desk. That and it could die any day now. My way of fixing this is simple; I will make all my files half off for the next 2 days then use all the money I get form that to buy a new mic.
And as someone will ask; if you start making the order well the sale is on you can have till 2 days after the sale ends to finalize what you want in your order and make the payment before you will have to pay full price.

After some cut rare nightmare I felt something climb onto me. Not quite biped, not quite quadruped. On all fours it was taller than most humans. I came from an angle just outside my field of view.
I am still shaken up... Desktop setup: 100%
Posted 9 years ago Yay! I have it 100% set up. All files moved, mic ready (Though I still want a new one.), programs installed, everything.
For those who want to know I set up my old laptop to look like Mac OS X and gave it to my sister. She seems happy with it. I did it again hu?...
Posted 9 years ago I bought a new game and suddenly the sun was up and now I am sleepy... I will do the files tomorrow for sure though. That or start giving refunds well still doing the work anyway.
And for those who wanted to know, the game is called HackMud. It's an MMO but it's really REALLY not like the others. Like not even a little bit. (For one thing it's text based.) You can get it but it has a steep learning curve and by the time the tutorial is over you will not be able to get a refund so think before you buy.
Also I know you all will want to be friends with a little panda on it, but in that game I can and will lie to you, cheat you, steal form you, and generally stab you in the back. As that is the whole point of that particular game. Finally back in the game.
Posted 9 years ago OK, I got all the needed files but one moved to my desktop, I got the retro gaming out of my system for now, and I gave my GPU a little trial by fire with XCOM and Skyrim. So I am back to making files now. In fact I just did one tonight but it's super late and I want sleep now.
Those who where waiting on files can not only look forward to getting said files tomorrow but a little more added in to make up for the wait time. I um... I am really lazy hu?
Posted 9 years ago I got about half of one of the files i need to do done... But my new computer can emulate GameCube games... I always get this way when I have a new toy.
