I made a silly video (with my teddy bear!)
Posted 10 years agoSo one of my favorite music artists recently came up with a pretty neat idea for their next music video. Basically, they made a few lip sync head shot videos for the song, and what they want their fans to do is to come up with their own music videos for the song by playing those head shot videos on their tablets and covering their own faces with the tablets while doing fun/interesting things.
If that doesn't make sense, here's the link that the artist made describing how it works.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M8onhYSSxc
So anyway, I thought it would be fun to come up with my own version, and I felt like it would be a fun opportunity to include my teddy, since I figured no one else would do that. And since my face is covered the whole time, I felt like I could keep my anonymity!
So here's the link to the video I made (though I don't know if people outside of the US will be able to watch it):

Today's my ten year anniversary!
Posted 11 years agoThe anniversary of me and my teddy, that is!
Indeed, it was ten years ago that I got my favorite teddy bear in the mail. At the time I didn't really have any plushies, and I wanted to get a super cuddly teddy. So, I found one on eBay and decided to get myself a Christmas present. I was worried that I wouldn't get him in time for Christmas, so I was so happy when I saw the mailman with a big brown box.
As soon as I saw and hugged my teddy for the first time, I knew he was special. Even though I've gotten other plushies since then, none have been as special as my main teddy. I've slept with him just about every single night since I got him.
So Christmas Eve is always particularly special to me for that reason, and this year makes it ten years. Yay!

New characters name question/help
Posted 11 years agoSo recently I've been thinking about adding in two new characters into my fun little babyfur world. The idea behind them is that they would be two big, tough strong male bear characters....they'd be twins and they'd be Digitz's bear cousins.
I really like the idea of the characters, but I'm stumped on names. Since they're twins I'd want them to be something kind of catchy that go together, but definitely something kind of tough too.
So if anyone has any ideas you can think of, feel free to comment here and it might get my brain churning a little bit more.

What's wrong with all of us baby furs?! For years and years we 've been using dumb diapers! :p
In all seriousness, this is just one of those funny new fangled things some scientific person has come up with. I'm sure some rich parents out there who care about every single little thing abou their babies would use this, but it strikes me as quite over-the- top. It is kind of interesting what science has given us, though.

Funny little comic about diapers (non babyfur, non AB)
Posted 11 years agoOne of my friends (who has kids) posted this comic strip about diapers that I had never seen before. It's not one of those silly dirty diaper joke comics that you see everywhere...it's actually kind of an interesting one about how changing diapers isn't all that bad.

About My Last Journal....
Posted 11 years agoAs some of you may have guessed, my last journal about changing my fursona was a total April Fools' joke. I love being a burr and I have no plans on changing my fursona.
There have been times in the past where I've felt like it was a little weird for me to be the skinny bear that I am. But I love my character, I love being unique in that regard, I love all of the pics I've gotten, and I'm super happy just the way I am. I can never predict the future, so who knows if any of that will ever change one day....but I'm super happy with everything right now!
So yes, I's a very happy happy burr.
I'm sorry if anyone had a problem with the joke. I know changing fursonas can be quite a serious topic on FA, and I wouldn't joke about it normally. But I never do any April Fools' jokes IRL and I thought it would be fun to try it on FA...and I thought everyone would see right through it! (and maybe you guys did and were just humoring me to be nice). So again, sorry if it rubbed anyone the wrong way.

Thinking I need a Fursona Change...
Posted 11 years agoSo I've been thinking for a while about changing my fursona. I mean, originally I just kind of chose to be a bear on a whim because I always thought bears were cute. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision.
But when I think about it, and when I see all of the other bear fursonas...I don't quite feel like I fit in. I mean, bears are known for being really big and husky and kind of like they're these huge, almost parental type animals. Every other bear fursona I've seen is like that, and I kind of feel left out.
But I'm kind of a skinny guy, and therefore my fursona is skinny too. And if just doesn't seem right. It seems like there are better animals that would fit me more.
So I'm doing some soul-searching about it, so I guess I'm posting it to see what you guys think, and if you think there might be a better animal for me to use instead.

My First TMI Tuesday: Michelle and Tony!
Posted 11 years agoI figured I might as well give this a try. For my TMI Tuesday, you can ask Michelle or Tony or both any questions you can think of. This can be from the perspective of them being Digitz's parents or his adult friends.
Thank you to all of my FA friends
Posted 11 years agoLike so many other furries on FA, sometimes I have things that happen in life that get me down. For the most part I actually think I'm very fortunate and happy in life, and I'm thankful for that. However, I also have bad days sometimes or times when I just feel down...we all do.
But recently I ran across this song/music video, and it's really been one that's cheered me up. Yes, it's a pretty cheesy/sappy pop song, but it really makes me feel good, especially the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeBv9r92VQ0
And I started thinking that every time I come to FA or chat with FA people, it makes me feel really good too. It's kind of like all of you guys are like the little girl/angel/positive people in the video. You guys are like my angels.
So I just wanted to thank everyone here. You guys are awesome and it always makes FA a happy place for me.

