Posted 14 years agoI've been away from the old art scene for a few weeks now ~ concentrating my efforts on trying to not fail exams (and in turn failing at that).
I ask you people, what the hell is wrong with university professors who decided to put in a question that was NOT covered by the lecture topics, NOT in the recommended reading, and NOT in the core text books?! AURGH >insert deity here< what is wrong with these people!?
Suffice to say myself and 
gogledd came out our human structure exam with our heads hung to the floor and daren't speak about it in case we imploded with negative feelings.
Panic, panic, panic and it's STILL not over! Exams are done and now come the results *shoots self*
So, that's exam news over with, what's noise about?
MY FUCKING HALLS OF RESIDENCE THAT'S WHAT...
Ooooh if I could go on some kind of rampage over this place I'd squash their arses so far down into the ground they'll be waving to people in New Zealand...
*breathes* Okay... if it wasn't obvious I'm not exactly a fan of the other people I'm forced to live with ~ Being a ridiculously light sleeper doesn't go well with a bunch of people who like to get drunk on every possible occasion and stumble back home around the crack of dawn making as much noise as their wee inebriated brains will let them. I get that people like to go out and have fun - I'm all for having fun don't get me wrong! It's the inconsiderate behaviour of trying to bang my door down at 3am because it's funny at the time then acting like you've done nothing wrong the next day. Well... only a few more months of this torture, and to give them their due they are stopping the major noise around midnight now at the very least.
Yeah, this is a situation where I emo out and get all 'why me!?' about it but seriously, WHY ME?! Surely there are people in quite flats who want a party? Swap rooms with me whoever you are godamnit! I PAY for this abuse mind you, that's what really gets me is that I pay a considerable sum of my OWN money to this place to be kept up by noisy neighbours and shit staff... URGH
To be honest, I've grown attached to this little corner of a building I call my room, yeah the post here is shit and the staff are, to be as fair as possible, fucking useless moaning twats but when all's quiet I can still meditate away the stress in this room so that's got to count for something. My little corner in this chaotic world we all live in.

Naawh I joke ~ but this is relevant to you my friends and watchers as this means I get my new WACOM BAMBOO PEN TABLET (HOMAGAAAAWWWDDZZ) soon which means the art will flow again!.
As well all know... the art must flow...

Posted 14 years agoSo... bit of a lack of art here eh? Let me explain...
Firstly, pre-Christmas break I had a mahusive art block the likes of which has not been seen my man for many years! (Seriously they had to call in a research team it was that bad).
Christmas break, step-father refused to let me take anything more than a few bags home, had to leave scanner up at university...
Post-Christmas break - TABLET REFUSES TO WORK!
*sigh* So the long and short of this all is that artwork will be taking a lliittllee while longer to get flowing. At least now I can use this as an excuse to upgrade the pathetic excuse of taped-together crap that used to be my graphics tablet.
With the looming shadow of winter exams over my head now that may be even longer. However between fits of panic and typical student cram-style revision I shall endeavour to get a few pieces of artwork done!
Stick in there, there's the promise of art to come soon!
