Thursday in the afternoon, and I'll be there till Monday!
Who will you be with?
Fixion
stealthwolf.imf
fraxon
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
The roomies and some other people possibly. If we got the same vibes then I'm down to hang of course!
Are there any panels you might be attending?
I'm sure there are some I'll want to stop by, though I can't think of any in particular atm.
Are you attending any stage or public performances?
Hmm, Karaoke or stand up if that's a thing?
Will you be suiting?
Yes!
Which suit(s) will you be bringing?
Good ol Fritz!
How old are you?
21
How tall are you?
6'4"
Can I talk to you?
Hell yeah, I'm down to talk about radical shit or anything really.
Can I touch you?
If you mean like in a positive inspirational way then maybe? o.o Hugs and stuff are fine, but ya aint gonna diddle me tho, that's a recipe for disaster.
How can I find you?
Tall guy, dark blondish hair, though I usually wear a baseball cap in reverse. Extremely German face -- I look serious and reserved but really i'm bubbly and innocent lol.
Can I visit your room?
mmm, unlikely. I don't think the roomies want that and there'll be nothing crazy going on in there lol.
Can I buy you drinks?
I guess, though I don't really want to get *drunk* drunk and I sure as hell want to see it being made (ain't got time to be roofied ya dig)

Fuck yeah, I love hugs. If I'm in suit, just do the motion and make sure I can see you. Out of suit too!
Are you nice?
Mmmm, I'm very conscious of how other people feel so in a certain way yeah. I don't want to subject people to any bad vibes that I wouldn't want myself. In terms of language though? I can be a bit crude, but it's rarely ever directed towards anyone in particular.
How long are you going?
Thursday - Monday
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Do a sweet dance to manatronix 1988, or you can just walk up and say hi!
Where will you be most of the time during the days?
Conspace most likely.
What/where will you be eating?
Somewhere cheap I hope
Can I come with you for food/fun etc?
I don't mind personally but my other friends might be a bit skeptical? We'll see how it goes!
Can I take your picture?
Why yes! I hope to take pictures of suits myself and if I'm in or out of suit, don't hesitate to ask.
What’s your goal for the con this year?
Try to have as much fun as I can before going back to school again I suppose. And I guess force myself to be more sociable lol.

Update rolling in!
General | Posted 8 years agoHaihai everyone, been a while since I wrote a journal here. Quite a few things have happened since my last one which was a few months ago, so I figured I'd spit all that juicy information out.
FWA was like a month ago and I never wrote a review journal for that, but to summarize -- it was pretty fun! I'd never been to a con that large before and seeing all the people and fursuits was pretty crazy; fursuiting was also quite fun there! It was hectic but I think I got 8-10 hours in suit or so, which was way more than I anticipated doing. I remember on the last night there were some kids running around hugging all the fluffs and it was hella cute for real. I also bought a shirt from HyenaAgenda and a commissioned a badge for my fursuit, Fritz, which I'm looking forward to getting soon. Hopefully I'll be able to go again next year :3
Last weekend I was at a one day event in Louisville Kentucky called the Menagerie. While it was really busy for me and I didn't get the chance to talk to everyone, I really enjoyed suiting there: gave out a ton of hugs and got a few photos of meself snapped (Everyone seemed to love Fritz!). I gotta say, the local events are almost my favorite still since I don't have to deal with trying to push myself to met a ton of new people. Really looking forward to going to it again next year!
I did get a new phone also! Was hiking a few weeks ago and my old smartphone done gone and died randomly, so it was interesting not having a phone for like 2 weeks again. Somewhat liberating to be honest: sometimes I feel being connected to the internet whenever and wherever has kind of eroded a sense of living in the moment and really appreciating things without immediately jumping onto social media and uploading pics and posts, but maybe I'm just old fashioned in that manner. The phone I got was the Onetech 3, which is a hugeeee improvement over the Cubot X9 I had earlier. Pics look way better and it runs much smoother (battery life could be a little better but it's still an improvement). Quite happy with it!
I also finished my Spring semester at the Uni which is definitely nice :3 It's so crazy to have free time again and not have anything in particular to do. My grades were really good and I made a lot of progress on my degree requirements which was definitely nice, though now I find myself looking for a job since the one I held last Summer is no longer available sadly. Really need to make some money to save up for a car, cons, and a future fursuit! I'm also thinking about going abroad next Summer, so that would definitely be important.
Hope everyone has been doing well otherwise! I plan on going to the Jacobson Park meet on June 3rd (also my 21st birthday!) and IFC in August, so I may see some of you there! Have a good Summer everyone!

