I already mentioned this on DA, but it's something that's been in the back of my mind for a while now. I just haven't had the motivation to draw anything in several months now. I don't know if it's because I got lazy or if drawing doesn't bring me much joy anymore. "Take a long break" some of you might say, but the thing is, I've BEEN doing just that.
Nothing is set in stone or anything but don't be suprised if I come out saying that I'm done in the near future.

I feel like last month all the way to the start of this one has been one falling out after another... I don't feel like I can trust anyone or myself online anymore...

About my previous journal, I talked with some friends (both online and in person) and I even talked with my mom, and turns out she's actually a lot more middle ground than I gave credit for. For one, she doesn't worship Trump like I thought, she even admits that he is an asshole who puts his own foot in his mouth, she doesn't support JK Rowling and the whole Putin thing was a joke that I took out of context. Look I'm not going to get into anything too political or too deep into things, but lets say I feel like I have a much better understanding on things and my mom as a whole. And honestly I feel a lot happier now.

Still I would like to move out on my own pretty soon, preferably by the end of the year, but I'm not feeling as desperate as I was.

I used to really love my mom, somedays I didn't even know what I would do without her and she was the only person to even help me get diagnosed and she helped me get out of a very low point in my life. But fuck, I am actually ashamed to even call her my mother now, she pretty much stands for everything I'm against. Like I'm not kidding when I say she has to be one of the most bigoted people I know. She supports Trump, Elon Musk, JK Rowling, she even supports Vladimir fucking Putin! Hell I wouldn't even be suprised if she would follow fucking Hitler if she was aound back in the day! She also thinks racism isn't an issue anymore, when its undeniably still is a thing. And the worst part, all she wants to talk about is her shitty politics, like every single day it's always "Oh Trump is doing a great job, he knows what he's doing" like Jusus Christ, what does she see in that fat idiot?? I spend most of my time shut away in my room to avoid hearing this shit, but even that doesn't always help. God I'm at my wits end with her. I want nothing more than to just move out and get on my own and get away from this shit once and for all, but there's always a fucking money issue and I need to get a vehicle I can actually call my own, find a roommate etc.

I just don't even fucking know anymore...

So would you consider it rude if an artist doesn't credit you in a commission you payed for? Like, it's one thing if you ask to remain anonymous, but you don't. And it's not like the artist hasn't credited a buyer before, they just choose not to do it for you for some reason. Is that a sign that they just don't like you, or am I over thinking things?
