PMD: Gleaming Hearts is relocated!
Posted 5 years agoEDIT: The Tumblr account has been terminated for reasons unknown and they aren't getting back to my emails. Please use the main mirror for now: https://gleaminghearts.thecomicseries.com/
I've officially put the webcomic up on Tumblr via a webcomic theme and a new account! Please consider following, as Jake's story will commence soon! https://gleaminghearts.tumblr.com/
As for the website hub I previously spoke of, I think I will be going back on that idea, as it was mainly meant to augment a cozy spot for the webcomic, but there were issues with that. Firstly, the website would have been host to fans of my fetish content, so fans of that and the webcomic would have likely clashed. Second, if I made a website just for the webcomic, that would be two sites I'd have to manage and pay for, and I'm already paying quite a bit to get the comic colored!
Either way, thanks, everyone, for being patient. I hope that the comic can continue to last on Tumblr 'til the end of its production!

Smackjeeves had an update...
Posted 6 years agoWhile I'm not opposed to sites having a change of style for its user interfaces and layouts, Smackjeeves went about their overhaul in a very unproductive manner for a lot of creators, including me.
- Comic sizes are now restricted to 690 px width. You'd still be able to read my comic, but I personally am displeased with the size drop regardless.
- There is no way to organize my pages anymore. If you want to submit something, it has to be in a "chapter" format and the site allows you to submit more than one image at a time. For shorter comics, I can see this working somewhat, but for longer comics like mine, that's out of the question. The archive list does not look intuitive and is now a pain to sift through sinc e I can't organize my pages.
- Custom pages are gone, I can't find ways to receive direct messages, and I can no longer make news posts.
It's safe to say that I have to find a new place where I can post the webcomic. This is a good opportunity for me to learn how to build a website! In it, I am planning on having all information about my characters, worlds, and lore, almost like a hub. Within the site, I plan on putting in pages for the webcomic itself. I do not wish to make a site JUST for the webcomic because of copyright concerns.
That all being said, PMD: Gleaming Hearts is going to be on hiatus until I can organize a functioning website for all of my stuff. It'll be a good investment and experience for me, I feel.
Thank you all very much for understanding, and I hope I can provide an awesome hub for everything Fidverse in the not too distant future! I'll keep you all posted.