Where are you staying?

Thursday evening and we're leaving early monday.
Who will you be rooming with?
stealthwolf.imf
Fixion
Fraxon
How is the best way to find you?
I'm pretty tall and skinny so I stand out a bit. Look for the German man haha. Also likely to be roaming around the con with the roomies.
Hugs?
Hell yeah! I'm pretty welcoming of hugs in and out of suit so don't be scared to ask! :3
Are there any parties you might be attending?
Pretty doubtful of that since I'm not huge on parties, but we'll see.
Will you be suiting?
Why yes! =3 Going to be debuting my suit of Fritz there! Very excited to finally be able to use him again after being stuck in a slog of school work for so long.
What is your gender/pronouns?
I'm a guy.
Can I talk to you?
Yesss, that would be nice: I love meeting new people! :3
Can I touch you?
What kind of a question is this? xD I mean, I guess you can poke me or something yeah but don't be like trying to molest me or anything crazy.
Can I visit your room?
Nooo, the room needs to stay chill. Maybe friends I already know decently but nothing less than that.
Can I buy you drinks?
I'm under 21 so you probably shouldn't haha xD
Can I give you stuff?
Sure? Nothing nasty tho!
Are you nice?
Yeah I would say so. I dislike confrontation really.
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Several ways!: gimme a poke, be talking about stuff I like, start yelling at me in German like Klaus Kinski, orrr you could just say hi.
What/where will you be eating?
I don't really know tbh, but if there are any good local places worth going to do tell.
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc.
If you're invited yeah, or if you're a good friend otherwise.
Can I take your picture?
Yesss, I really would like to get some pics of Fritz. If you snap me out of suit that's fine too lol.
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
To relax and have a break from an otherwise very busy school semester, to hopefully meet some people and just hang out with the friendos, and to suit around and be a wolf for a while!

Life update and whatnot
General | Posted 9 years agoHello everyone, been a while since I posted a thorough journal on here so I figured now would be a good time to state what's been going on as of late. So I haven't posted a journal since Fangcon, and in that time there's been a few things going on.
The biggest thing undoubtedly has been the fursuit I recently received. I attempted to keep it somewhat secret, but I couldn't help telling a few people and that may have been leaked slightly. Back in July, I decided I really wanted to commission a suit, and I noticed an auction for a neat realistic partial. I got bought out by the end but I messaged the maker and ended up getting a commission slot. Just last Monday, I received the suit in the mail (beware international fursuit shipping, it can take like a month lol). I have an unboxing video which I may link here in a bit at some point, and I also have a couple more pics and whatnot in storage at the moment -- I just don't want to flood my FA haha. I've worn the suit 3 times so far, once when I got it on Monday and then another time last Friday. It's really not as bad as I expected in terms of heat, since I was able to go two and a half hours on my third wearing at the Furstrike in Lexington KY last week. That was a quite fun event btw :3 I got my picture taken with some kid, and a few other people. Made me feel kinda happy that they enjoyed my fursuiting haha xD That night went by super fast in suit though. It was like a 4 hour long event and it didn't feel near that close. Anyhow! I've got a few events over the Summer during which I'll probably suit and hopefully at some of the local meets if the weather doesn't suck. Hoping I can give out plenty of hugs and get some pics taken of me lol.
Besides the suit, I had a pretty relaxing Christmas break in December and January. Was able to do a good amount of socializing with my school friends and I managed to attend some furmeets and other hangout with my fluffier friends. I always do enjoy a nice trip somewhere; seeing new places has always been relaxing for me in a certain way. For Christmas I got some nice PC equipment and some handy electronics, which were very appreciated and have been serving a useful role.
Right now I've been getting some pretty good work experience by working as a German tutor and a math tutor for the university. The jobs aren't too difficult, though having to wake up earlier to go to school has not been terribly enjoyable. I do certainly need the money at the moment, however, so I'm pretty thankful I have some easy going jobs to regenerate my back account (post Fangcon I was pretty broke tbh xD ).
I'm currently on my third week of school and this semester is looking to be a doozy. I've got a lot of upper level classes this time around, and since I need to catch up on certain coursework requirements, those classes have become more strenuous still. I think I'll be able to handle it, but school is going to be my primary focus at the moment. Currently pursuing a double degree in Geography and German, and I have a lot of classes I need to take, particularly since there's a heavier research emphasis taking place than I anticipated. On the plus side, things will be more chill in the fall so I'll have more time to devote to my hobbies and furry activities. To be honest, I'm probably going to end up going to grad school or law school in a few years. Before that, however, I want to try and enjoy plenty of memorable events with friends and see a lot of new places.
Well, that surmises what I had to say for now. Look forward to some more fursuit pics for the time being and maybe something silly if I can get my camera to work lol. I might try and commission more art at some point since I've been longing to do that for a while now. At any rate, I hope you all are doing alright!
Bawrk at you all later!

