I've NEVER done a livestream before.. and im just curious to see how many of you would actually be interested in watching me improve my 'leet skillz'.. lol I might take some free eye sketches or something to continue learning how to make it look realish and all. Also i would be working on coloring some lineart, and or changing some changable line art.

Kinda perturbed right now.. Entered a Halloween contest over a month ago, Just got the results in, and honestly completely shocked that I did not win. I mean no offence to the winner but seriously for the level i was in, My piece was WAY more detailed and much more creative. :/ but again that is just my opinion. I'm not mad, I'm just kind of confused. The fact that this was the first actual contest i had ever entered in and it was for a cash prize, it wasn't much but i have been struggling with money for a very long time.. I live WAY below my means. I don't even own a desk or a tv.. My computer sits on my floor while i sit on my foam mattress, also on the floor... I'm not complaining, I enjoy not having to spend money on silly things like end tables, or a dresser. I have shelves in my closets i'm not concerned with things like that. But eventually at least owning a damn CHAIR would be nice. I hate when no one wants to come over to my place just because there is nowhere for them to sit comfortably.

After years of having shitty roommate situation after shitty roommate situation, I FINALLY have my OWN place, which is a 1 bedroom, But honestly everything i owned could be put into one closet.. so because my husband and I didn't want to spend our entire time just in the bedroom, We moved into the living room. The Apt is only 419$ a month and i barely made enough to pay rent, And that was by asking my family for money to cover the last 200$ I only made 60$ off my commissions/adoptables over the last month, and i've desperately been trying to find new things to make and sell. I am lucky enough to not own a car, so i don't have to worry about a car payment or insurance, and although sometimes annoying, I don't have a problem taking public transportation to get where i need to go, providing i have the money to take a bus or light rail. :/

I did submit an ad banner to FA but they have not gotten back to me yet. It's been over 3 weeks. So hopefully i'll hear something soon.

Look, I'm just ranting because even though it was only like 40$-60$ of a cash prize, It would of at least helped me buy food for my husband and I.

(and Edit) As much as its not anyone's business; My Husband DOES have a job, but due to his other disabilities he is not able to leave the house, and what he does, he only gets paid about 100$ everyother month. -.-

I normally get weird when people draw my main fursona because they tend to draw her ears way to small. >,< so if you choose to doodle her please just don't forget she's like 90% fennec. It's only really her markings that change from feral to Anthro. (although she's been drawn so many different ways from people not sticking to the reference so i changed it a bit) But here are the preferred ones. >,< Her clothing style is a mixture of Gothic Victorian and Steam Punk. Lots of poofy skirts with bustles and thigh highs. She makes friends fast with her relaxed and curious personality. A really great listener. She is also a Druid of sorts. Being able to shapeshift from a pure fox form, to a dove and also to a tiger, All green/black/white. markings stay the same. She also has the use of some magic but is not a showoff. her time period is current just her style is old fashioned as i mentioned. She loves going to the park and swinging on the swings. She has an amazing voice but it is only heard when no-one is around. XD some people call her a siren because those who do hear her sing, tend to ALWAYS want her to sing and it makes it too easy for people to fall for her. She does not wear shoes, and sometimes when feeling very happy and at peace, her footsteps can cause grass and small flowers to grow in her wake. Also when casting a spell or feeling any strong emotion (love/anger/fear) glowing bands of green and faint green leaves will swirl around her body.

I want to do Adoptables... but im wondering if i should make the bodies have more of variety.. (i.e. semi skinny, then a few a little bit heavier, some shorter, others muscular) But all have the same basic outline, other than hair which will be different on each one as well.

But what i'm wondering is.. Should i make them complete, Or should i have them custom and allow people that might want one be able to tell me what features they would want in a particular character..

Or maybe i should do both?? have a few set adoptables and then offer custom ones to those who might want one?

Without giving too much away, (unless you've read though all my art descriptions to find what i'm talking about XD ) I'm wanting to sell 6 characters that i have, but in adoptable form, simplified and without bios. Mainly so that whoever gets them can create their own story, unless you would LIKE their background and a simple character ref sheet, I will offer those for another few bucks if really interested in keeping the character they way they could of been in my world.

