Regarding Commissions in 2026
General | Posted a month agoHappy New Year! Originally I was going to make a longer post about this but since my break went WAY longer than planned I figured I should just summarize the original note now and post the official changes after January 1st.
To sum things up, now that I have a job outside of art, I will be taking a step back from publicly advertising art commissions and will be using a majority of 2026 to focus on uploading the backlog of completed works that haven't been shared yet. Which means that if you want a commission from me moving forward, you will need to either:
1) Submit a request for a streamed commission when I open up for those (this will happen about 3-4 times a year, with a 1-2 week notice ahead of time), or:
2) Subscribe to my Ko-Fi as a Basic ($15/month) OR Gold Supporter ($40/month) to get access to my offline queue. This was originally only a benefit for Gold members but I will update the tiers to grant Basic members 24/7 access to my *public* queue; the private one that's open year-round will still be exclusive to folks subscribed to Gold.
To be clear, my Etsy and on-site commissions at cons will still operate as normal—it's only my customs that are changing! There is a chance that I may reopen my public, offline queue to everyone in the future but for now, the ads and sales pitches need to be scaled back a bit so I can focus on adjusting to a traditional work environment again after not being in one for over three years.
Thanks as always for understanding AND for also supporting me so far to the point where I could move and land this outside job to begin with! Literally none of this would have been possible had you guys not purchased my work over the past 5+ years, and for that I am forever grateful.
So yeah, ads will stop on my other socials for now and you should expect to see more personal art/fursuit pics soon; until then, Happy New Year and have a safe rest of the holidays! ☃️

December/January Commissions are OPEN!
General | Posted 2 months agoJust about everything is up for grabs this month, including my new crayon badges (which I will be posting onto here later this week). The only thing not available is symmetrical busts; I don't have access to a printer for those, but if you would still like one for a $10 discount I am still open for digital file delivery.
Thanks again for all the support, I'll delete this journal when my queue is full! :D

TN Update + Art News for November
General | Posted 3 months agoHi everyone!
So with me moving out from TN to a safer state tomorrow afternoon, I'm gonna have to close up custom commissions and my Etsy store for quite a while so I can update legal documents, adjust my prices for a new state tax, and do various other administrative chores that come along with relocating across the country. Things will likely stay quiet on my other socials during this period, but in the meantime I plan on posting older art onto here that I worked on between this past MFM and now.
Which speaking of MFM, I do need to be honest and share some rather personal news; I think it's safe to say that when it comes to furry stuff, I will not be coming back to Tennessee again after this move. Like, ever. My ties to Memfurs are officially severed and I have no plans to attend Nashum Fur Con next May, nor will I ever be attending Mephit Fur Meet for future years.
See, when I first joined furry spaces in this state back in 2022, I had a little bit of background knowledge going in about how divided the state's community had become since the pandemic, but over the past two years this division and infighting has exploded to a level of pettiness I had not seen since leaving high school. While I will not say my personal opinions on That Callout Document that I'm sure everyone who's local has seen over and over by now, I also find it highly repulsive that the other local groups have decided to use this as an opportunity to highlight every single mistake that their so-called "enemies" have made and use that as an excuse to post incredibly sensitive information under a false sense of "citizen justice". I mean this to say that the document has gotten so out of hand that I'm now seeing a few of my own friends, people who weren't even staff of the group that dissolved, getting literally doxxed and harassed solely because they used to be friends with the wrong people at the wrong time. Hell, even my own ex was forced to move out of the city in less than four months because some folks who helped write the document threatened to call the police on them, just to get revenge and instill fear onto both him and his current partner. Like, don't get me wrong; I had my own gripes with that group for not shutting down a pro-life user, and I'm 100% on-board with rooting out present-day nazis and sexual abusers from the fandom, but not like this. Not to the point where people who genuinely grew and left on their own accord are now being unwillingly sucked back into the past that they worked so hard to get themselves out of while they still could.
So yeah. I will no longer attend any meets (or conventions) held by any groups based in Tennessee until they stop going after each other's throats and begin acting like adults for a change. That's all I'm going to say about that.
In lighter news though, not everything will be doom-and-gloom as I take a break from commission work and Etsy orders; in fact, I actually have two HUGE things planned for the next two months: Monthly subscriptions and streamed commissions!
Subscriptions were a feature requested by a couple of folks in the past who wanted to support me at a much cheaper price than my commission rates. You can choose to subscribe for $2/month and get access to monthly character polls for fanart pieces (starting in 2026), but if you subscribe for $5 or more you will also be added to my monthly sticker club! Stickers will be designed for the next month and sent out on the 1st, so you can subscribe at any point before November 30th to get the design for December. Two more tiers after that one will also give you priority access to my queue, and discounts on commissions—including streamed ones!
I wasn't able to do streams after 2020 because my laptop eventually became incompatible with OBS, but now that I have a new setup I can finally get back to doing those again on Picarto and I'm super excited! Since these will be on-demand pieces done in one sitting, I'll be offering these at a discounted rate too. As of now I'm still crunching numbers but to give you a bit of an idea, a lined sketch done on-stream would probably be closer to $15-$20 instead of the usual $25. Additionally, streamed commissions are almost always half-body only so I can quickly move on to everyone else who reserved a spot for that day, and the stream won't end until absolutely everybody's requests are complete. That means I'll probably only be open for 4-5 spots at a time, which I honestly expect to fill up super fast given how it used to be back when I did a lot of streams, so keep an eye out for announcements on when those start!
So to sum everything up, Ko-Fi subscriptions will start next week and streamed commissions will be resuming after a five-year hiatus sometime in December. I was originally going to do the former on Patreon but their current onslaught against LGBTQ+ content has me really second-guessing that decision, so Ko-Fi it is. Until then, it's time for me to get settled into my new home and start making a whole world of new furry friends! :3