Fangcon 2016
General | Posted 9 years agoHello hello! I just got back from Fangcon on Sunday and whew, it was quite a con in my opinion! Despite the move from Knoxville to Birmingham and the simultaneous drop in attendance, this was the con I've enjoyed the most so far. The overall mood was very laid back and while there weren't a ton of people, the smaller size made it pretty easy to talk to a lot of people.
-Thursday-
Left Bowling Green around 12:45 pm with blue dragon. We wanted to go a bit earlier but since things can never be on time, I had to go to school to take a German test first. That wasn't too tough and I rushed home afterwards. The way down was pretty smooth, other than some minor traffic in Nashville and Birmingham. We arrived at like 5:30 pm if I'm remembering correctly and I met up with my roommates, Siku and Ghostmane. I went with them and Nullstrukt, Jason Miller (sharkman), and Edgewise to Target for some shopping which was pretty neat lol. After that I hung out with Ghostmane for a little bit, and eventually was out by the pool where a lot of people were socializing for a while. Went to bed after that around 1 am cause I was pretty beat!
-Friday-
I woke up at like 10 am or so. Ate breakfast at the hotel and went through the dealer's den with Blue looking at some of the various goods, and I bought myself an orange and black leather bracelet and a really funny sticker for my tote case. There were some really cool metal badges that got laser engraved, though I decided against commissioning one because I had commissioned a sweet badge from Jason M earlier. I wandered around for a while until the opening ceremonies at 3 pm, and then after that I went to go with Blue to get some pizza at Marco's before his DJ show after watching the fursuit games. After that I was in the game room for a while, saw Inu during the poker tournament, and ended up volunteering to watch it for an hour. I was feeling a little meh until the dance at 10 pm, but the dance really made me feel good again. I went way at for two hours during Blue and Nullstrukt's show -- I even got complimented for being into it haha. After that I headed off to bed cause I was pretty exhausted. My neck and back were pretty stiff by then.
-Saturday-
I woke up at like 11 am. Hung around for a bit in the morning until the fursuit parade: it was pretty quick but there were some cool suits around. Got like two pics with with em :3 Dunno whether I'll upload them here or not though. Afterwards I was just hanging around for a while at the pool and talked to some people about music and whatnot, I was honestly surprised that some other furries are so interested in classical rock and more experimental artists. Went to a fursuit repair panel hosted by Eddie bear at 5 pm. It was really quite handy to learn how to sew a seam together -- I'm sure i'll be using that skill in the future. I saw Rhubarb's "How to fire my bass teacher" show with Blue, and omg it was really good. After that I hung around in the game room for a while with blue, Inu, and Dragoon playing some games. A lot of people were watching mario 64 lol. Headed to bed around 2 am or so after getting some sushi from nearby.
-Sunday-
It was the last day of the con, but by this point I had gotten really into it haha. I went out to eat with Blue, Siku, Nullstrukt, Edgewise, and Jason M. It was pretty cool and after that I hung around the con space for a bit. Peaked around a few panels but overall it was a quiet day with casual chatting and what not. Left at like 8 pm after the closing ceremonies. Got home at like 1 am, though I had a nice long convo with Blue so the ride wasn't too bad. We saw someone treading one of their tires on the interstate and it was kinda spooky with all the sparks coming off.
Other than that, this weekend I've got the menagerie in Louisville which will be KY's mini-con. Super excited to see a lot of people at that! I've also got a surprise coming in December or January that I can't wait to show off. Hope everyone is doing well, thanks for reading =3

Fangcon tomorow
General | Posted 9 years agoThis is a bit short notice, but I'm heading down to Birmingham, AL for Fangcon tomorrow! Gonna be heading down with
bluedragon_019 Hope to see whoever else is going tomorrow!

