I'm putting up a commission slot, first come first serve. $35 for single character, $45 for two character in my current style. Those who know my work know what i'll do and what i'll probably not do. :)

As it says in the title, my left paw is working again! :D I've got full movement back; all i need now is to work on getting some strengthen training for it.

Anyhow, thought i'd share some good news on this end :)

At the homestead for a week, so won't be posting any art.

On the plus side, my left paw has started moving again, hooray! :D

So with my dad dying in January, and me injuring my left paw a couple months later, and then me injuring the same paw /again/, it's caused some poor eating on my part. I've gone from 160 lbs at the start of the year to 129.8 lbs today, with a BMI of 18.6. It's a pattern i can't seen to break, and i'm really hoping therapy can break this habit. Anyway, i just needed somewhere to vent, so thanks for listening.

Yipyap all! I figured i might try auctioning off some of my sketches to get a grasp as to how i'm doing ^_^

I made it through all my FA submissions! :D

The next goal on my list is to catch back up on the backlog of art i have on FA. Currently, i have 16.8k submissions to work through x.X so, that's going to take me a little while.

So not long after i wrote my last journal, i dozed off at my desk again.

And again, i damaged my left paw. Unable to move it, etc.

I am so embarrassed/pissed off at myself/depressed i can't express it.

Sorry for letting y'all down with that last post. Universe is just laughing at me.

So i've regained full motion on my left paw! :D Now i'm just left w exercising it, as muscles atrophy quickly(!) and i'm basically working them back up from zero. I've been in physical therapy for that, and today was my last day in the clinic. Now i'm just left w home exercising to regain strength in that paw, so that's really nice progress ^_^

As for my depression, we're working on changing up my meds, and i'm going through some treatments and therapy for it, so hopefully we'll see some results in the not to far future for that ^_^;

Anyhow, that's where i am with those issues, just thought i'd keep y'all updated :)

So you may have noticed i've been posting more of other people's artwork than my own. Well, this is from a couple things. One, due to my personal life being the way it has lately, my own artwork has slowed down to nothing. Two, i like to showcase other's work when i can, and help spread the word about them if they're a lesser known artist. This way, there's at least some art in my gallery to show off ^_^

So I dunno how FA is about RL stuff in galleries, so i figured i'd go ahead and try posting this in journals.

A few weeks ago i went ahead and got my first tattoo! The artwork is by the talented  artonis , of my first OC, Sedary:

So that was interesting.

The first test they used three pads that they switched positions on my hand, and used a two-pronged hand held device to press against my forearm. When activated, it sent an electrical current that twitched my muscles and fingers. They ran that a number of times, then sent me off to the next.

The next was fun. This is where the needle came out. It got stuck in all the little muscles of my forearm, a number of places in the palm of my thumb muscle, bicep, triceps, shoulder muscles; it's like he was trying to find a place to stick the needle and no place in my arm was good enough! Meanwhile a staticky noise was going on, getting weaker and stronger depending where he stuck it.

In the end, i was told that i had a good prospect that the nerve would heal up completely. The main factor would be that time is going to be my friend in this, and that i should continue with the physical therapy.

So, that's it. I'm mostly going to have to wait this thing out.

Aaarrgghhhhh.

So i started physical therapy this past tuesday for my left paw. (I've already seen a little improvement in range of motion and grip strength, but overall it's still fairly challenging in day-to-day use. Like, i still can't type with it, or put on fitted sheets. Gonna hafta ask Nesil to help trim my nails ^_^;) Basically we're working to improve range of motion and grip strength through a series of exercises done in therapy sessions and at home. I also have an EMG scan scheduled on the 24th to see how the nerve is fairing.

Anyhow, just wanted to drop a line letting y'all know how that is fairing! Take care of yourselves!

So i fell asleep at my desk last Wed and woke up to not being able to fully move or use my left hand D: Seems i slept in a funky position and really gimped it up.

I just got back from my neurologist, and in layman's terms, i have Saturday Night Palsy, coined from people drinking or whatnot to excess and falling asleep in bad positions causing this condition.

Fortunately, it should clear up on its own....in two to four months >_< Till then, it's like i have a dead fish attached to my left arm :(

This year has just been fantastic.

So I'm finally back home for a little bit, just for under a week. Gives me a little while to catch my breath before i go back to my folks....well, i guess folk at this point...and finish up all the paperwork and whatnot that is left. Sure left a mess when he left. But nothing we can't handle. Just takes time and effort. Le sigh.

Dad passed away this morning.

So holy hell it's been busy here. I spent so much time jumping throught the various hoops insurance companies wanted that at one point I was just dreaming of being on the phone with them while asleep.

But my dad had his operation on his pelvis this past Monday, and was transferred to a rehab facility some days later. He's recovering all right, and we're hoping that trend continues.

On Thursday, he hit a garbage truck, flipped, then was hit by another car.

He suffered a fractured pelvis, six fractured ribs, and a fractured C7 vertebra. He crashed twice in the hospital before they were able to stabilize him. They're currently waiting a couple days for his condition to settle before operating on the pelvis.

I'm at my parent's place now helping take care of things; I don't know how long all this will take. But needless to say I'll be quiet on updates for some time.

I decided to dabble in s'more things for Etsy, this time being leather wallets. Only a couple though to make sure there's any interest ^_^
