Icelandic actor Stefan Karl Stefansson, who played villain Robbie Rotten in the children's TV series "LazyTown," has died of cancer. He was 43.
The actor's wife, Steinunn Olina Thorsteinsdottir, announced on Facebook that he died Tuesday.
Trained as a stage actor and puppeteer, Stefansson was best known for "LazyTown," where his junk food-munching villain was pitted against child heroine Stephanie and fitness-loving hero Sportacus. The Iceland-made show, a mix of animation, live action and CGI, ran between 2004 and 2007, and from 2013 to 2014.
Stefansson was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in 2016. He announced earlier this year that the disease had returned and was inoperable.
He is survived by his wife and four children. Thorsteinsdottir said his ashes would be scattered on the ocean, in keeping with his wishes.

Rep. Patrick Meehan announced he is resigning from the House effective Friday.

The Pennsylvania Republican said in January he would not seek re-election, while under fire for using taxpayer money for a payment to a former staff member after a sexual harassment accusation.
"While I do believe I would be exonerated of any wrongdoing, I also did not want to put my staff through the rigors of an Ethics Committee investigation and believed it was best for them to have a head start on new employment rather than being caught up in an inquiry," he said in statement Friday. "And since I have chosen to resign, the inquiry will not become a burden to taxpayers and committee staff."
He also announced he'd pay back the $39,000 used to settle the sexual harassment accusation.
"I will pay $39,000.00 to the U.S. Treasury to reimburse for the severance payment that was made from my office account," he said. "That payment will be made within 30 days of my resignation from the House of Representatives. I did not want to leave with any question of violating the trust of taxpayers."
Meehan maintained he never was unfaithful to his wife. He said in an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer that while he had developed deep "affection" for a former staffer and saw her as a "soul mate," he never pursued a romantic relationship with her, contrary to her claims.

My fellow Americans, today I speak to a nation in grief. Yesterday, a school filled with innocent children and caring teachers became the scene of terrible violence, hatred, and evil.

Around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, police responded to reports of gunfire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida — a great and safe community. There, a shooter, who is now in custody, opened fire on defenseless students and teachers. He murdered 17 people and badly wounded at least 14 others.

Our entire nation, with one heavy heart, is praying for the victims and their families. To every parent, teacher, and child who is hurting so badly, we are here for you — whatever you need, whatever we can do, to ease your pain. We are all joined together as one American family, and your suffering is our burden also.

No child, no teacher, should ever be in danger in an American school. No parent should ever have to fear for their sons and daughters when they kiss them goodbye in the morning.

Each person who was stolen from us yesterday had a full life ahead of them — a life filled with wondrous beauty and unlimited potential and promise. Each one had dreams to pursue, love to give, and talents to share with the world. And each one had a family to whom they meant everything in the world.

Today, we mourn for all of those who lost their lives. We comfort the grieving and the wounded. And we hurt for the entire community of Parkland, Florida that is now in shock, in pain, and searching for answers.

To law enforcement, first responders, and teachers who responded so bravely in the face of danger: We thank you for your courage. Soon after the shooting, I spoke with Governor Scott to convey our deepest sympathies to the people of Florida and our determination to assist in any way that we can. I also spoke with Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.
I’m making plans to visit Parkland to meet with families and local officials, and to continue coordinating the federal response.

In these moments of heartache and darkness, we hold on to God’s word in scripture: “I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you.”
We trust in that promise, and we hold fast to our fellow Americans in their time of sorrow.

I want to speak now directly to America’s children, especially those who feel lost, alone, confused or even scared: I want you to know that you are never alone and you never will be. You have people who care about you, who love you, and who will do anything at all to protect you. If you need help, turn to a teacher, a family member, a local police officer, or a faith leader. Answer hate with love; answer cruelty with kindness.

We must also work together to create a culture in our country that embraces the dignity of life, that creates deep and meaningful human connections, and that turns classmates and colleagues into friends and neighbors.

This game really tried my emotions.
The rage of being killed,during the game fails.
The sorrow of Joel's loss of Sarah and Tess and the close call with Ellie.
The happiness of Callus,I love Horses so much...when Callus "fell" I stayed and took down the two snipers just to revenge my Pony.
The Laughter that the characters gave me,Especially Ellie and her DUMB book of Puns.

I wish this game could allow the gamer play as Tommy,Bill and Riley. Bill is such an asshole but so appealing.

Concerning the foes,I would make hours pass,just to kill them all and use every bit of weaponry.
That Bow n Arrow was my favorite.But the aim was enraging ,when I miss.I will admit I suck.