General | Posted 9 years agoWell, how can I even start this really? Although it was only like 3 days, it felt like I was gone from Bowling Green for a week at least! Overall, it was a good experience, though I feel there are some points I should touch up on.
Fixion and I left BG in the afternoon, and it was a pretty chill drive to Indiana. We only got kinda caught up in Louisville traffic, but overall it was a pretty smooth ride up there. Indiana is a really different place compared to Kentucky! Much flatter and way less trees; I was kinda digging it to be honest. It did storm a few times while we were there, and those storms pretty much smashed through the place. There was definitely some flooding xD
As for the actual con, it was pretty good! I noticed that I'm a bit less shy than I was last year, cause this time I got a few selfies with some cool fursuiters. I got to chat with plenty of KYfurs and I feel pretty close to them now, they're all good people. I was rooming with
Fixion and
SikuWolfy , so we all hung out and ate at a few restaurants a few times. I did drop by a few panels, like how to host furmeets, furry feud, some of the Alkali and Uncle Kage stuff, and the fursuit games. I participated in the dice roll since I figured it'd be something different, and it was pretty fun even though I lost pretty badly lol. During the fursuit games, one suiter just randomly sat on my lap for a second and I found that highly entertaining xD I got a few pics from that which I'll upload later -- hopefully they're not too blurry, my phone is starting to show it's age in regards to the quality of the pictures it takes.
I do feel like there are a some things I could do better at. I'm used to small talk at this point, and don't mind asking a few general questions to people, but I feel like I need to befriend more people and actually connect with more furs if that makes sense? Like, I was on my own for a few hours each day and I would just wander around aimlessly not doing much during those times. I coulda definitely used that time better to meet some people. Especially when I got pics with suiters and stuff, I felt like I shoulda introduced myself better or so than just asking for a pic. It makes me feel kinda objectionable, and I don't want to come across like that. On Saturday, at one point, I was vaping outside somewhat solemnly and a guy talked me a bit about vapes and then started to get kinda close and cuddled me. I didn't really know how to feel about it, I mean, I felt hesitant to get close to anyone like that personally. He was kinda cute though >///> but anyhow! Hopefully I'll get more confidence by the time Fangcon rolls by. I'm kinda excited for it since it's a smaller con and there'll be more opportunities for connecting to people! I might also have a surprise!
So, tl;dr I enjoyed IFC, but I know I can still be a better person and more outgoing in the future! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for reading.

Fixion and I left BG in the afternoon, and it was a pretty chill drive to Indiana. We only got kinda caught up in Louisville traffic, but overall it was a pretty smooth ride up there. General | Posted 9 years agoStaying at:
The main hotel!
How are you traveling?
By means of land! aka car
Who are you rooming with?
Mr.
Fixion and mr.
SikuWolfy
Where will you be? How best to find me?
Probably roaming around the conspace most of the time. Look for the (maybe tall) guy in the Hard Rock Cafe hat! (and the solaire shirt for real tho)
Who will you be with?
Hard to tell at this point but Fixion and Siku for sure. Definitely down to meeting new people though!
Which suit(s) will you be bringing?
Haha, I wish. One day!
Do you do free art?
If you want stick people, surely!
What is your gender?
Imma boy
How old are you?
tenten! (20)
How tall are you?
6'3"
Can I talk to you?
I would welcome it :P Let's talk about memes...
Can I hug and/or snuggle you?
Hugs are nice! Should probably hold on snuggles though.
Are you nice?
I'd like to think so =3 I generally hold respect for people, though I can be harsh if needed (not likely here though).
Are you cliquey?
Nahh, I'm just myself!
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Start praising the sun (∩⸟ᗝ⸟)⊃━☆゚.* Or just talk about dank memes.
Are you fursuiting?
Not yet at this one! Hopefully sometime soon though.
Can I ask ya to dance with me during the dances?
I guess xD I don't really do anything special.
Can I buy you drinks?
Nahh
Do you attend parties?
Unlikely, but not impossible!
Can I take your picture?
If you don't mind random white guys in your pictures, sure! I'll try to make it fun at least :P
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
Meet people, have a general good time, and relax.

