So first there were these fire alarms that went off, then there were people shouting to get out of the building (which they probably could have done more calmly).

Dari and I head outside and there's this crazy gas smell which we figured out is R22 coolant for the old-ass Aircon system at the Regency, which does have Chlorine in it. It was all pooling at the top of the building but because it was leaking so fast it slowly started coming down.

Fortunately they got everyone evacuated in a super fast time. I stayed across the block in another hotel while they decontaminated the place. Not many people were actually hurt and we got to go back in a matter of hours.

Crazy stuff though! The entire hotel inside was lit up by 500 fire strobes, and a large chunk of the furry fandom was on the streets of chicago. I don't think I'll ever see something like that again.

Looking back on 2013, it's probably one of the most explosive developments I've ever gone through, and it's been amazing making artwork for everyone to see. I can't wait for this digital life to go to reality, as I'll be meeting a lot of the people that I always looked at from a long time ago.

So I might as well keep you guys updated with my own personal plans that are going on, just so you know what's going on.

I'm moving out of my Grandparent's home (since my mum and dad both work excessively, I live there) because that's getting sold first. My dad is also moving, he's going to Queensland with his wife so I've been hanging out with him before he leaves, he's slowly packing everything up as well.

I'll have delays in artwork and everything this week and most of next week because of all this stuff. I've come to realise that moving out of a place you've been living in for so long is like slowly dying.. You see your life flashing before your eyes as you throw it in the bin, only to keep the most important stuff. Feels awesome.

SO YEAH that's what I'm doing. Excitement and tension and emotion is building all around... 18 years in the middle of Australia, look out America.