There are no rules about that character personality, you can do what you want with the characters personality. All i ask is that you do NOT re-sell the character, and don't re-color the character. As long as you link the original creation of that character to me, you can do anything else you please. but if you have any questions please ask me. :}

I will be doing more than 6 of the adoptables in the character style, slightly modified with maybe another animal, unless i get more people wanting just different color patterns of the same species. XD

(species in this case created by nature, not by a person and if i EVER make a species, then it will be free for ANYONE to create one, I believe that no one has the right to limit the imagination of others. I'm only having these characters and color patterns for them being the adoptable parts. XD just don't make your own and use the exact same design as one of the adoptables please. :] )

Yeah.. seriously.. its AMAZING. XD You can only communicate with other deer with body language and sounds. its actually really relaxing and fun and yes eventually you can change your horns, coat color and pattern, and get masks for your face. Its very interesting. A Dream for anyone who really ever wanted to be a deer in a forest. I recommend at least giving it a little try XD Its 3D, pretty, lots of detail, and simplistic. No quests, no deadlines, no shitty player attitudes and no violence XD i suggest you read the website first though so you know what everything does. you can play for free and there is no place to buy things, EVERYTHING is free. no special treatment or items for sale. Just you, the forest, and other deer.

When you register, you are a Fawn for a month and then you become a bigger deer and can cast spells on other deer to change their appearance. When you just try it out you are already a large deer, but you cant do all the things that a registered deer can. Its so much fun.. my Husband found this game and i thought i would share :}

Ok.. So lets say you get free art by an incredibly talented artist. They ask for your ref sheet, right? They actually draw every detail and it turns out amazing. Even though it may be small, or simple, it is true to your character, so you are happy.

Now say you're getting free art from someone who is just learning. They ask for your ref sheet. They do all the details of your character, and you can tell its you because all the details are there, but its poorly done but you're happy to help them improve.


NOW lets say you are getting free art from someone who is in-between. They ask for your ref. But then while drawing they don't do your details correctly. (markings are backwards or very poorly done, if they are done at all)

My question is... Do you, as the owner of said character, have the right to pop in and make a comment to the artist about it???

Not in a rude way by any means, because they are drawing your character for free, but if they don't pay attention to character ref sheets then what's the point of linking them to the artist?

And i understand that the artist has freedom in whatever they draw, but if they are drawing your character,shouldn't it look like your character?(unless you know that its going to be their interpretation of your character. But again shouldn't it somewhat resemble your character?


And THEN when the Artist states that they are bad at drawing certain character traits and you state that they can simplify them so its easier on the artist, Then whats left of your character without your specific markings?

So my last question is this: What kind of Artists do you enjoy getting free art from; The Ones that actually draw your character, or the ones that do their own interpretations of your character?

There is no right or wrong answer, I'm just curious to see who prefers what.

I'm the kind of artist who likes to get every detail right. unless Specifically asked to do whatever i want.

I'm Sorry I had to somewhat rant Mainly because of some random girl that decided to snap at me for 'complaining' about my markings not being accurate. All i said at first was, "Her forehead is huge! LOL XD." Then she stated, "Its free, Let the artist do what he wants. If it was a commission then you can nitpick." I Was never complaining. I was cringing from behind my keyboard because i didn't know if i was allowed to say anything. :/ I said it in a joking way because i honestly didn't care, but i wasn't sure if he was waiting to hear feedback at all. I was just happy to finally have someone else draw my character..-.- i didn't know the artist was going to complain about my traits midway through. after that I just told him I was sorry for wasting his and everyone elses' time. and that if he wasn't going to use my ref sheet then it didn't feel like it was my character, so so just delete it. I was not upset. I was just disappointed that the artist had not said anything before starting.

It looked nothing like my character. Everything was off.. Would you of said anything? Am I the only one who doesn't understand why the artist would ask for a ref sheet only to ignore it and then insult it? If he didn't want to draw her, he could of just said so and it would of been fine.

I wonder how many other people on here get their character insulted and don't get over it as easily. :[ We are who we create, Call our creation/s ugly and you're calling us ugly, right?

Right now they are only 25$ for sculpey ornaments, i'm raising the price to 35$ after sept 1st. I accept a lot of different forms of payment. send me a note with any questions! I do offer two types of wings on the Ornaments now, The Deluxe version like on mine (EssPhox Ornament) or chibi style which are smaller and dont cost any extra. deluxe wings are 5$ more and can be any size and shape you wish.