I'm still here!
General | Posted 9 years agoHello everyone! I know it's been a very long time since I've made an update on here, mainly because i've been so busy in the past few months.
The Spring semester in at WKU was pretty tough for me. I only took 12 hours worth of classes, but 7 of those were Honors Calculus 2 and Computer science I. Both of those classes were really difficult for me, and I kinda bombed Calc 2 since it all moved so fast. It was the first class I got a D in, but I'm not really mad at myself since it was meant for like, the smartest kids in the nation. I did a learn a lot, and I feel that, if i I took the class again, I would do pretty well in it.
Tomorrow will be a big KYfurs meet at Jacobson Park in Lexington, and I'm really excited for it. I enjoyed the last one in the May of 2015 a ton, and I'm betting that this one will be even better since more people have already signed up for it :3
Currently I'm working as a painter at WKU. I applied to that job in the Spring Semester, and I'm thankful that I was chosen over a couple other interviewees. I think that my experiencing during my eagle scout project got me the job, because my project involved painting an old hotel in Park City. Now i'll be able to informally save up a good amount of money for things I want in the future.
I've honestly been struggling to quit smoking still. I've gone on and off of cigarettes in the past few months, but I really want to be done with them and be able to truly breathe again. That's why I'm planning on getting an e-cig soon to wean me off of them. Smoking was a nice adventure when I was 18, but now it's pretty annoying to be addicted nicotine and such.
This Summer has been pretty great so far! Since I've been so busy with work, I don't really have time to get bored or lonely. I've also been having pretty packed weekends with furmeets and other stuff, it's been pretty great! I hope that the rest of my Summer vacation is like this, because if it is, It'll have been the most enjoyable Summer I've had in 3 or 4 years. Great to connect with people!
I think that summarizes what I've been doing over the past year. I didn't really delve into how I felt about everything, but that would be a bit too personal to write here. I hope that everyone who reads this is doing well, and may you all have a great Summer!

Fangcon journal/life stuff
General | Posted 10 years agoIt's been a hell of a long time since I last wrote a journal, and for that I apologize x.x Not too much furry stuff has been happening until this weekend, so I thought now would be the most pertinent time to actually write one of these things.
So, before I get into any con stuff, I should really mention some of the other things that have been going on in my life (which are partially why I'm not nearly as active on here anymore). I started college in August at WKU, and while I'm not at school for nearly as many hours, I sometimes have to study and spend way more time on homework out of school. So that coupled with my tendency to procrastinate on things means I'm barely keeping on track. Plus with the university, I have to do way more stuff on my own time, so i'm not home until 8 pm sometimes. Next year I'm definitely gonna cut back a bit so i can spend more time here and focus on other classes.
But college is definitely not all bad. I really am enjoying my math class, but I'm into that kinda of stuff. And I can definitely tell my German has improved in the past few months in my Business German class. The social part is wayyy different though. Everyone is a lot nicer in my opinion, but since there's barely any cliques, everyone is quiet as hell. It gets really awkward at times lol.
Also, I'm barely on Skype anymore, since a lot of the group chats I was in died out. I mostly use Steam now, since i only talk to a few people really regularly and play video games with them.
Okay! Anyhow, on to the main thing I actually wanted to reflect on. I was at Fangcon this past weekend
(I know I never mentioned I was going, just have been too lazy/busy to write a journal here earlier), but it was awesome!
Fixion and I got there around 8 pm on Friday, and we were mostly in the game room that night. There was a very long game of Cards against and Humanity that got pretty intense, even for me. It ended at like 2 am or something, so I was pretty beat and ready to sleep by then.
Saturday was the whole day that we spent at the con. I won't go totally into detail, but here are the highlights. I was able to talk to
Iiiix a bit more and all the BGfurs got better acquainted I suppose, which was great! Also got a few pics of fursuiters and parade stuff which i'll upload in a few days for sure! There were a ton of very good artists at the dealer's den this year, and I really wish I had brought more money with me to actually get something, but it was still great to see it all! One of the best things about the con though, was when I was able to rent a partial fursuit (he was called Aisling) from
blasterblurby and fursuit for a good 90 minutes. It's really hard to describe how it feels for the first time. A little hot, yeah, and I should've probably had contacts instead of glasses on, but it was so euphoric. It was really easy to change the way I acted, much to my surprise. I think I feel a lot more comfortable ordering a personal suit in the future now that I know what it's like a little bit. So many social boundaries that I had always thought existed were eliminated just like that! I got a lot of complements, which made me kinda blush under the fursuit head since I'm not used to hearing that kind of stuff >//> I honestly had no idea what I looked like until I saw some of the pictures later, so I was really amazed by it! It definitely has reinvigorated my desire to have a personal suit, so I'm going to try and take some steps to expedite that process. Other highlights would be the dance at the end of the day. That was really intense, so I was really in the zone there! After that, I hung out with some of my friends in their hotel room. It was definitely a good ending to the night!
Sunday I woke up a little bit later since I'd been going to bed late for the past week. Fixion and I had to check out around 11 am, but we did stay until like 7 pm. The day started off a bit slow, and we were playing in the game room until we went out to eat at like 2 pm. After that there were the closing ceremonies, which were pretty hilarious. I got some good pictures that day too, and a ton of footage from the fursuit games. We did leave a little later at like 7pm, but the trip back was smooth and we gained an hour.
One thing I didn't do during this con though was go to any panels. Apparently like every time I was in the game room or was out going to eat, there was something going on. I'm not upset about it, since that honestly just gives me another thing to look forward to for later. Another thing I needed to do more of was take some more photos/videos from the con. I'll be keeping that in mind for next time.
I did meet a few people, which was definitely nice! I've probably memorized a lot more badge names and faces than actual names though xD It'll still be handy for whatever con I'm going to head over to next.
I can say that I didn't have too much PCD, and that kinda surprised me. I got everything down that I absolutely wanted to do there, and that left me feeling a bit more optimistic and energized! I also immediately had to to get back to school work on Monday x.x, so I didn't really have time to think about missing the con or anything.
I guess the biggest adjustment I'm going to make to my future plans is that I'm going to try and look a lot harder for a job. I spent a lot of money on the weekend, but it was really worth it, and I want to do it more often!
I think that's about all I have to say atm. I'm probably going to upload some pics and *maybe* some videos if they're of decent enough quality. At any rate, I'll probably write another journal in a month or two describing my situation/thoughts/plans then.
TL;DR Fangcon was cool and I'm feeling pretty optimistic if busy.

