I really dont wanna pile up more things on my to-do list but I REALLY REALLY want a portrait of Goat Sky now. |D (i finally have an anthro character i want people to draw xD) I wanna conserve my money atm so commissions are out of the question, but I'm willing to art trade if anyones up for drawing him. :P

Just something I get curious of when I get new followers here haha.

I usually assume that the majority of you find my art by randomly stumbling upon it on the front page/someones favs or that you watch an avid commissioner and they upload one of their commissions from me. But if you have a different story, feel free to share xD I'm like to hear how ya found me!

So after talking to some peeps, I decided that I'm gonna start posting my humanoid artwork again here. The reason why I didnt feel like posting that stuff here is because I felt like it didnt really belong on this site (this is FURaffinity after all lol) and also because my human artwork doesnt get nearly as much attention as my usual furry stuff. (which is expected xD) Because of this, I sometimes go for weeks without posting anything here. (my usual posting quota on other sites is around 1-2 things a week, 3 if im really on top of it haha)

But i figured that numbers shouldn't matter and that I should just post my stuff here anyway, plus I wanna try to be more active on here anyways. I'm aware that most of my followers are furries and only a tiny minority of them have interest in my human art, but I guess my goal is to kinda have a healthy mix of both an audience for my furry and human art on here, kinda like on my DA. I am aware that there is a human art audience on this site and that they're a hard minority to attract, but maybe I'll just give it time. :'D

So yeah if you're a fan of my art in general that means more art for you! 8D But if you're not a fan of human art, just bear with me haha.

Hey guys! These past months I've been swamped with work (work outside of the internet I mean) and I havent been able to dedicate myself to drawing as much as I like. I have 3 studio projects I'm working on (a 2d animation project, a 3d game and 3d animation project) with a quota that I need to finish every week, and coupled with commissions and comics and personal work, its all just too much for me to handle. Dx Lately I've been trying to see whats most important to me and right now I believe the work I produce myself is what I should be focusing on the most and what will benefit me in the long run. Commissions are important to me as I've been pretty much relying on them for financial reasons, but they've just taken up too much of the little free time that I have.

I do have 3 more commissions in my queue that I will finish, but afterwards I'm probably not going to take any more commissions for a long time. I have so many things I want to accomplish for myself, but if I keep taking on extra work I'm just never going to get stuff done and accomplish my goals. I hope you understand ;~;

I know a lot of my watchers here are potential commissioners, so I apologize if this disappoints you. >< This doesnt mean that I'll stop taking commissions forever! I predict that I'll reopen them to the public in aboooouuut... a year and a half from now? (when I graduate basically :'D) Once I have school off my shoulder I should have more free time, I hope x'D

Why did you call yourself "Draggincat?"
It was supposed to be DragonCat, but since that username was already taken, I had to misspell the "dragon" part to "draggin". But I recently changed my username to "Seyumei" now (its based off of my Chinese name) but since I can't change my username here I'm stuck with Draggincat lol.

Are you a furry?
Not really, I don't have a fursona or anything. It just so happens that some of the things I draw tend to overlap with furry interests (like anthropomorphic fantasy characters) so that's where I get most of my furry followers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What gender are you?
Tbh, I prefer to sort of have this "amorphous/anonymous" persona and not have my gender known online, as I don't want my art to get bogged down by prejudgments based on who I am personally. I simply want my creations to be appreciated as it is. If you want to call me he/she/they, that's all completely fine with me! I have no preferences, just choose whatever you feel comfortable with!

Do you do free art/requests?
I don't work for free, so absolutely not. However, I am open to art suggestions, but this usually has to be something that I'm personally invested in (like my OCs or Fanart). But even at that point theres maybe like a 10% chance I'll actually draw it lol.

How long have you've been drawing?
Pretty much all my life. But I didn't get serious about it till high school.

How long does it take you to draw a picture?
It depends how complicated the picture is, but usually 3 days to a week for standard rendered illustrations. Cell shaded portraits may only take 1-2 days. Animations may take up to two weeks.

What are your favorite animals?
Dinos, rodents, cats and dogs. I like a lot of animals! But those are my favs in particular xD I also have a newfound love for goats due to a certain fav character of mine haha. 🐐

Kinda sudden I know xD but I also wanted to get rid of that last journal since I'm not on hiatus anymore :'D

In case you didnt know before, I jacked up my right arm (my dominant one) really bad last month and was unable to work or draw anything decently. Because of this my income suffered a lot |D It was a really bad and depressing time for me. But recently my arm has been healing really well so im able to get back to drawing! I do have a few more commissions im currently working on, but they're quite time consuming and id rather take a few lighter ones in the meantime so can have some more money coming in.

So thats why I decided to open 4 colored halfbody sketches! ugh.. okay so basically i broke my drawing (right) arm yesterday after an accident and now its in a cast. my fingers and wrist are still mobile but its incredibly difficult to do stuff with it, like draw, write ect. without any sharp pains. the doctor said it would probably be 6 to 8 weeks till it heals completely. when i heard that i was like fuck my life.

i seriously dont know what the hell im going to do now. specially since my upcoming semester classes are mostly drawing classes AND i still have a buncha artwork i owe people.

if youre still waiting on commissions from me or if i agreed to trade with you there will be quite a long delay. i am sooo so sorry for this, but once im healed i will complete all of them asap.

I rarely do art trades anymore because not only do i rarely have time to take them, but also because people never seem to finish their part. |D But I'll see how art trading goes here xD

Thing is I dont have many anthro characters, since most of them are feral/humanoid looking. If you can draw those though that'd be a plus! I think I only have like 2 that actually look like legit anthros lol.

I'll make my choice based on skill level or if you have an art style that appeals to me. Make sure that the stuff in your gallery is your own stuff! (since i know people often post commissions they've gotten in their gallery) Thats what I'll be judging off of.

- If you want to commission a gift for someone for Christmas or commission a Christmas themed drawing, I cant guarantee that I can finish it in time unless the commission is simple enough to finish in a day or so.

Hey guys! Just wanna let you know that I've updated my commission prices for the next batch of commissions I'm planning to take during winter break. I only really raised the prices for backgrounds and some more highly demanded things. (like cell shaded commissions) Other than that they're pretty much the same :"D Hope you guy'll still be interested though!

I'm planning to reopen in few weeks if everything goes according to plan. But this time I'll only be taking 5 slots here and 5 slots on Deviantart. So if you miss your chance here you can always check my DA (if you have an account there) to see if theres a slot open.

Another change in my commission policies will be that you can only commission 1 item at a time. I used to let people commission me for 2 items max per round but I found out that it wasn't a really fair deal, since it just took up more slots. :'D