October/November Update!
General | Posted 4 months agoHi everyone, long time no see! I have a few updates that I need to share before I start doing work on my queue again:
First off, in case you were wondering why messages/posts have been a little sparse lately, that's because I was preparing for my graduation ceremony that took place yesterday. This was honestly a much bigger deal than I realized it would be and physically I'm still very tired, so I'm probably gonna take today off to rest and switch my work day to tomorrow. Normally I don't work on art on Sundays but there is an upcoming trip I need to prepare for, so Sunday and Monday will now be used to work on my queue as much as I can.
And speaking of that trip, I can now confirm that I will be out of office between October 14th and October 21st! My partner and I will be touring apartments within the state we plan on moving to during this time. Should everything go well and we sign a lease, I will now be moving out of TN on November 1st instead of the 2nd week like originally planned.
There's only two commissions left on my queue that I need to finish before the new move-out date and so far I feel pretty confident that I can make that happen. The majority of my remaining to-dos with work is honestly just uploading artwork that I finished in the past but never got around to posting online due to IRL things popping up, but once that's finished today I'm gonna be going back to all of my commissioner's DMs to catch up on what I missed during my impromptu break earlier this week.
Thank you as always for your support and patience during this time! It honestly means a lot more to me than words could ever describe. <3

Commissions are OPEN!
General | Posted 5 months agoHi everyone! Sorry for the silence on here, I had a minor case of con crud after coming back from MFM but now that I'm feeling better, I was finally able to update my commission form and upload it online for September.
All commission types that were hidden last year are now open again, and no prices have changed outside of badges. There are also now TWO different types of reference sheets you can ask for: symmetrical (Style A) and asymmetrical (Style B). I'll be posting examples of both of these onto here soon once I finish uploading the rest of my Art Fight attacks!
→ This will stay open as long as I have slots available: https://forms.gle/sUURtWAyVS24ubDR8