A few changes coming up
General | Posted 10 years agoThought it would be appropriate to throw up another journal so my page doesn't seem dead, and of course, since a few important things have happened/are coming up.
Yesterday I was at the Jacobson Park meet in Lexington and that was quite enjoyable. I was fortunate enough to meet some of the other Kyfurs that I would never see in Bowling Green, while also being able to connect a little bit more with some people that I was already acquainted with. Honestly wish that I were a little less shy, but I think that's something I'll be able to work out with time. Also got a pic with
Jaru so I can at least say I have one picture with a fursuiter hehe. Will be glad to head over to Lexington for whatever comes next!
This week I have to go to high school for three more days, but then I'll finally be done with it and on my way to college. It's very likely that I'll be entering college as a sophomore, which means I only have to stay in Bowling Green for 3 more years (this place might be home, but it's boring to be honest). Really looking forward to some different subjects, but I think I already hit this topic a couple times, so I'm not going to spout out much about it :p
Since I'll be done with school, there's the inevitability of being bored over Summer for me. I'm kinda worried about this, since I'm not exactly the most social person in the world. I will likely try to look for an actual job. With that I'll be occupied and able to slowly save up for my fursuit! Would be amazing if I could commission that and have my own car by next year. I'd feel pretty accomplished then. I'm trying to quit smoking now, so I have an e-cig for the moment. It's gonna be rough, but I have more determination to do it this time.
I also have a ton of stuff I need to upload to FA. Lots of gift art, photos, and what not, but I find it good to log everything online at least. Probably need to get a commission sometime soon too, I'm a bit of an easy sell when it comes to nice art haha.
On a final note, this is purely something personal and slightly more idealistic, but it seems like every year there's been a different sort of vibe in my life overall. It's not easy to exactly put it into words, and it might even only be what's happening in my life at the moment; yet I can vouch that I truly feel a lot older compared to two years ago or so (the feel might just be me getting older really). I do run into some of the same anxiety issues; however; with the perspective that I have now I can usually get past them somewhat quicker. To be totally honest, I'm very curious as to what things will be like about five years in the future or so, since I have no clue. It really does help to have legit friends in the fandom though (and outside it too definitely).
Take care everyone!

It really does help to have legit friends in the fandom though (and outside it too definitely).
Take care everyone!

Spring Break!/ Update
General | Posted 11 years agoHey everyone, dropping by to make a few updates on current state of affairs.
For one, I'm on Spring Break now, which is very nice. School has been getting a bit stressful since I was on a pretty long stretch of it since February. I can now take the time to just play some video games and hang out with people/ work on earning a few extra dollars. Only about 7 more weeks after this week and I'll be done with high school for good! Very excited for that time!
I already signed up for classes at WKU and I'm going to be taking some Calculus, Chemistry, Geology, and a Music appreciation gen ed class. Pretty much have an exploratory major with an interest in science at this point, but I think it'll be fun to look at some subjects I couldn't get into in high school. My whole first year will just be exploring stuff that I want to expand on or just learn in general. Nice thing is I have a lot less time that I have to spend in school compared to high school, so I'll be all over that.
Pretty pleased with how my social life has been in all honesty. Met a couple cool new people this year, and for once my skype has a tendency of randomly blowing up with messages, which I very much do enjoy xD Probably going to try and head to a further away meet next month in Lexington if I'm able to, since the people up there are pretty cool.
As for work, I haven't started looking yet because I want to kill high school off my list first and not have to worry about academic stuff for a while. This means the car, fursuit, and other stuff will have to wait a bit but I'd rather save myself the stress to be honest. I'll be sticking with my parents for the next year so I have time to build myself up some money!
And my smoking habit, let me not forget that. I'm at around the same number of cigs, but I have switched to lighter ones so i'm not totally roasting my insides out as much. My plan is still to quit by my birthday even if it means switching to an e-cig or vape.
That's all I can think of. Thanks if you read this, and if not, take care anyhow!

