Spring Cleaning
General | Posted 3 years agoI'm working on updating my profile now. I know I haven't been that active other than buying art occasionally on here. I really do want to work on that.
I realized that a lot of why I don't do digital art is because someone I used to be closed to berated me for doing it. They told me I'd never make something of myself selling artwork on sim sites/online basically. Ever since then, my drive to do art has really tanked. Every time I work on a commission or something personal, it feels like a waste of time.
But I've reminded myself that I don't do art to "make something" of myself, or even to earn money. I do it as a hobby that I enjoy, and sometimes other people can benefit from it too. I want to reconnect with the joy I once had when working on various pieces. I want to express my ideas on canvas, even if they're silly. That's why it's a hobby. Art is supposed to be fun and creative, not come with gates that you can't get through.
Depression didn't help either, for a while. However, my life is in a pretty great place right now. So hopefully with some routine, you might see a bit more popping up in on here. If not, then at least I gave it a shot I guess.

General | Posted 4 years agoYes hello hi. It has been six years since I made this account and I've only ever used it to browse on occasion. With the continued push of my fiance and friends, I'm going to start submitting art here and potentially taking commissions. For now, things are a bit untidy and all over the place but I promise it will all come together soon.
I haven't done artwork steadily in four years as it is... So getting back into the groove of things comes first. I will likely only upload anthro/furry art here other than references for my own toons.
My artwork will have the signature of MangeCur most likely - as that is the primary name I assign to my artworks and it ties back in to one of my oldest fursonas, who I no longer use.

General | Posted 11 years agoI'm not entirely new to FA but this is a new account/identity! Uhm, I don't have a lot to share about myself and don't have anything right away to upload. I want to try to to post up some stuff soon. *_* Once it's up if you're interested in a commission, feel free to contact me. Hm. That's it I guess?