~*Convention Meme: Mephit Fur Meet 2025*~
General | Posted 6 months agoSorry this is late, I was really fatigued this past week and needed to rest up before knocking this out!━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━
Where are you staying?
We are in the Vitality Hotel this year, which is MFM's new main hotel.
What day are you getting there?
Thursday afternoon!
Who will you be rooming with?
One of my friends got the room and will be bringing her partner; likewise, I will be on the other side of the room with Leo!
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
Mostly with Leo and my roommates for the most part. With my vision being limited in my new fursuit and the fact that this is a new hotel, I likely will not be wandering off on my own like I usually do at smaller cons like these.
What is the best way to find you?
Either here or on Bluesky (@flanderpelt). Don't DM me on Telegram without asking me first (unless we met at a party), it's weird.
Are there any panels you will be attending?
I have a few planned to keep me busy! I'm gonna try to attend most of the fursuit programming and make the sticker/pin trading panels to give out some last-minute Pippi goods.
Are you hosting any panels?
Not this year.
What do you look like?
I don't like posting pics of myself out of suit for personal safety reasons—just look for either Pippi or my fursuit.
Will you be suiting?
All weekend, yes!
What is your gender/pronouns?
I'm a guy but my sona is not, so please use they/them if you see me running around as Flanny ;w;
How tall are you?
5'9"/175cm!
Are you mated/in a relationship?
Been in my current relationship for about a year now!
Can I talk to you?
If I'm out of suit or at a party, yeah! You can talk to me in fursuit too but please note that I sometimes wear a silent suiter tag when fullsuiting; please don't force me to talk if you see me wearing it!
Can I touch you?
High-fives are okay, but ask before you tackle me into a big hug! Party settings don't give you a free pass to grope me, if you're gonna be weird then at least ask me if I'm fine with it.
Can I buy you drinks?
Drinks are a maybe, only if I’m not busy. >_<
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Yes to hugs, just ask first! Snugs are for private meetups only.
How long are you going?
I'll be there from Thursday – Monday!
Will you be going to parties?
If I get invited to one by a friend then most likely yes, otherwise I don't plan to go to any at the moment.
Will you be performing in your fursuit?
I'm always in-character when fursuiting.
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Yell my name or tap me on the shoulder; PLEASE don't tug at my ears or tail!
Can I take your picture?
Yes! I won't be able to take pics of my own for most of the con so please, take them and tag me on social media so I can see it and save them all to my laptop! ^^
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
This year is gonna be very different than previous Mephits because for the first time since 2023, I will not be selling any artwork or merch. I honestly was originally planning to not attend at all due to some management decisions that have been poorly made regarding the move to TN, but a lot of my local friends are still going and this may be the final time I get to see some of them before I move out later this year. My mood may be a little muted at the con because of this, but I'm gonna try everything I can to still have fun however I can outside of the official programming.

