Leo and I are rooming by ourselves this time around.

I’ll most likely be glued to Leo since he’s helping me both at my Artist Alley table AND while I’m fursuiting, but that doesn’t mean I’m not open to hanging out with local furs!

Are there any panels you will be attending?
Nothing for Thursday but I’ll be attending a couple of AD events once the dealer’s room closes for the day on Friday. The only thing planned for Saturday is the fursuit parade, and on Sunday I’m gonna finally try out the Ice Cream Social if my stomach and brain are feeling up for it!

What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
MFM is more of a working con than a vacation con for me, so I’ll be burying my nose into whatever commissions I receive over the course of the weekend. But I do want to try and get some fursuiting done at least in the evening when I’m not as busy!

To be honest I was really nervous that I had lost one of my main sources of art income for a second there, lol. I remember looking back at all of my PayPal invoices from 2023 and more than half of my commissions came from people that interacted with my posts on here than anywhere else, so the brief hijacking of this site could've spelled out way more trouble for me than it did. Either way, I'm just glad to be back online. :>
On that note, I meant to announce this before the shutdown but I'm running another raffle on my Bluesky to help me nudge closer to reaching 200 followers. I'm trying something different this time and instead of it being a YCH for anthro characters, it's a sketch page for quadruped/feral characters only this time!

General | Posted a year agoMy commission queue isn't completely full but since I'm gonna be doing a lot of stickers for people, I went ahead and decided to close requests for the rest of this month. The goal is to get them all finished (along with an owed badge from my FWA sale) by the end of the day on 7/31.

Commission Work RESUMING + Bluesky Feed
General | Posted a year agoI am FINALLY testing negative for COVID-19, so that means starting tomorrow I will be resuming work on paid commissions! My Trello has been updated accordingly with the projects I had to put on hold while I was sick and for the next few days, I'll be prioritizing those over Art Fight attacks so I can start to catch up. Thanks to everyone for being patient with me while I was away! ; w ;

Commission Update (I caught COVID-19 lmfao)
General | Posted a year agoI already posted this onto Bluesky and DM'ed the people who came in close contact with me but for everyone else, I tested positive for COVID-19 (for the THIRD time) not too long after coming home from Anthrocon this year.
Symptom-wise I'm doing surprisingly well compared to the last two times I caught this—so far I only have a sore throat and a few body shivers but the fatigue is already starting to catch up to me, so to err on the side of caution I'm going to make the announcement that I will be putting off all paid work until I test negative again. I'll still make Art Fight attacks when I can to pass the time since I'm currently being quarantined in my room and can't go outside of the house, but my badge commission and the two sticker commissions I have on my queue will have to be put on hold for now until I feel better.
If you saw me at all over the past weekend, I strongly encourage you to get tested as well. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Probably an even mix of new friends and old friends alike! I don't like being stuck to a single group at huge cons like this one so you'll likely see me roaming around from time to time on my own.

Saturday is reserved for the fursuit parade like always, plus the Scragster meetup after the dealer's room closes for the day. For Sunday I have nothing planned right now but a Furry Business panel I might poke my nose into.

What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
I'm gonna be focusing on making great memories with my friends for the most part; after that, my next goal is to get as many fursuit photos of both me and other suiters as I can! And to a lesser degree, I'm also taking opportunity of AC's size to do some networking with a couple other artists so I can learn how to better expand my audience and improve as a furry artist. So I guess I'm entering this con with a lot of things on my mind, but at the same time I'll keep my options open for surprise opportunities! :'D

I did a test run of this option with some of my friends and they loved how theirs turned out, so I'm confident enough now to open this up to the rest of you. You can get one sticker for $20 or three for $50; to request me for these, choose "Digital" on the first part of my form and go from there.

This year I'm at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, which is right next door to the Marriott.

Unofficially I'll be there Wednesday afternoon, but I'll be settled into my actual room by Thursday.

For Wednesday I'm staying at an Airbnb with some IRL friends since rooms at the Hyatt/Main sold out for that day by the time I reserved a room. Then from Thursday onwards I'm sharing a room with three of my close fursuiting friends.

I'm honestly not sure this time around! I have plans to spend time with old friends and also meet a bunch of new ones at some parties, so it's gonna be a surprise I guess?

Update on The Future of My Badge Commissions

Hey all,
After getting zero responses on my FWA Badge Form for the last 3.5 months, I've made the decision to close badge commissions entirely once the form closes on the 30th of this month. After that date, you'll only be able to commission a badge from me if I'm tabling in the artist alley at a future convention.
The reason behind this is that I really don't see any reason to still advertise badges at full price if nobody's even bothering to commission me for them at the sale price they're currently at. To keep pushing for sales on a commission option that clearly isn't marketable would disservice both me and everyone else that has to scroll through my posts on various socials, mostly Bluesky. I really don't want to keep spending hours a month pushing for people to buy something that's either 1) isn't interesting to anyone to begin with or 2) is clearly out of the price range someone's willing to pay; whatever the reason, the fact of the matter is that I'm essentially wasting my time trying to pretend like anyone wants a badge online from me.
So instead of repeating something that clearly isn't working, I'll be focusing my advertisements on commission options that have a much better chance of being interacted with; from the past two years of doing this, I'd say this means I'll be pushing out more YCHs and raffle opportunities since those are what people often share/purchase the most. Of course, the decision to pause badges online is by no means final, and if I feel like my online presence is large enough to give badge commissions another try then I will absolutely make another announcement saying I've resumed taking badge requests. But if I'm gonna be honest, that might not be for quite some time given how badly this current round of badges are going.
With that all said, realistically speaking I'd say that the next time I'll be opening for badges will be during MFM this year, when I'm tabling once again in the artist alley. I'll be doing traditional badges on-site with the option to sign up for digital symmetrical badges that'll be completed after the con. If you're not going to MFM then the last day to request a badge from me until further notice will be 4/30; the form to request one is in the pinned post on my profile page.

Mainly just to de-stress and enjoy the con as best as I can! This is my first time going to TFF and it'll be my first time in Texas since I was seven years old, so naturally I'm really excited and also really nervous, lol. The drive is gonna be daunting but I'm confident that I'll be able to make it to/from the con just fine. :>

Each one is $20 ($5 off), any gender/species. These will be filled in with white over a flat background with minimal shading.
Send me a note to claim; this sale will go on for as long as the roads stay closed, so probably until the end of the week. After that they go back up to normal price, so don't wait!

Updated Shipping Prices
General | Posted 2 years agoGoing into 2024, the price for shipping with be raised by $5 for both domestic and international commissions. This means that U.S. commissions will now cost $10 to ship, and for everywhere else it costs $25.
This is in response to the new price increases to ship with USPS. It's been crawling upwards in cost for a while now but I really didn't want to charge more for shipping until the cost to mail stuff started to eat into my net profits.
