So! I have juuuust about recovered from the house move lol. Still have so much to do though including a whole lot of unpacking, furniture shopping, decorating, etc. etc. But we're in and the house is in a somewhat liveable state now, so yay! C: Even found time to get some drawing done once I'd got my computer and tablet set back up (which ofc was one of the first things I did - priorities and all lol!)
Things in general are pretty good atm, so yay <3 Will be suffering a little bit of internet downtime due to a provider switch, which I am recoiling in horror at the thought of lol, but if that's the worst I have to endure then really I cannot complain lol! Plus I have a huge list of things on my to do list I need to get cracking on anyway, starting off with commissions! Which you guys have been so lovely and patient over ;v;
And regards commissions - I'll shortly be getting to work on everything again, so hopefully you guys and gals on my list should hear from me soon! I'll probably be sketching everything digitally now since my new tablet is soooo awesome (it's an Intuos XL - my husband got it for me for my birthday =D) So that should save some time and allow for easier alterations if needed C: Until I'm a bit more caught up though my commissions are temporarily closed, but if all goes to plan this shouldn't be for long ^v^

Omg you guys, what a week it has been! ._. So after 3 years of searching off and on, a whole lot of hassle with morgages and a bid war, my husband and I have just had our offer accepted on a house! =D We're like, crazy excited, but at the same time still kind of nervous since we know there's a tiny possibility it could fall through still. But fingers crossed that won't happen and everything will go smoothly from here on out! ^v^
This is a huge thing for us as we've been desperately wanting to start a family, but were warned that having children can knock like 20% off how much morgage they're willing to lend you, so we had to put it off :< As a result it's felt like we've been stuck in limbo ever since the marriage, but it's just so gosh darned hard for first time buyers to get on the property ladder over here unless your parents are helping you. But now finnnaaallly we can get on with our lives, yay us! =D

Also in less important (but still fantastically awesome) news - my Takara Tomy 1:1 Mew talking plush arrived today, and she is THE BEST THING EVER. I have no regrets whatsoever over bankrupting myself to buy her X3 Her voicebox is supposed to be motion sensitive, but she will just be sat perfectly still and randomly start chattering away, it's sooooo adorable <3 I'm having to stop myself just cuddling her all the time though, since she's all rare and minty, but her fur's so super soft I just can't resist lol Going to have to buy a second one purely for hugging ;3
