I'm all for getting feedback from my customers, I like to know they're happy with their purchase or how I can improve.

However, Paypal may also trying to play gatcha with some accounts as right now we are going through a puritanical purging of NSFW material. It will pass, as internet commerce was built on discreet NSFW transactions. The coding for all payment processing on the internet came from the porn industry pioneering encryption of payment information.

It may also be data scraping as customer information spreadsheets can sell for millions of dollars. Let's just say if you ever find one of these customer data sheets selling for $52,000, you're practically getting a five finger discount on it. I was listening to one Youtuber scoff at another Youtuber whining that he didn't want to pay $52,000 for one.

Here are some helpful options to customers that are also friendly for the artists you may commission. Feel free to copy and paste.

This year certainly started and ended with severe downs for me with the middle of the year being a very high point with a job.

Job hunting did not go well.

I will be losing the apartment by the end of December. While I will be moving in with family, there is no way I will be able to continue with commissions as there will be no privacy.

I was fired because the company can't afford the cost of business.

Technical term: Laid off due to lack of work; end of season.

So, commissions are open in earnest. I'll file for unemployment, and like every other time, I'll have a job before the first check kicks in.

Last time took me three weeks to land this last job.

So you have at least three weeks to snag me for commissions.

(Unless I get snagged up by a competitor. Seems I may have acquired the reputation around Las Vegas' HVAC industry~)

I'm open. I don't get too much traffic, but I do take a couple of months on commissions.

There are people who really want to get something from me. Know that I'm open. It's gonna take some time because I work 10 to 12 hours a day and on call weekends.

Either you want what I draw or your want some else's art.

I'm not e-begging because I have a low account. My bank account is fine. I plan ahead. I'm working on building up an emergency reserve (maybe a commission or two).

Anyone I commissioned, I love the piece you made, but I'm terrible at logging on these days, and even worse at posting the pieces I've purchases. I just make them my background on my computer screens.

On topic: working on two commissions at present. I'm keeping my prices low because the long turn around time, and I ONLY charge once you get the inks. About halfway through the process.

I have had many "customers" ghost me and not pay up when payment is due. Know that I will drop the project and just keep the file.

You either want it or you don't. Non response or excuses for non payment are the same thing.

I do entirely too much research into my hobbies. I know the kind of people Dragoneer surrounded himself with, and what he said to defend them.

If you ask how can I be so selfish? Simple: I never knew Dragoneer. I used this site while it existed, but everything dies. That is the rule of nature.

Mine are: This site was left to languish, and Dragoneer should have focused on taking better care of himself first, instead of a site that already was being passed around by investment capital brokers.

This site was not worth his health, and I don't even care about him. How can I? I never knew him.

This site could have been redone if it went under and he focused on himself. People aren't replaceable, expendable, and disposable. Websites and business are.

I'm 36.

I effectively have three years left, per my own timeline. Consider me retired from the furry game.

I'm gonna crunch some numbers, and that's going to mean an increase in commissions prices. I just make too much money with my day job now to throw on furry art now.

Money talks and people aren't busting down my door for art, which means there's not a demand for my style. That's my problem, and no one else's. Now I make a good income from my day job and I can ignore commissions. It's just how life rolls.

There are some people who know they can hit me up for special jobs and there's everyone else.

Peace to everyone, but Las Vegas did right by me (as I knew it would by playing the number's game).

This is just a reminder. If there's anyone out there who is really into my art but can't afford my prices, feed all my art to AI and get you a piece for free. I won't be mad. I might ask your for a link to the piece for curiosity's sake. $10 says it does my style better than I do. Bahahahaha!
