I know I mentioned opening up commissions in my side account  KHfortress and I’m glad I got some interested! :) I still plan to open them! I was going to open them 3 weeks ago but I wasn’t feeling good (mentally) but I am feeling a lot better now! Once I finished three personal artwork, I’ll consider re-opening commissions. Not sure if I’ll open them on Twitter this time around. I haven’t opened commissions here in FA since 2016. But I don’t mind it giving it another try!

Also random thought: Talking to friends, I noticed I’m pretty open to anything nsfw-ish. Like I don’t judge people for their kinks or what they like. Example: So if you like huge hyper size dragons or big titty babes, I’ll be ok with that lol. Well yes there somethings that I’m not into personally but if someone is into it, I won’t mind whatsoever. This applies to commissions too, I’ll never question or judge my commissioners what they pay me to draw. We are all into our own respective kinks and niches! :P Like mine is obviously is beefy werewolves or nsfw wise, big beefy werewolves going at it with their partner. But of course if people are into hurtful fucked up things, yes I’ll definitely judge them and stay away! Thankfully all the people I met aren’t into any of those harmful things. So yeah this topic just came to mind that I had to write down!

Either way, I’m feeling good just really hating this heat. It’s been over 100 degrees for the last past three days so far. <__< Summer is never my fav season and I prefer the cold soooo much better. I’m mostly sticking to traditional art for this reason, using the iPad when it’s hot like an oven makes it overheat and therefore is going to make me feel hot and miserable lol. :P

But yay! Profile name change is here!! DragonTigerWolf was my username cause back then I couldn’t figure out a proper name so I just picked the names of fav animals and such lol. I go by Vanity now since 2016. Random fact- I got the name off my fav Kingdom Hearts character, Vanitas, with the meaning of ‘Emptiness’, yeah I know edgy lol)

Now then, I feel like I need to explain a tad better on why I switched profiles and the reasoning. I feel like an explanation is deserved. Though I do feel bad for re-enabling this account out of nowhere and confusing old followers without saying anything. More so posting art that is completely different from what I used to draw yrs ago. But whatever lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know I could have created a new account but I felt that wasn’t right.
Anyways, the honest reason why I abandoned my  VanityDragon account cause I felt like me making emo/depressing posts ‘ruined’ things. (It’s a dumb excuse I’m sure.) I was rather depressed for months and I was telling close friends I wanted to end my life and all that nonsense garbage. But looking back now, I didn’t knew I would think such dark thoughts. I was hiding behind my art to mask the depression btw. Like I was pretending to be happy which deep inside I wasn’t. Thankfully within last month, I got better and looked at life in more a positive way. (´◡`)

So yeah, that’s the real reason for the account change. But this account will be my permanent one and I’m no longer moving accounts anymore!! I like to thank those that followed me to this account and some followers who managed to find me randomly before I ever did that journal on my old account xD I know not everyone will follow me here but that’s ok. :)
Other than that, I have some stuff in the works both digital and traditionally. Yes…it’s mostly Persona related, once I become obsessed with a game/series I tend to draw things related to it but with a werewolf twist, heh. :P

First, happy new year! =3

Now! Hard to believe its going to be 10yrs now when I first started doing digital art, i didnt know how to start or what to do. It was tricky! An artist that was part of the Crash Bandicoot(I used to be really into the series back then, still I'm today!!) inspired me to try digital art cause I loved her art more so digital one heh. I only had a mouse,scanner and Paintshop pro 10 and Photoshop Elements 4 to use back then and also 10yrs for the first time I started to post my art online, DeviantArt being the first place back in March of 07 :P I discovered FA around mid 2007 by friend in DA but I was surprise with the amount of porn xD this was back when adult art could be seen by everyone from what I remember lol. Didn't made an account on FA until December of that year and didn't posted nothing until the following year  NR1 (old ass account filled with dust and webs now)

But 2007 also was the year I got into muscle art, a certain artist's gallery I bump into in DA at random made me fall in love with it! Just the detailed, shape,beefyness of his art got to me! x3 ever since then I been drawing beefy characters, wasn't great at first but after the years of practicing I got better (｡･ω･｡) overall I remember 2007 being a really good year for me, 10yrs now in 2017 I hope the same for this year.

