Posted 13 years agoAlright, somebody asked me to do this, so I'm going to. Everyone knows either what The Hunger Games are, or Battle Royale, yes? I'm doing something that's basically that. Hopefully I can finish this one this time. Audience participation will not be required, but will be useful, just like in the Hunger Games.

All judgments on the competitions will be final. You are entrusting me with your character, to use as I see fit. You will be getting a story commission(s) out of the bargain, possibly for free, possibly for much less than you normally would (I haven't decided yet). There may or may not be a prize for a winner, I haven't decided yet and it will impact how much the competitors are paying because I am very poor. Questions, comments? Most of you have me on messenger, you can shoot me a note here or there, and you can sign up using this journal. If you are an artist in need of getting more work, you can comment here or shoot me a notice and we can maybe talk.

Fire is Ice, is Lightning, is Lava, is Steam, is Oil, is Glass, is Life.
Water is Ice, is Mud, is Rain, is Steam, is Oil, is Erosion, is Life.
Air is Lightning, is Sand, is Rain, is Steam, is Erosion, is Glass, is Life.
Earth is Lava, is Mud, is Sand, is Glass, is Erosion, is Life.
All four are the others, just as they are themselves. Nothing can exist without a balance, and only Fate balances itself.

Posted 14 years agoLook... I really don't want to have to do this, but... I might either have to cancel the game or postpone it indefinitely. Not only am I having networking difficulties, so are two of the players, and one of them keeps having schedule difficulties.
So... I need to ask a hard question. The people who want to play and can play, do you still want to, despite not starting for... what... a month now? The people who want to play but can't, for whatever reason, would you mind letting someone take your place? Maybe even permanently?
I absolutely hate having to ask this... it completely goes against my nature... but... it's come to the point where I have to... if these questions aren't resolved by the new year... I think I'll just have to cancel it...