Kelley appears to have enjoyed atheism and karate.
Kelley’s now-deleted Facebook page showed that he liked atheism, according to Heavy.com.
He also reportedly liked German Shepherds, Glock brand pistols and karate.
On a LinkedIn page, Heavy.com notes, Kelley signified that he cared about civil rights, animal welfare, arts, “social action,” human rights and children.
The 26 human beings Kelley murdered ranged in age from 5 to 72. Many of the victims were young children.
Kelley also appears to have volunteered to teach Bible study classes.
Kelley was a volunteer Bible study teacher at teacher at Kingsville First Baptist Church in Kingsville, Texas, according to the Daily Mail.
His wife had been a Bible study teacher at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs.
Kelley and his wife have a young child.
Former classmates describe Kelley as “creepy” and “weird.”
People who knew Kelley describe him as an “outcast” and they say he “preached his atheism” in online forums, according to the Mail.
“He had a kid or two, fairly normal, but kinda quiet and lately seemed depressed,” said Patrick Boyce, a former classmate at New Braunfels High School in the suburbs of San Antonio.
Both Boyce and a second ex-classmate, Nina Rose Nava, recalled as Kelley as a strident atheist.
“He was always talking about how people who believe in God were stupid” and he was “trying to preach his atheism,” Nava told the Mail.
“He was an outcast but not a loner,” Nava also said, describing Kelley as “popular” within the outcast clique.
A third acquaintance of Kelley’s, Michael Goff noted that Kelley “always posted” photos of himself and his baby.
A notable number of people claim either that Kelley recently tried to befriend them on Facebook, or that they took steps to un-friend Kelley because he had been posting oddly.
Kelley’s mother-in-law attended the church where the massacre unfolded.
The congregation at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs appears to have included Michelle Shields, who is Kelley’s mother-in-law.
It’s not clear if Shields was at the church when the shooting occurred.
Kelley lived in a ‘barndominium’ and shot his guns a lot.
According to San Antonio ABC affiliate KSAT-TV, Kelley has lived for several years in “barndominium” in a rural area.
“Nothing abnormal. Regular guy,” neighbor Mark Moravitz told KSAT. “I mean, the only thing unusual across the street is we hear a lot of gunfire, a lot of times at night. We hear gunfire a lot, but we’re out in the country.”
Existing laws likely prevented Kelley from owning the gun he used.
Kelley used a Ruger-AR556 rifle to commit the massacre.
He had bragged about the gun, according to several sources.
He reportedly purchased the gun from an Academy Sports + Outdoor store in San Antonio and checked a box during the purchase which indicated that no criminal history prevented him from buying the weapon.
However, Texas law appears to prohibit anyone convicted of assaulting a family member from within their residence from owning a firearm.
In 2014, the United States Air Force court-martialed and discharged Kelley after he assaulted both his wife and his child, according to a report by The Daily Beast.
As an aside, the weapon Kelley used may have been banned under a 1994 law which expired in 2004.
Kelley appears to have joined the Air Force just after he graduated from New Braunfels High in 2009.
Kelley is dead but it’s not clear how he died.
Kelley fled in his SUV after the shooting late Sunday morning. Police said Kelley stopped shooting after a gun owner — reportedly a 55-year-old man named Stephen Willeford — grabbed his rifle and began returning fire, possibly hitting and injuring Kelley.
Law enforcement officials found Kelley dead in the vehicle in which he fled. He had driven it off the road in the next county over.
Officials are still investigating the cause of death, but they say he likely died by shooting himself or from wounds inflicted by the man with the rifle.

Was sad not to see AJ's kin folk at the source of the Darkness( Empty village).
This two part finale was brilliant,I can't understand how people hate on Star Swirl.Even conservative people can admit they were wrong,not like a pure freak,(Staring at Tirek).
The Pillars of Old Equestria should have their own tv series.They are very appealing to me.
Sad to see Garble is still a dolt.
I laughed at how Star Swirl was in awe at how tall Tia had grown.

The writing staff of MLP is really talented when they can sew stuff from season one into season seven,like a Boss.

I am disappointed in mlp viewers that watched the finale,well before the official airing,this finale was well worth the wait.

P.S., The Twilight DAWW ,after Star Swirl complimented her, was heart bursting,Twili is so cute when her fan addiction is stroked.

This finale makes me happy to be a fan of this MLP realm,(Staring at the brony's) but I still am embarrassed at the fanatical fans.
Reading a good book,then skip to the ending,only to go back and finish where you dropped off is dumb.Their posted spoilers are enraging.
Can't wait for season eight.
