N[ew]s about Patreon
General | Posted 6 years agoIt's been a little while since I had posted to FA, mostly because I was trying to find a comfortable place Patreon-wise. My Patreon has been a bit wonky for a rather long time, so the time I spent just sort of creating things and seeing how easy it was to distribute/schedule things related to the various tiers really helped to clarify what's easiest for me to keep up with (since it's rather obvious I'm bad at posting regularly).
The Patreon will now be early access for only the $5 Tier and above, and lasting from between a day to a week from the post time elsewhere.
Every Tier now gets access to an Archive I've finished of my art from 2012 to the previous month, so this month the archive has stuff prior to October 1st, 2019. Source files are included when applicable or accessible, and it will be updated the 1st-3rd of each month. The Archive itself has over 2,000 files in it, made of things I've posted under this username, as well as previous ones (meaning my old signature is on many of the drawings, as well as scrapped works, doodles, etc. Though I will clarify that I deleted a good 14,000 files from my art folder to get to this curated selection. I'll be recruiting some people to help me upload some of this stuff to e621 for easier access for those unwilling to use Patreon, but Patreon is going to be the easiest method of getting the files all at once.
Every Tier also gets access to Patron Request Streams, which are done once a week (usually on Friday) based on requests posted in my request channel on my Discord. The rules aren't too steep, though mainly you are only able to request characters that are my OC's, or characters from properties. i.e. Tom Nook / Spyro / etc.
Lastly, I will be posting HD files for all tiers and on any sites that don't compress my art *cough*Twitter*cough*

I was a crazy depressed person and got in much too far in over my head with commissions and endeavors and just bailed for the most part. I have since gotten into a better spot, with the help of a job, therapy, and antidepressants. Though, in the meantime I had an episode and nuked many of my old accounts nearly a year ago, while keeping my FA up to eventually come back to and sort up the loose ends there. Since the nuking I've assumed a new username, because the damage was already done when the accounts were nuked.
Art will be dumped as I find art worth dumping, or create new stuff.
Patreon? For what?
At the moment it's rather bare, but I'll be updating it with WIPs and progress on my current project [AR] as well as the copious amounts of [+18] WIPs I need to finish. It won't ever be a paywall, but rewards will still net you early access, HD files where applicable, WIPs, polls, etc.
At the moment treat it like a tip jar. Should be ready in August.

I'm currently working on a 2.5D spooky game in Unity that I'm just calling AR for now. To see the stuff I've already uploaded about it: Click here.

Not right now. And if I do it will likely be one at a time, or scheduled streams with timeslots.