My Year so far...
General | Posted 11 years agoAlright, so I thought it would be prudent for me to reflect on how 2015 has been going for me, and how well I have held up some of my resolutions. Also, I noticed that I've gotten a fair few new watchers, nice to meet you all! Feel free to throw me a note to chat whenever!
So far this year has been very busy for me in terms of schoolwork (yuck!), but also being social, which has made me feel MUCH better compared to how I felt around this time last year. All my weekends have been full of things to do, and I've even had some busy and fun weekdays after school! It's been so great to be busy by having fun! I've even been to three furry events other than the Bowling Green meets this year: A furbowl in Cincinnati-- though it was kind of strange since I literally didn't know anyone there and my social skills are still not quite as astute as I'd like them to be, another in Lexington -- which was a bit better since I kind of know the KYfurs and was able to say hi to a few, and I hung out with
Fenris_The_Firecat in Louisville on Saturday. My goal is to keep all my weekends busy with some social activity so that I can avoid being depressed.
Unfortunately, one thing that has been a bit more difficult is quitting smoking. Today I relapsed and bought some cigarettes (albeit American spirits without additives). I never imagined that it could be so difficult to quit this bad habit; the cravings can be very terrible, like one of the worst feelings ever honestly x.x But on the bright side, I was able to hold out for nearly two weeks now, and I think after this pack I'll be able to either go longer without cigs or maybe even finally quit!
Monetary wise, I've been at about the same point pretty much. I had to spend a lot of money on traveling around to get to all those places listed earlier, but at the same time, I've made that money back through oddjobs and stuff, which worked out pretty well. Considering that I'm not taking any long trips soon, I should be getting some more money soon then!
My exercising has gone pretty well! Currently I'm doing about 40 push ups, which are way more than I've ever been able to do in my life, however, my goal is to get up to 50 in one set so my arms and shoulders can look a bit more pronounced. It does feel great to finally have some strength!
Socially, I think I'm a bit more gregarious, as I'm willing to at least introduce myself and say hi! For me this is a hell of a lot better since I remember being superrrrr shy two years ago xD I still have a long way to go though! My goal is to become a regularly social, and dare I say extroverted person by the end of May?! Hoping I can do it!
What else is there to say... I guess I'm starting to consider majoring in engineering or math when I get to college, because I really love those kinds of subjects. The logic in math has always been so cool to me! But I may also choose to go into a more scientific route; it really depends on what kind of job I could get when I get out of college.
Well, I think that's everything I wanted to spit out into this journal. I hope everyone is doing well! Let's all make this a good 2015!