Though what I'm thinking to do for this year is to redraw some old 2007 arts and show it side by side to see the difference how much I improve over the 10yrs. This will be a monthly thing for example: by the end of January, end of February and so fourth. =3 also I'm going try to draw more of my own characters like my crazy werewolf Atticus and his even more crazy friends Vanity and Devo :3 But being mostly a fanartist and a fantard for a fav character and series is hard sometimes xD funny enough it was the same 10yrs ago with me drawing Crash Bandicoot characters all the time, see I haven't changed at all! (￣ω￣;) I'm going to try to post frequently and do random monthly journals now. Ever since I gotten a job last year and a new one recently its hard to have the time to draw and be here and chat with friends now. :c that explains my quietness. :0

First let's get started on my birthday, yep tomorrow it is! Finally landed on a weekend instead of a weekday xP I know had many depressing birthdays in the past, false promises and such. But hopefully its a good one this year.

As for the second thing October will be Weretober month =3 I will be drawing a few selected people's characters as werewolves! With still having their features like wings,stripes, horns and such heh. (For example I will be drawing my big dragon Vanity as a werewolf, his werewolf form will have his wings and horns still included.) this is will be a fun project ^^ I just love them fluffy snarly grumpy canines :P hopefully I end October with a nice TF sequence I have in mind of a certain werewolf character :3

That I have more people to talk to, mostly everyone just ignores my messages ha. Idk why I moved to telegram :P

Like the title, i just feel less close who i thought were my friends and i dont know who are my friends anymore since they rarely want to talk me now. some people claim to be my "friend" just to get art from me or stop talking me when they got their damn commission done. <__< I hate that shit, I had some commissioners wanting to add me in skype to be friends but once im done with their art, they drop all contact with me..ugh.

Anyways as the journal's title. I'm going to be doing Xmas gifts for buddies as usual for this month and you guys will get attacked by them pups. :) But please note, I'm only doing 5 for selected people that deserve a gift from me. Its that I'm so busy as of late and I don't think I'll have the time to do 8 pics for people like I did last year. <__< not mention I'll be working on a commission in between. Well, I'm just wondering if you, my watchers and friends want to see me draw something different? I know i draw the same characters mostly for about 4yrs or so but I do draw my sonas in between. But I'm pretty you guys are tired of it, please be honest with me heh.

As for those fluffy werewolves i draw, they aren't mine, they are from some Nintendo game called Fire Emblem, I just draw them as werewolves, there's no werewolves in those games... well they do got people transforming into feral animals not anthro ones. So there you go. Not many of watchers knew that.

so is there anything you guys suggest you prefer me drawing more instead of fanart of not well known characters? What do you wants to see me draw? My fursonas? beefy anthros? non fanart? :0 I'm just making sure since I been having a feeling, my watchers and friends are getting tired of the same crap

Yes, he's still one of my main fursonas, I just been paying more attention to Atticus lately :P Well, the changes I had in mind for Devo is making him have tiger stripes. Why? While texting the girlfriend  DragonsloverIKMH09 about how much I like tigers and they are one of my fav big cats and animal. She suggested to make a tiger sona but I didn't like the idea since, I already have Devo and I don't want anymore fursonas xP So I got the idea making Devo have some tiger in him, like a liger but still keeping his original looks just adding tiger stripes and giving him a sort of Native American style. The Native American style was inspried by a sketch I did of Devo's ancient ancestor, a saber-tooth tiger with ram like horns wearing Native American tribal clothing. So I just want some opinions on this, having Devo with stripes and a new outfit but it will still have some dragon theme into it. :) I just some new ideas I want to for 2014, and that was one of them heh. I will probably will re-draw some of my fursonas and change them up a bit, well for sure change up my dragon sona since no one seemed to like him, I guess cause he wasn't buff like every dragon I see here, not my fault I'm not some buff dude irl lol.

I just been thinking about this, I know I improved on my art this year, as I see my art from last year looks like shit lols.

