I know a while ago we'd tried to do a contest, but it didn't seem like many people were very interested in actually doing it.
Maybe if you guys wanted to do a halloween contest I can set that up, but I'd really like to have more than just one entry this time if we're really gonna do it.

Wow we've sure been inactive for a while

Well to be completely honest not much is going on in the fandom aside from the new deer troll character and any paradox space updates.
I'd love to have more discussions or have some sort of feature of the week thing, but I don't have many ideas about that
I guess we could talk about patron trolls or something but I haven't the slightest clue
Perhaps if enough people are willing or interested, I could create a group chat on Skype or something
But if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

Posted 11 years agoGosh I can probably speak for both of us admins here when i say this quarter has been really rough. I'm certainly busy with a LOT of projects haha
Just wanted to to announce this page has made a lot of progress! I'm really excited we've got over 100 watchers now, its awesome!
I'm going to try and come up with a topic every so often for a journal so we can start up a little discussion or something. That way the page is more active. They'll probably be very general ideas or subjects.
So this week's discussion topic is:
COSPLAYING!!

Posted 11 years agoFirst off I'd like to say happy 4/13 to everyone! Hussie surprised everyone with news of a new website dedicated to Homestuck comics that can be about anyone at any time called Paradox Space.
Paradox Space will feature many short comic stories involving literally any characters and settings from Homestuck. Any point in canon could be visited and elaborated on, whether it's backstory, some scenes that were skipped over or alluded to, funny hypothetical scenarios which have nothing to do with canon events, or exploring things that could have happened in canon through the "doomed timeline" mechanic that is a defining trait of Homestuck's multiverse-continuum known as "paradox space". There is a WHOLE LOT of fun stuff we can do here; and we will!
So what do you all think about this? What kind of comics are you looking forward to seeing? There are a lot of talented people in this group, are any of you thinking of contributing to the site?

Artwork Guidelines
Something to celebrate 4/13! This can mean anything!
> Artwork can be executed in any medium (3D, traditional, digital, etc.) Even cosplay counts! Be creative!
> PLEASE KEEP IT SFW!!! That means no nudity, (extreme) violence, or anything sexually explicit (kissing is fine)
Art will be judged on craftsmanship and creativity, so don’t be afraid to do something you’ve never tried before!!
(It is preferred that you create a new piece for this contest as opposed to using something you’ve already created. This can factor into how you’re being judged, so please keep this in mind)
Submission Guidelines
All submissions should be sent VIA note to the furstuck page in order to be submitted into the contest.
Heres how you do it:

In your message, please include a link to the file you’d like to enter, along with a description and a title for the piece. It could look something like this

With the upcoming date of April 13th right around the corner, we here at furstuck have decided to hold a contest in order to both celebrate the day, and to celebrate the influx in watchers we've been getting.
The contest details won't be released until 4/13, but we thought it'd be a great idea to give everyone a heads up!
Now onto the matter of prizes…
First prize will be:
A pair of cosplay Karkat horns (made by)
And an additional custom drawing of your choice that will be sent along with the horns when shipped (don't worry, we'll take care of shipping costs!) also made by potatocoyote
Second prize will be:
A custom drawing of your choice (this will be done digitally by potatocoyote)
Third prize will be:
A drawing of a homestuck character of your choice (made digitally by potatocoyote)
Those who win first prize must be able to provide their address, as it would be very hard to mail a prize to them if we weren't sure where to send it. Unfortunately we are also limited to anyone in the US at the moment. Hopefully this will change in the future.
