But all suckiness aside, i have to say, it was a great year for me art-wise ^_^;; I think i posted around 60 new pieces in 2020, compared to 26 in 2019, 34 in 2018, 16 in 2017, and around 10 in 2016.

January has turned into something of an unplanned sabbatical for me, a sort of winter hibernation to recharge the batteries. I have about 5 more commissions to work through, and then i'll have to see what i want to do. I'd like to get into more digital linework and coloring, explore that to see if it can help me quicken the next big work i wanna do.

So, about a week and a half ago one night i suddenly had hearing problems with my right ear (still stone deaf in the left). Pressure, metallic ringing from sounds, muffled. Saw my doctor the next day and got a couple meds, and set up an appointment with a specialist. Due to paperwork errors, that appointment was pushed off until today.

My hearing has cleared up since then, but I did suffer a permanent loss of hearing in the upper registers, consistent with the type suffered by much older age groups.

That this happened almost to the month of when this happened to me eleven years ago...sigh, at least it didn't take all my hearing.

So, how do you usually view furry sites like this? On your phone, pad, or 'puter? And how do you tend to save and, um, 'review' what you've saved? Just curious as there's so many ways now :)

I tend to use my desktop computer for most browsing and viewing, and my phone for comment browsing. If I didn't have to hook my phone to my desktop and open and copy files, I'd probably use my phone for a lot more image browsing and saving. (....I cant believe I'm as lazy as that ^_^;;; )

Ah, I was so happy the weather cleared up over the weekend. Got depression chores out of the way (laundry, cleaning, kitchen), and have been working on art this week. Nothing much else to report!

Sorry, I just need to vent. I hate to come off as.. this.. but gah.

My art output has really slowed down the last two months, and i think it's the change of weather.

It used to be that weather didn't affect my neurological condition that much. I might've felt a little different, but meh, a little suck on top of massive suck didn't matter much.

However, at the beginning of this year, we had /massive/ rain systems for weeks on end. I mean, like, the year's average had been met in the first couple months. I think that onslaught triggered my current sensitivity to such weather systems.

Now, with rapid changes in atmospheric pressure and humidity, my noodle nosedives. My headache gets worse, the tinnitus gets more scriggly and painful, and i'm generally (even more!) muddle headed and off balance.

Sigh. I'm so fucking depressed. Having a decade long headache etc is just.. fuck.

Hah. Can you guess it's raining today?

So, we've had to get some repairs done around the townhouse, and as a result, the contents of my closet and bedroom are strewn across my floor, bed, and drawing table. I'm still AFK (this RL thing is tedious!), but in the meantime..!

I like to own what i use, so i switched from my old ass PS to Clip Studio Pro. It has some nice features, but lacks others. The painting in it is ok, but it takes a long time to save if you're working in hi res. The 3D modeling is ok, but it only has the one window, making it really hard to pose multiple character/on plane.

So, to any visually artistically inclined furs reading, what do you use, and why? Many thanks for sharing! :)

So, part of my heart is a bit larger than it should be for my age. Nothing that's an emergency yet, but i'll be going in for more testing in 3 and 6 months, with some changes to meds, and things like no sudden or heavy lifting.