Final Update on My Artist Alley Table for MFM 2025
General | Posted 6 months agoPausing art posts once again to announce what is probably the hardest thing I've ever had to announce since regularly showing up for my local community. Apologies in advance because it's a little long, but very important:
Words cannot begin to describe how broken I am to even admit this, but after some new information that was relayed to me by a staff member I honestly have no other choice; I am no longer selling at Mephit Fur Meet this year.
Because MFM is happening in Shelby County (Memphis) this year and not Olive Branch, the city is requiring that every dealer—yes, every individual person who is selling—must pay a separate fee of $150 to be allowed to legally sell within county limits, on top of the con's booth fee AND the city's 9.25% sales tax. These additional costs would put so much pressure onto me that I would be at an unhealthy amount of stress for the entire weekend (considering how I already know a good number of my past clients are skipping to go to Megaplex this year), and I realistically can't justify doing all this work just to leave with barely any sales —or even worse, a deficit. So I'm going to just pull the plug on it now and cancel my table plans.
I'm horribly sorry that I'm doing this.
Q: Are you still going to attend the convention?
A: I still will, yes, because I still would love the opportunity to fullsuit and see my friends, but I will now only be going as a regular attendee. I will not be selling any artworks, stickers, or commissions.
But as far as the con goes, please don't worry about me financial-wise! Leo and I already budgeted the cost of registration for our monthly expenses and our room host offered to let us stay without paying for a portion of the hotel, which was astronomically kind and I cannot thank her enough for that. But this does sadly mean I need to abstain from making any purchases in the den this year, which sucks because I had plans to get my first at-con commission for my sketchbook......but it is what it is.
Q: What about MFM Pickup badges? Are you still doing those?
A: Considering how this will now be my primary source of income for August (oh boy......🙃), I will keep these open all the way up until the week of the convention instead of closing the form on August 10th. You will just have to arrange a place for us to meet up instead of having me wait for you in dealer's. Shipped badges are also still available (costs $8 more), as well as reprints of 2024/2025 badges for $5.
In addition, to help offset the loss from not selling in Artist Alley, I will be also opening for traditional badges starting on Friday. Originally they were closed so I could focus on making traditional prints for my table, but....well, I don't gotta do those anymore, lmfao. So now those are open for you guys again!
Q: What will you be doing with your con-exclusive stickers?
A: Realistically, I don't think I can fully make back what I spent on these because I foolishly bought more than I did for 2024…but to help offset at least a portion of it, I have decided that I will be listing twenty of the stickers on Etsy; the rest will be given out as freebies and donated to the Charity Auction. That listing will be up on August 5th (they arrive the day before)—HOWEVER! If you will be attending and don't want to pay for shipping, you can also send me $5 through Cash App (send to $drac0phobias and leave your Telegram username in the notes) and I'll hand-deliver one of these to you. I will be setting aside 10 stickers for this option; once they're all claimed, you'll have to buy through Etsy.
Q: Will you be selling at MFM in the future?
A: …I'm going to be brutally honest. Doing this for two years was a blast, and if the con was still in Mississippi I likely would still be selling there. But the local laws here in Memphis have essentially blown this con completely out of budget dealing-wise, so I will no longer be selling art at this con until further notice. Depending on how this year goes as an attendee, this may even be the last MFM I attend at all, but I'll update you guys on that in September.
So yeah, that's where things are right now. I'm not mad at the staff at all since this was out of their control, but I really am going to miss selling at my home con. My next con I'm tabling at is now TBA indefinitely, but stay tuned for future updates starting late 2026/early 2027.
[ TLDR: Memphis' laws regarding vendors have blown MFM out of my budget for selling and I need to cancel my Artist Alley table because of it. I will not be selling here in the future, either. For questions about what art I am still available for arranging pickup, see the FAQ. ]
[ UPDATE: This document was originally written July 30th at 9:00PM; on July 31st, at around 10:00AM, a senior member of dealer’s staff (withholding their name to protect their privacy) announced that the city told them that this fee is being waived for 2025 only, and Shelby County residents now only need to pay $30 for a standard business license. However, my decision to cancel my table remains unchanged. The reason is because upon further research, I found out that this “new” $150 license that staff was talking about has actually been a law for more than ten years. This means that nobody in upper management even tried to look up the new city laws regarding taxes and fees, despite the fact that they knew the con would be relocating to Memphis over six months ago. That means for half a year, they could have told us dealers/artists to prepare for the new rules and additional costs, and yet they chose not to (even now, on the con’s website, it still said that we only owe the 7% Mississippi state tax…despite the con not even BEING in Mississippi anymore, until August 6th. August!!!!). I cannot in good faith trust them with my sales because of this, even more so because there’s nothing stopping the city from going back on their word and requiring the original fee last-minute. Just figured I should let this be known to the public in case anyone else was considering doing Artist Alley in my place. ]

Commissions are (Unofficially) OPEN!
General | Posted 7 months agoHi everyone! I'm running a little behind today on commission work and personal errands, so I'm going to push back the date for my official opening announcement until Friday. But in the meantime, if you'd like to submit a commission request before I open to the public, you can now do so by clicking this link to go to my form!
As a reminder, I am closed for traditional commissions until after MFM. This opening is only for digital work and symmetrical badges (con pickup). Thank you!

Custom Commissions + MFM Pickup Badges Opening July 21st!
General | Posted 7 months agoIt's been a bit since I opened for commissions and with my schedule so far being on-track with clearing my current queue by Sunday, I think it's safe to say that my next opening date will be July 21st! This month I will be open for all digital commissions as normal, but badges will be handled a bit differently.
For this next run, all badge commissions will be for Mephit Fur Meet pickup ONLY and on top of this, only the digital bust badge will be available. This is because I am saving my stamina for mass-making traditional badges until the week of the con; same thing for traditional commissions. Traditional badges will be available at my artist alley table BUT due to technical constraints this year, I will be completing those after the con and mailing them out during the first half of September. So if you want a badge from me to wear at MFM, this will be your only chance!
Additionally—if you commissioned/received a digital badge from me in the past two years, I am also offering discounted reprints if your badge has gotten damaged/lost! These are normally $10 to cover shipping but for at-con pickup, it's only $5 to cover materials. Feel free to DM me about this if it interests you!

