If You're Going To MFF...
Posted 18 years ago...then have fun! Me, I won't be there, even though it's the "final send-off" of the hotel it's been held in for years (Next MFF's gonna be in some new hotel.). I don't have days off, between working 2 jobs, STILL working on commissions that I've been owing people for far too long (if I owe you, sorry for the wait, I'm never online anymore), and FINALLY getting ready for some actual tattooing prospects, so you know I simply HAVE to prioritize. Besides, while I will still do cons in the future, I won't be doing as many. For example, in 2008, I'm only going to FWA and Anthrocon, and even then, I can say that I will be dealing only at AC. I want to spend FWA away from a table for a change, saying hello to people, and furthermore, going out into the city I used to call home. It's been a while. AC on the other hand, will be my usual con-thing, sitting there and slinging eye-candy, though by that time I hope to be doing something other than on-the-spot commissions. What, you might ask? Well, we'll just have to see if I can pull it off in time.
Anyway, to those about to go to MFF in Chi-Town, do drive/fly safely, and have a good time. With a little luck I should be at the next year's. Later on, y'all.

Posted 18 years agoBack from FurFright, which went really awesomely! Such a relaxed convention, and with so many friends I don't often get to see. I made sure to pace myself so I would actually have time to chill with 'em this year, so all was good. I'll go more into that in the next post.

I found this while checking my stats page on JurassicBeauties.com... and my jaw dropped. Now I can't see the actual page, because I'm not IN MySpace, and therefore can't log in to see the full profile, nor will I join just to see. So, to anyone who's already IN MySpace, someone please send me some screencaps so I can at least see if it's in character.
I can't help but wonder what Tyra's doing in Maryland. And just who the hell's Zero? XD
I'm half tempted to go searching around to see if the rest of the JB's are out there clogging the tubes.

Posted 18 years agoWell, finally got around to writing up the 2007 Anthrocon Report, and I can't help but feel that I should've written it sooner, because I'm probably leaving some of the awesome out. Anyway, read about it HERE.

Posted 18 years agoTomorrow, the 4th, the last few badge preorders will be completed, and packing and luggage prepped for the drive to Anthrocon. scullyraptor and I will be heading out to Pittsburgh early Thursday.
To anyone going, stop by and say howdy, flip through my book of scribbles, and snag a print or two. Who to look for, you ask? See here.
I don't really have any set rules of etiquette, other than be cool and be treated cool in return. I'll probably be blasting some music as always, and trying to balance productivity with conversation while nodding my head, so please don't get worried if I go "ok, it's time for me to get back to work!" Oh, depending on how busy things get, I might attend the dance, time will tell.

And for you geniuses who thought it, let me make it official... NO, it's not gonna become a paysite. It's still gonna be free. ^_^