Goals for 2015
General | Posted 11 years agoAlright, I've been doing some contemplating and I've made a couple of goals that I would like to accomplish this year -- furry related and just in general.
1. I really need to graduate High School. It's not that it's really bad or anything, but it's a ton of work and honestly I'm pretty ready to move onto the next stage of my life.
2. Going to start college and head to WKU to major in something. I'm not too sure what I want to do yet, but I would like to do something interesting and get a degree at least. Really pumped for the college life!
3. I'd like to attend some more furmeets, both in and out of Kentucky. I went to a bowling meet in Cincinnati this past Sunday and it's really made me want to get out and meet some more cool furries. Also, I *would* like to try and attend my first convention this year, but I'm not sure how possible that is without a car to travel in or a job for enough money.
4. Planning on running around looking for work after I get out of High school. I'll still stick around with my parents for the first year of college, so I'm figuring that would be a good time to save up for some stuff before I get mowed down by bills.
5. Would like to save up for a car this year. Really need to get that job to do so, but it would be infinitely convenient to have one at this point. Just gotta find something that works, even if it is a bit older.
6. I need to quit freaking smoking! One of my best friends literally posted on twitter for me to stop (in a NICE way), and I hate having to fork over so much money for death sticks. Will try to cut it cold turkey by next week! Also, I'll be able to save up way more without having a weekly $6+ leech in my wallet.
7. I've been pretty committed to getting into shape since late December. It would be very silly for me to be eighteen and out of shape when I'm entering the prime of my life! So far this has gone pretty well, already noticing that I'm getting bulkier! ^w^
8. Want to start saving up for my future wolf suit. Don't think I'll be getting him this year, as I still need to save up wayyy more and I haven't even decided who to commission him from yet. I know he's going to be expensive as hell with all his colors and little designs x.x I might assemble a small partial side character in the meantime though...
9. I believe that developing a couple extra side hobbies would be very nice. Honestly, I feel like that my personality is a bit dry (other than my awesome jokes) and I don't really have any passions in life yet. Might pick up the guitar or start practicing on more drawing.
10. I still want to break out of my shell more. Online I'm pretty good now all things considered, but I really would like to get out of the house more still and do fun stuff. Gotta be more assertive!
11. And my last goal is to keep being as social as I have this January (literally the first time all my weekends have been with friends ever in my life), and to make more furry friends-- well, just friends honestly, whether it be online or irl at a meet! I've enjoyed the acquaintanceship of every person I've met so far!
Yup, that's pretty much the main stuff I need to hit the nail on this year. I'm thinking it should go pretty well!

Happy Holidays/ Update
General | Posted 11 years agoHello everyone! I'm here to wish you all a safe and happy Holiday this year!
Also, I'm writing this journal to give a small update in my life. I'm out of school for the rest of this week and all of next week, so I'll be taking some time to check all my internet stuff and play some video games for once!
Right now I'm kind of in Hermit mode honestly, and I'm sort of drifting around and just going with the flow atm. I tend to do this often when I'm on break, as it's part of my personality kind of haha. Really, the only thing that bugs me is being very bored (come chat with me!)
I think I may commission another artist still, but then I'll take a break for a while; my wallet is starting to get a little thin. Also, I'm planning to save up for some "bigger things" in the future, which may be relatively soon!

Hey Everyone/ Update
General | Posted 11 years agoMan, it's already been a long time since I last posted a journal!
Anyways, how is everyone doing? Noticed I get a few new watchers in the past
few months and I just wanted to extend the opportunity to say hello and such.
I've been doing pretty well myself for once haha. Social connectivity is much better
now than it has been in a longggg time. Love talking to people! Also trying to get
some more new commissions for good old Future (god knows I need more haha).
School has been pretty good overall, just wish I had straight As instead of two annoying Bs
blemishing my GPA ugh. I'm a real butt when it comes to bad grades honestly. Taking 4
AP classes was probably overdoing it a bit this year-- now that I think about it x.x
Not too much going on for me other than that I s'ppose. Thanksgiving break is coming up
next week, which I am definitely looking forward to! Also been playing video games a bit more
again, since it has been easily over 3 years since I've really done much gaming.
So yeah, that's my little update I guess haha. Looking forward to hearing from anyone!

Back to the old grind
General | Posted 11 years agoSo after today I've started school again, this time being the last year in high school. My classes all seem pretty interesting for once which is a plus (since I'm done with all the required crap finally), only downside is I don't quite as many classes with friends. Also the fact that I'll be done with this place in a year is pretty sweet to think about. College seems like a pretty chill place. Overall, things are going pretty good for me I guess! Only way to go now is uphill!
Owo
General | Posted 11 years agoWell, I just got my AP scores back, and apparently this is how it follows:
English Language & Composition 4
Government & Politics: US 4
Physics B 2
I'm a little sad that I didn't pass Physics, but then again I didn't really think I would. I was never really getting what was going on in that class lol. English I got what I thought I would pretty much, same with Gov. Overall I'm pretty glad that I'll still be getting something out of all of this!

General | Posted 11 years agoSo a bit of stuff is happening in my life at the moment. I turned 18 a few days ago; so yay for that I guess, though it does seem like I actually feel a little old now OwO. It's also been Summer break for like, 1 week and a half now and I'm already pretty bored haha. I've been trying to get a job to kill the time and make some money, but I'm not really having any luck with that so far. It's kind of weird not being in school, since I went from having a ton of work and stressful projects to having nothing to do at all. I'm not good with these kinds of changes :/
I also feel like I haven't used this site in quite a while, so I'll try to do some house keeping of my profile within the next few weeks per say. Just to keep everything nice and neat looking at least!