~*Convention Meme: Anthrocon 2025*~
General | Posted 8 months agoHmmmmgh I'm having trouble sleeping so I'll knock this out now:━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━
Where are you staying?
This year I'm in the Kimpton, which is one of the new hotels that got added to AC's hotel block. It's super fancy and the PERFECT hotel to spend a romantic anniversary with my partner, Leo!
What day are you getting there?
Wednesday afternoon!
Who will you be rooming with?
Just Leo for this year.
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
Mostly with Leo since we're now a thing this year, but there will be some times where we'll split off to do our own thing. I'll be trying to hang out with both old and new friends during these times!
What is the best way to find you?
Either here or on Bluesky (@flanderpelt). Don't DM me on Telegram without asking me first (unless we met at a party), it's weird.
Are there any panels you will be attending?
The only thing on my for-sure list this year is the Rabbit/Lagomorph meetup on Saturday, as always. I'll also probably be attending the Going to the Gym 101 panel with my partner on Friday, followed by the Trans/Nonbinary Sketchbook Swap on Sunday.
This year, however, I will NOT be at the fursuit parade. It's been fun doing it the past two years but the new "no poodling" rule among other things have really soured that event for me, so I'll be wearing my fullsuit during the Block Party during that time instead.
Are you hosting any panels?
Not this year.
What do you look like?
I don't like posting pics of myself out of suit for personal safety reasons—just look for either Pippi or my fursuit.
Will you be suiting?
All weekend, yes!
What is your gender/pronouns?
I'm a guy but my sona is not, so please use they/them if you see me running around as Flanny ;w;
I'll be there from Wednesday – Monday!
Will you be going to parties?
If I get invited to one by a friend then most likely yes, otherwise I don't plan to go to any at the moment besides the private one I'm hosting on Thursday.
Those of you who follow my Telegram Channel already know this but for the rest of you, I got accepted into the Art Show this year! This is my first time showing SFW art in a physical space since 2018, so I'm very excited to get back into auctioning off original work. I'll be busy most of Thursday setting up my exhibits but after that, all of my work will be for sale between Friday and Sunday; outside of checking in on bids, I'll be spending a majority of the weekend just hanging out and relaxing with my cool animal people friends :3
━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━My Thoughts on the Removal of the Gender Drop-Down Menu
General | Posted 8 months ago[EDIT]: This journal was posted before FA decided to backtrack and reintroduce the dropdown menu. Click the following link to read their official statement.
I get that they wanted to streamline tagging and "evolve with the times" but IMHO this could literally not come at a more worse time.
Trans minors literally just lost their right to HRT permanently in over half of the United States due to the recent Supreme Court decision yesterday. The 988 service for LGBTQ+ people is being removed July 17th. And FA responds by.....taking away "outdated" terminology? and automatically puts the WRONG TAG for nonbinary on HUNDREDS of posts that Flan is in????
To me this looks like it may be the final straw for the more vulnerable folks, specifically those who identified as nonbinary or intersex. It was incredibly tone-deaf and I am really, really disappointed.
Were there harmful gender identities in that menu? For sure. But out of the 3 years I've been on FA, I probably only saw those being used, like.....once? Maybe twice? Everybody else used appropriate gender selections that weren't offensive. So to say that ALL of the genders had to be taken down in order to be "inclusive", while also assigning the WRONG TAG for the lesser-known genders....it leaves a horribly sour taste in my mouth. I know they didn't mean for it to come across like this but, in all honesty....it lowkey reads off like they are complying with you-know-who to stave off another DDOS attack. I really hope I am wrong on that, but. That's the vibes this new update is giving off.
Welp, guess I now need to comb through 300+ images and individually fix all of the tags now to have the CORRECT nonbinary tag in the morning. 🙃

