working on finishing my new yarn tail as well as lots of gift art to practice and finishing a head to auction. As I sit here listening to White Lake by Deaf Center, Eating an awesome toasted Jelly sandwich, I thought about a few things.

Firstly, I thought about yesterday and how stoked I have been getting back into digital art lately. Even getting a few small commissions from friends and gaining my 700th watcher on Furaffinity.net for my art. (I will probably start moving all my art to my DeviantArt account too.)

Then I remembered how I had to expose an artist who was tracing during a stream yesterday. Straight up tracing. No I didn't feel good about it, I even actually had tried to help her out by suggesting that she just keep the reference out and eye-ball it and then site the original image as a reference. She asked what I was talking about and I told her, "I can see your layers... you had one hidden from an image that you pulled from google images, you had your tabs open and you can see what you googled.." The point is that she then denied that she was tracing, Figuring this, I took screen shots. But then I try to be the nice guy and she ends up closing the stream and blocking my Fur Art account.

So anyway, I was accused of tracing this morning. for the second time, on the same image that i made over a year ago. T.T and no, I didn't trace it. Even if you overlay the images there are NO matching lines anywhere.. because I didn't trace it, I used it as a reference, fuck it was the image that the damn commissioner gave me. :| WHY would I trace the image that he gave me as a reference T.T do you REALLY think i am that stupid? WELL, I hope that part is cleared up. now there is one more issue that I'm having right now in Artists community I am in.

It seems that quite a few 'white knights' have come out and are now bad mouthing me in the community. For those of you who don't know. I make shit. lots of shit. and sometimes there are cool things that I make and stuff, So I've been making these 3d hand painted eyes to replace mesh flat eyes in fursuit heads. They have clear vision so you can see perfectly and it gives the head a more realistic cute look. even if the head is toony it still looks toony, thats all dependent on the custom paint job. but anyway, the point is, That I suck at making whole heads, but I LOVE making these eyes with expression eyelids. So I had been asking suit makers around if they would consider getting eyes from me just as an added option for their customers. :/

In NO WAY was I trying to offend ANYONE on how the eyes themselves look. Most of the suit makers I've talked to do amazing painted mesh eyes, or they make resin eyes. thats all great and fine I was just trying to offer a different type of vision to the customer.. so I will say it again; I was never trying to offend anyone. I'm Sorry if it sounded that way.

I wasn't trying to 'steal any business' or anything like people are saying T.T thats just silly. I hardly get any business now a days. -.- BUT!


(TLDR;)

Due to the recent attacks and harassment of people defending others against harmless comments, I am taking a break with digital art after I finish these two pieces, I will be taking a week or so off digital art.

I am going to be switching to making some Yarn Tails. The way that I make them is by using a weaved pattern. so its easier to make perfect spots and striped tails. So I am going to take a break from the internet and reflect on how silly people can be trying to make drama out of nothing.


IN CONCLUSION:

They [the harassers] won for that tiny moment while my eyes filled with tears, but at least I know that I'm a pretty awesome person, and that I would never trace or call anyone else's work 'sub par'.

I am happily in love. I have some awesome real friends that don't use me. I feel like I have been improving on digital art, so eventually i'll go back to it. I also might start doing more animation.

Overall I am happy and I don't need people trying to bring me down. So If you need me, message me or text me. I wont be around much the next week or so.





I am looking forward to finishing the two pieces I'm working on, and starting on a giant yarn tail to auction.

/Rant

You know what I really don't like? People assuming that my boyfriend 'takes care' of my bills. No, I advertise everyday on different art and craft sites to make and sell my art to people to get money I would need for bills. I don't live with my boyfriend. It is very hard to find people to commission me to make things, but its mostly hard because I find it difficult to advertise for so many different things I can offer. I am able to make so many different things it gets hard to keep up with them. I am a 'Jack of all trades', Master of few. Now here is why I am ranting; I just got a new drawing program/platform as a GIFT and now I have been advertising for digital head shots to make money for rent. Not to make money to spend on Christmas gifts. Money for rent so I can keep a roof over my head, and food in my fridge. (I was able to have my awesome friends, Whitney and Amber, bring me food for the rabbit I have, that my friend rescued from being feed to a snake in October.) This gift was an investment in me pursuing my passion... It was not asked for. So to those of you who say, "Oh well you should of just been given money as a gift then you could keep your apt." I didn't even know I was going to get this gift.. and it is an investment because he believes in my art, he believes in me to be able to make my own money through art. The sad fact is that people who would normally commission me, have been going back and forth now saying that, "It doesn't look like you need help with commissions, you've been taking trips and vacations for the last few months." :| Yeah, I was asked if I wanted to go to Seattle and My mom lives in Las Vegas, so when I go there its literally to visit and spend time with my mom and family. I few to California on my mothers expense so that I could attend my 10 year HS reunion.. but it was canceled and I couldn't refund my flights so Tyler paid his OWN way there so that I would not be alone. Thank goodness he came with me too because i would of been stranded at an outdoor train station all night if he had not been there with me. But I have been paying all of my bills with money from commissions. People need to stop assuming that I have money... I don't even have a bank account right now.. I only have $58 dollars in cash and that's it, that is all I have saved up for rent... I have been waiting to hear back from possible commissioners on fursuit heads which, even just ONE commission of a suit head would pay for all of my bills. So I have been messaging people everyday trying to find ANYONE who might want a new and more versatile fursuit head with changeable expressions. Trust me, I push for commissions every day, if I didn't need the money, I wouldn't be trying so hard to make it.

My father took our last family dog in to get put down sometime last week.. They didn't even tell me.. I found out after I went down to visit my dad and he told me that he had asked his girlfriend of 7 months to marry him.. :|

I had previously written a long journal about Coco's life and then the life of the other 5 five dogs my family has owned throughout her life and how that now we have no dogs at my dads/grandparents.
