Tonight Mark's for me a milestone in my path of digital art. Up till now, every piece I've done has been free, with the side note "if you like the artwork, please consider donating" and so far none have. This is my first time that my art has been given value and has strengthened my confidence in my own work. Up till now, I felt like everyone has been let down or didnt have their expectations met, which may still be true but, having a commission for the first time feels...really good!

I love to draw, so much so I bought a 19.5" pen monitor just so I can do more as a hobby! Started to share my art work and progress, then people were asking for art and I didnt feel right saying,"pay me" in a sense, so I never asked, and people continued asking at the expected free. I still see and will continue seeing my work as a artist a hobby. If someone feels so profound that they, want to commission me and pay for my time, I will not deny them that decision, because that's what they feel and it give me a feeling of being valued and I will always be honored and proud of doing this for others and the community.