Regarding ABC 2025
General | Posted 9 months ago(Info copy + pasted from my announcement channel)
Hey guys—I'm not the one to write letters due to a cancelled con appearance, but the reason behind my non-attendance is highly critical and needs to be brought to attention.
TLDR; After talking it through with my partner, we have both decided that we will NOT be attending Anime Blues Con 2025.
There were two glaring reasons why we decided to cancel so close to the event, an event that I've regularly been going to since 2017 and will no longer attend for the foreseeable future:
The first reason is how the con has been treating their arcade department. For those who were unaware, ABC decided to dramatically reduce the number of imported rhythm games available to con-goers in exchange for a large, VR-headset play area beginning in 2024. Considering how VR can be played at any time, any day at the local Dave and Buster's, and how most of the imported games are usually a 3.5 hour drive away from most Memphians, this was immediately considered to be an attack on the rhythm game community, pushing out the "niche" and "irrelevant" games we've held dear to our hearts in exchange for a quick cash grab. And despite multiple, high-ranking members of the community vocally opposing the VR Zone's return in last year's exit survey, it looks like it'll be returning this year even bigger than before, reducing the number of imported games to almost zero. It's become such a hot topic in the rhythm game community that even Save Point, ABC's arcade sponsor, is starting to bad-mouth the convention within their Discord server and has hinted that after this year they will NOT be returning at all to supply these games to the public. Should this be the case, the absence of Save Point will almost guarantee that the two of us will never be returning.
The second reason, however, is even more dire than a grudge against the rise of VR. This year, instead of paying for an actual musician to host the con's dances, the convention has decided to NOT pay for any musical performances; even worse, what would've been a panel for actual music artists is now a panel that will "explore" and "entertain" the masses by...using generative AI to steal existing work and frame it as if it's all part of a harmless game show. Let me be clear, generative AI is NEVER a victimless crime; in order to generate something, an existing song made by a real, uncompensated person, MUST be stolen in some way. And the fact that a convention with a 6,500+ person attendance is supporting such open theft is a disgrace, full stop. To make matters worse, when the legitimacy of the AI panel was questioned in the con's Discord, a staff member *doubled down* on choosing the panel over panels hosted by actual artists, using the excuse that "We choose panels based on what we think will cater to a broad audience [...] Just like in life and in things like job interviews...Do something to stand out [next time]." Which was basically their way of saying actual artists and musicians don't give enough publicity for them to care.
It seriously hurts to have to do this, to boycott the first convention I attended as a legal adult and the first convention that I cleared a pop'n music chart over a 46 in public. I have so, SO many memories attached to this con. But with where things stand, those memories will now be made somewhere else, at a convention that embraces players of otherwise-obscure rhythm games and supports artists—not thieves—of ALL crafts.
For those who still want to interact with me during ABC weekend, I will still be in the area for Midsouth Pride and so far I do have plans to attend the parade + festival in my partial fursuit on Saturday. My next appearance in fullsuit will now be at Anthrocon (July 3-6), not next week. Apologies towards those who wanted to see my fursuit in June, but it's just not happening anymore with the choices ABC leadership is unfortunately deciding to make.

Update on Convention Prices for Merch + Commissions
General | Posted 10 months agoHey, before I start posting art I did over the past 2 weeks onto here I need to come back and apologize for a past announcement I made.
I need to apologize because originally I blindly assumed that I could keep the prices at my con tables the same, but with the new tariffs in place that is now very much NOT the case. I did some number crunching last night, and it looks like these will now be my new prices going into MFM 2025 and beyond:
STICKERS: $5 each, or 3 for $10 (was $3 each, 2 for $5)
GRAYSCALE COMMISSIONS: $30 for half-body, $50 for full-body (was $20/$40)
FULL-COLOR COMMISSIONS: $55 for half-body, $80 for full-body (was $50/$75)
ON-SITE BADGES: $90 (was $65)
ADDITIONALLY, starting at MFM this year I will be completing on-site badges and delivering them AFTER the convention from here on out (the increase to $90 is to cover shipping costs). The reason behind this is because last year, I had a dangerously close call with my laminator eating up a badge I did on Saturday that almost made me completely redo the badge, and I can't risk that happening again in what is already such a high-stress environment for me. By waiting to laminate the badges until I get home, I'll be giving myself extra time to watch the laminator more carefully AND it'll give me the option to scan + make photocopies just in case the lamination process DOES eat up another badge.
Also, since my stock of Pippi pins is very low and I have no way to order more since Paradox Pins went out of business last July, I will NOT be offering those pins at my table again this year. There will be an Etsy listing later this month for the B and C-grade pins, and the A-grade pins are now only available through pin trades.
Thank you for understanding during these troublesome times; let's hope that in 4 years time this all settles down and I can lower my prices back to where they originally were! >_<

Commissions Closing Early!
General | Posted 10 months agoDue to a sudden influx of commission requests, I went ahead and closed my form early for this month. I've never been so busy before with these so thank you to those who shared my posts around on social media! You guys helped me a lot more with that than you might think. :>
My next opening, should I get to everyone on my queue in time, will be April 25th. I'll be taking requests through April 30th for May/June completion by that time.

