I'm likely going to be slowly renaming/reforming this monthly routine of stream-comms I do to be a bit more focused than freeform, as no matter what I find it hard to stop myself from going a little overboard or a little extra with each one, taking up some time in the day depending on the request >v< 💦 Bad habit of mine that's great for the recipients, but less so my workflow- and I'd love to be able to offer more / crank out slots more reliably, especially since I want to try and also slowly be able to offer these on the weekly instead of just monthly.

On my usual couple-days grind of needing to whisk away the monthly bills, so I'll be live all evening with a handful of slots available to nab in-stream

My schedule is a little funky at the moment and I am a tad sick, fam had covid over the holidays and it likely is nesting silently in me, so I'll likely be starting later in the days but going much later into the evening. Shoutouts to all the Australians I know I guess heheh

I'll most assuredly be going again tomorrow if anyone misses the mark today; and will see about squeezing in another session on top of that before the week is out!

Good day and good-July!

Rent time again, and most know what that means for meee - going live with open in-stream orders, same pwyw rules apply - try to have ready no less than a ref or few of your character(s) you'd want doodled and no more than a light idea I can tackle to try to keep things moving along >v< Keeping in mind that I absolutely work slowly -sob-

For reasons below I likely won't be doing any nsfw stuff this time around, but will see how things play out.

Looking to stockpile around $200 in the next few days to make my dues for July - I'll attempt to go most of each day from morning/early-afternoon on into the late evening as usual; but may start only offering 3-4 slots to given my speed and to leave some wiggle room. Unfortunately I also just got finished moving my entire setup to my family's place to house-sit for the week while they're away; so the start times may get a bit sporadic, on top of occasional breaks to chauffeur my brother around by car; but I'll do my best!

Speaking of doing my best, I have not been this past June. While I'd meant to, a buildup of multiple grievances and distractions have been hitting me that have not made it easy to focus. Fur Affinity in itself and their staff on their typical bull**** with the 2.7 Policy update being handled even worse than initially expected over time with the wishy washy moderation responses and feedback-censoring, forcing me to look into exploring other options for gallery occupancy for both my own sake and keeping up with peers/fellow artists unjustly targeted by the fiasco... Badgering from my family to join along with them on 'vacation' trips every other month despite not being in a good spot to do so, and voicing this... Living in a shitty area with shitty, unstable and honestly unsafe people on the daily definitely justify a bit of an escape but with the cards I've still got work to do before I'm comfortable enough to not be on a grind. On top of pinpricks I won't bring up I recently was hit with the news from my best friend that a very nice, saint of a woman we used to work under in my most recent job that I'd left the other year during the deeper outbreak of covid passed away due to losing a fight with lung cancer. There have been losses aplenty these days of course, and I especially have known it losing a good friend a few years back, but this has been weighing on me a little harder I feel through someone I've known in person and was like a second mother to my friend and I whilst we were together at that place for several years.

Now, I'm not looking to use the above as a means for much excuse in me being slow on art deliveries as of late, but hopefully I can give a little solace in that I haven't forgotten anyone. I'm keeping track & I'll be bouncing back very, very soon; and promise to do so better than ever. Unfortunately I still need to keep the tiny roof over my head to do so and with that, a few days of stream before I can take a deep breath proper. Thank ya'll as ever, immensely, for your unyielding patience and baring with my sporadic bursts of activity thus far-

Doing it again this year! Figured I'd toss up a quickie-quick journal to share my link, feel free to drop any of yours as well.

I'll try to squeeze a few attacks into the month at least if I can, usual light stuff. It's always been a great avenue to get/stay warmed up as well as meeting other artists >v<

I'll try to keep things to the point.

There's not much I can say that hasn't been said to death (rightfully so) by many other creators that put their thoughts out, but you'll probably hear snippets from me on the side in the near future.

I'm not so much affected by the update since I rarely upload nsfw as is (I was doing so a tad more than in the past lately, but this will just have me dial back on that again.) I do however have some bits of content with smaller / questionable-by-FA's-new-standards (Yes, new; I will not believe for a second their claim that this has always been a part of the past rules but not enforced as genuine, it's obvious damage control. The speciesism attached that is, not the stance on cub/minor art explicitness.) Therefore, I'm going to separate my safe stuff here and a bit more saucy stuff with some previous posts over on a more stably run site such as Inkbunny.

For those that claim to avoid that site, I'll-

A. recommend using the tags blacklist feature readily available to make browsing more individually friendly, and-
B. I'll try where I can to upload some safer stuff to my Twitter as well and maybe even Pillowfort.

As for twitter though I still want to keep anything nsfw off of there and am already not a fan of the site as an art station / gallery, not being designed even remotely for either in any capacity, so don't really want to make a nsfw account and keep up with such in addition.

I'll look into Postybirb to try and make handling the multiple accounts a little easier if I can, I've already been bad enough managing one 💦

Again, while I'm not too affected by this mess, a good handful of friends and mutual artists alike are, and either are leaving FA entirely or are needing to shift their inspiration and attention elsewhere, and in a certain way that does affect me directly. A good number of my audience or even clients are good friends of mine, and I want to be sure I can follow my peers for both those reasons.

tl;dr I'll still be posting here, journals, streams and all the like- but I'll start looking into updating other sites on the regular in addition. Most notably Inkbunny will be my secondary focus especially for anything nsfw that might not be allowed here.

Not much but just an update that I've had a comfortably chill birthday today I've taken the day to just sit and think my own thoughts, catch up on sleep and mingle with family a bit. With free time tomorrow too I might toss up a draw stream to hang out in maybe take on some stream doodles for folk with any luck, will see!

Mostly just wanted to update my journal a bit too, I'm so bad at doing such xvx
