Sooooo.... I don't have as much time and energy that I thought I would have to produce stuff. Ungh. Going through some really hard stuff in my education, scholarships, competitions, still fighting for Eagle Scout, etc. I will try to get some time to myself and produce a few more songs, I really like doing it. I just have to get some of this crap out of the way first!

After spending some time just sitting back and watching, I am ready to start producing some things. I have brushed up on my music theory (as in I can actually write songs) and studying programming, so good things are to come!
In addition, I am going to FWA! First Fur Con, this should be fun!

Now that that's out of the way, I am pleased to say that my computer is now back in my hands. It is running better than ever and is Windows free, running the free OS Linux Debian. This is an amazing piece of software, and I am proud of it. Now, it will take me a few days to get all of my programs in order and migrate all of my data, but I will soon be back up and running and better than ever before!

Like the many before me, my Vista has finally crashed. It fails to boot, going straight to the recovery screen although nothing is wrong with it... All happened after I tried to update to SP1 so I could install Windows 7. Oh well. Point is that I have to halt my work while I take care of this problem... backing up my hard drive before I start screwing with the boot files is taking longer than I expected... After that I have to install the operating system, which I am probably going to use Linux Debian...

Checking in. Again. I have not downloaded flash nor made any progress on it, I have been concentrating on prototyping my web server. Man, Linux operating system is so hard to deal with, but I have almost no choice when it comes to server OSes. Might as well get some books... In the mean time my laptop is currently put out of service due to the Vista SP1 update, it couldn't boot after that. I have to rescue it sometime soon, once the SATA cables come off of eBay. Thank God for eBay...
Anyway, I would like to upload some more Flash stuff, maybe download the trial and play with that. I liked all of the attention I got the last time I made something. :D

Just letting you guys know that I am not dead. I am still using OpenMPT, and it just seems to get more and more complicated. But now, I have help! I have teamed up with one of my friends and we are going to make some tracks together. I am pretty good with the percussion and stuff, but I have always needed someone to write some melody. Ill try to get some songs to you guys soon, I must look like a real deadbeat...
In addition, I am working on a website deal with RLJ2GameWiz, I plan to create a website and host one for him. If anyone has any needs on hosting or server space, I will soon be able to fit the need! I am getting closer to having my Web Server, just need to check my Internet connection and configure some stuff...
Yeah, you can say I am busy. I can sleep when I'm dead!

Thanks to my best buddy Ranard_v, I have some really awesome open-source (free and often updated by programming team) music creation software. This is a really powerful tool, and will get some really good sounding stuff your way. If you are interested, check out OpenMPT.

Whoo! Finally, after all of my questing, I have found some a good assortment of freeware programs to make some music! I am using DrumStation by d-lusion, and Audacity Beta for mixing and effects. I need to find a program to get some intruments, now...

You know, I could avoid this task of going out and finding all these programs if I just had a Mac. Then I could use Garage Band and just be done with it...

I am teaming up with my friend LPFanXtreme and we are going to start sending some tracks your way! (I'm uploading a sample to my scraps now...)

I just wanted to let everyone know that all of the drum solos that were recently posted are now fixed, so come and listen. (Don't use .wave format, use MP3) That means now.

My next project to advance in my Geek Rank is a server that I am building. It's a pretty ancient one that I got for free, so this could take a while. I got some pretty good pointers from a chat that I had with Dragoneer ("holy crap, you got to chat with Dragoneer?!" "Yep."), and it should be coming out eventually. Pictures will be soon to come, and, if you are nice, some online storage space!