But.. my art style, what type is it? Cartoon?Anime? My own? I decided to change my style in late 2011 since I really started to hate how my old style looked http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5001970/ now compare it to this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10185557/ big difference (I hope) I know draw mostly fan art and same characters but I like to draw them its not going change but I still draw my sonas from time to time other stuff, at least I have a few that likes what I draw no matter what. anyways, I just been seeing how artist have all these nice unique styles and some I could tell who it is by looking at thumbnails or just drawing itself. Though there are some that try to copy off other artist style or the way draw certain things. for my current style I looked at cartoons and well video games, but mostly inspired by cartoons though, I just love fun style of them hehe and for backgrounds I do( like this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10247054/) they were inspired by graffiti and such. I know some tend to have the same style over the years but that what makes their style unique but I prefer change,well that's me.

well i been thinking about this for a couple of months back. even my girlfriend  DragonsloverIKMH09 has asked this, lol.

is why i dont have a dragon fursona. :P yeah i knows its weird, not having one since i go by "DRAGON" hell i will give you guys a short history about it. xD back in middle school days, i just used to hang out with the "gangster" kids, tagging up shit (graffiti) and i used to draw alots of dragons those days, in class i would doodle up dragons, anthro dragons too so thats how i earn the nickname "DRAGON", so i stick with it, until this day as i dont want to give out my real name (Devo is fine, for calling me that). ever since i joined DA (back in 2007 and the start of online friendships and drawing more) i used that nickname for what people to call me and what to put in my watermarks for my art heh. yes dragons are one of my most fav creatures(even thought i dont draw them, thanks to my muse i have for 5yrs already lol) but i still draw them when im bord and such. so last night (12 in the morning lol)while chatting with my draggy friend (you know who you are xD) i was telling him ideas and such so i doodle up concepts of this new sona, thats going to be a dragon. so far i got his name (Dragon) and hes going to be the pervy side me, omg a perverted dragon that faps to a certain fictional VG chick <.< well something like that :P

i havent been much on here, so i dont know whats going on with you guys(the few that i watch). so i hopefully better than me, thats for sure. also i think i have a artblock , its been like 2 weeks since i drew something up, i even sketched out the 3 prizes for my contest i did, and i just didnt had the drawing mood when drawing them, but surprisingly they came out decent enough,still i prefer fixing them up and coloring them when i get my drawing mode back. i would hate to make them look like crap so what im going do is, outline and finish a sketch i have like 20% outlined and see if i can get my drawing mode from that, it should work. i miss coloring and sketching random things :T

the reason why I bringing this up is to let you guys know, what to refer me as. I always had gender issues while growning up. I'm not saying what is my real gender, true I did refer myself as female at first but now male. hell even my girlfriend calls me "he" "him" "boyfriend" and such,lol. what do I highly prefer to be called? "he" but I don't mind being called a "she" or "it" if you like. but I feel like I'm both all times,but I'm more in the male side even irl people have a hard time figuring out what I am lol.

yeah I always to do or at least try something different each year heh. I remember in 2008 I made my drawings lineless digitaly. it was good practise and all but it would take to much time, though so I didn't stick with that style. but I will do something new for digital art =3 also I would doing more traditional art as I got some nice prisma marker set. I did post some test pics in tumblr heh. so I'm been really distracted using them.

anyways, well this year, I was thinking of doing something each month, I don't know what though. I would do something like favorite character each month but eh, not many like the ones I did 1yr ago lol. I'm still thinking though, any ideas would help. something fun to do monthly, you know?

also I'm going to drawing more of my characters, yes I have my own characters, I noticed I been drawing WAY to much of my obsessionand not actually my own stuff, I'm sure many are tired of it lol. well stop? no, I won't but I will try draw them alitte as possiable. my characters need more attention anyways, so I'm going to draw them this month =3 so you guys get to know them more heh. I will be starting with my 3 sonas. you guys seen Devo the Chimera and his twin sister lol and "Rip-Off Robert" the dragon wolf thing. I have a last and thrid one, it's a doggy but I won't say what breed, it's not one of those overratted ones like huskies or german sherperd. I tend to act like a dog irl what I been told by friends lol :P

so yeah I will be drawing my characters more often now, I need to draw them anyways.

also I haven't sent out the Xmas gifts to due busy life now so I will be sending an extra gift sketch with it. but I will send them eventually =3
