There has been a ton of discourse over the Discord situation. I've been looking into it and doing my research on it and I've come to my own decision about it. Discord is saying that not every user will be required to do the verification and that there is a chance this won't affect most users at all. Maybe I'm a naive fool but I'm choosing to "wait and see." I'm not foolish enough to not make back ups though, it's probably a good idea to give everyone a chance to join a steam group or something, but there's no point in letting yourself freak out about something we don't know about yet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to convince you not to leave or write off Discord, presumedly we are all adults, you make your own choice and I get it, there are just a lot of emotions about it so lets make sure we aren't pointing those emotions at people who don't deserve it. Whether you are feeling hopeful and want to see what'll happen, or are already done with the BS, we are all in it together so lets try not to attack each other yeah?

Also, I do hate that they've taken this direction, but I've been on Discord since it's infancy, back when skype was sinking and everyone was going "oh yeah Telegram is gonna be the next skype." and I was like "Hey guys but what about this thing called discord..." and I'm willing to give them "wait and see" rather than just write it off. Though I have dropped my Nitro and it's unlikely I'll renew the subscription, not that that means much in the big picture but its something.

Have already started posting art from my back log, but there are quiet a few more. I always go "yeah I love this and I'll post it in a bit." then a bit comes and I don't and I end up getting a back log, I'm going to catch up some and try and be better about posting art as I get it.

I also have a bad habit of getting adopts, its a combination of Stress buying things and being a bit bad with money. The result is that I have a lot of characters I need to post, but I'm also bad about remembering where I got the adopts from and I don't like posting things without crediting the creators, and trust me I dig through my emails, my notes, my dms, I do try to find the artist and in most cases I do succeed, but I've got a small handful I don't have the artist names for. So if I decide to post them I'll make sure to add something like "Can't find the credits, if you know, please dm me so I can credit properly" or something along those lines and I'll update the submission to reflect the original artist.