Gallery Update
General | Posted 11 months ago[CONTENT WARNING: MENTIONS OF SA/ABUSE]This was overdue for a while, but I went ahead and finally scrubbed all mentions of Lord Virgil and his partner Lindley from my account on FA.
At this time I do not feel comfortable sharing the entire story of what happened between us for me to do this, but long story short: I was assaulted by Virgil in June 2023 and last year both him and Lindley were ousted from all TN furry groups due to his repetitive history of being a sexual predator towards the local community. As much as I want to delete everything that features them both, I also have a lot of core memories (like going to Nashville Pride) and some of my best work from 2022/2023 was art that I was paid to make for them; so rather than remove the posts, I just took their names out and untagged them so the posts won't show up as being associated with the two of them anymore.
If any of his other survivors are on this journal, you didn't deserve his treatment and I cannot apologize enough for blindly enabling someone like him to continue abusing people within the community. I cut ties with him after AC 2023 and have had him blocked everywhere now for over a year, so I'm not sure which accounts he still uses to interact with the fandom (he told admins he's leaving for good after his actions came to light, but I doubt that he quietly went away since he was known to lie a lot). But if you see him pop up in the future, please let me know so I can block + report his new username to the online community.
Sending out love and solidarity. <3
Etsy Prices Increasing this Sunday!
General | Posted 11 months agoSince Etsy is doing away with handling fees for shipping, I will be increasing the price of ALL physical items starting on Sunday, March 9th. This means most stickers will now be $4 each instead of $3, and my leftover buttons will be $3 each instead of $2.50.
As much as I don't want to increase prices, it costs a lot of money for me to ship out sticker orders in particular, especially orders with only 1-2 stickers. I originally had the handling fee added to compensate the cost of the envelope + Ground Advantage but with that now gone, increasing prices seems to be my only option left. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Shop Link: https://www.flanderpelt.etsy.com
# Although my online prices are going up, my dealer's/artist alley prices will remain the same! So if you want to continue getting items from me at a discount, try to catch me at an artist's table during your next local con. Stickers will remain $3 each/2 for $5 in-person until further notice. 💙

Etsy Store Renamed + Sticker Drop
General | Posted a year agoThe sticker drop is now LIVE! And alongside it is a surprise name change—my Etsy store is now Flanderpelt instead of DRACOPHOBIA!
I made my store way before I started diving into furry stuff (August 2020), so it seemed appropriate to finally change the name since I've moved on from reselling Fursona Pins and now only sell merchandise that I personally designed.
This is the new link, go check it out now! ➡️ https://www.flanderpelt.etsy.com

Update to Terms of Service (re: E.U. Commissioners)
General | Posted a year agoBeginning on December 13, 2024, the European Union’s new General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requires that every product sold in the E.U. must have a registered agent within the E.U. as a point-of-contact to answer inquiries and provide documents. As of writing I currently do NOT have a representative and thus CANNOT sell to any consumers that live within the E.U. No exceptions, not even if the commission isn’t a physical piece. If you pay for any of my work using an account that is based in the E.U., OR if you provide a shipping address that is within the E.U. for a physical commission, your order will be cancelled and you will be promptly refunded.
My Etsy will stop taking orders to the E.U. after December 8th, and the commission ban will go in effect on the same day.
(Btw, this will NOT be a permanent ban; I have arrangements to get in touch with a representative as soon as I move out of my current state but this won’t be happening until Fall 2025. Until then, please hold onto your commission idea and I apologize for the inconvenience!)
You can read the rest of the updated terms here.

Commissions are Closed!
General | Posted a year agoTo give myself time to prepare the last of my things for MFM next week, I've decided to close commissions for the rest of this month so I have time to clear out my existing queue.
For my next opening, I'll be shifting around my available commissions around and from now until August 2025, stickers and badges will be taking priority over everything else. I'll explain why I'm doing this once the con is over and I have time to write about some major updates happening in my life; my other art options will still be open, but they'll just be done on a case-by-case basis instead of through my Google Form.
All of this will be happening on September 9th!