AB/DL Meme
Posted 11 years agoI guess I might as well fill out this meme form....I do like my baby stuff, after all.
Have you ever done any of these things as an AB/DL?
Wear a diaper –
Hee hee...what you do think? Of course!
Wear a diaper to work –
Nope, and I doubt I ever will.
Wear just a diaper outside -
Not outside, nope.
Wear just a diaper in front of someone –
Yep, but only other babyfurs/ABs/DLs
Wear a diaper in front of a family member –
Nope, and I never plan to.
Well, I have worn one underneath clothes around them before, but they never knew.
Told a family member you wear diapers –
Nope, and never plan to.
Told your spouse or S/O that you wear diapers –
Nope, and I would only do it if I completely trusted them.
Told a close friend ¬you wear/like diapers -
Only other babyfur/AB/DL friends. I have no desire to tell anyone besides people in the community.
Have your diaper changed by someone of opposite sex –
Nope, though that would be nice one day.
Have your diaper changed by someone of the same sex –
Nope, but it would be nice if it were the right person.
Shaved your pubic area –
Yep, though I only tried it a few times. It wasn't worth the effort and all of the itching.
I do shave my chest and stomach from time to time, and I do find that it makes me feel more babyish.
Shaved someone else’s pubic area –
Nope, and I have no desire to.
Have infant print diapers/plastic pants –
Yep yep, they're quite nice.
Gone to a party wearing diapers –
Nope, unless you count cons. Might be fun if other people were doing it, though.
Gone to a party wearing just a diaper or baby clothes –
Nope, but same response as the last one.
Wear disposables –
Yep, they're nice.
Wear a cloth diaper –
Every now and again.
Own a pair or pairs of plastic pants –
Yep, but I don't like them that much.
Own and wear infant/toddler clothes (ie. onesies, rompers, shortalls)
Yep, I have a few sleepers and onesies.
Own a pacifier –
Of course.
Own a baby bottle –
Yep, but I don't use it too often.
Met with other diaper lovers for an afternoon/evening –
Yep, especially at AC.
Spent a weekend/overnight with other diaper lovers –
Yep, but mostly at AC.
Had a diaper leak in a public setting, that was noticeable –
Nope. I'm not a heavy wetter.
Messed in your diapers –
Tried it once or twice but didn't like it.
Messed your diapers in public –
Nope, and I never ever plan on doing it.
Had a picture taken taken of you in just diapers –
Hee hee...I've taken some of myself, but not gotten anyone else to.
Had a picture taken outside in just your diapers –
Nope.
Desire to stay in diapers forever –
Nah, I like going back and forth.
Last question! What is your mental age while wearing diapers?
Hard to say, it depends. Sometimes adult, sometimes toddler, sometimes infant.
So there you have it!

Might as well try it.....Whatcha Wanna Know Wednesday
Posted 11 years agoSo, I"ve never done a TMI Tuesday or a Whatcha Wanna Know Wednesday....but since I forgot yesterday, so I've finally decided that I might as well give it a go to see if anyone has any questions for me.
If I get some, maybe I'll try doing more of these in the future.
So ask away, anything you wanna know.
For this one I'll just answer questions myself, but maybe I'll let Tony and Michelle have a go in the future.

Kevin Hart is not a baby
Posted 11 years agoOne of my friends posted this. It's not exactly AB, but it does involve people trying to do babyish things to Kevin Hart. The idea of the skit is that because he's short, they're confusing him with a baby. I found it pretty funny.

Posted 11 years agoI'm not leaving FA. As countless others have posted, FA has its fair share of problems, but I still love it here.
The only reason I"m posting this is that I did make a Weasyl and followed some people on there, just to kind of have a backup already started.

Rock-a-bye baby pop music!
Posted 12 years agoSo one of my friends posted this...I think I had vaguely heard of it before, but hadn't given it much thought:
http://www.rockabyebabymusic.com/home
Basically, it's just babyish instrumentals of popular music. But my favorite part is how the album covers are like the original album covers, but with cute little teddy bears on them. My favorite is the teddy in a diaper doing the Michael Jackson moonwalk!

Re-creating childhood/baby photos
Posted 12 years agoSo on two separate facebook posts today I saw friends posting about this. I had never heard of it before, so I don't know how recent this is, but apparently it's the idea that some people find old childhood/baby photos and re-create the scene as adults.
It looks like most of the time it's done out of humor, like in this link:
http://imgur.com/a/e0iIj
http://www.babble.com/mom/20-of-the.....photos-photos/
It's kind of interesting...not only do you see people doing babyish things, but in a couple they even try to re-create a diaper or other babyish clothes.
I also saw this one, which was more sentimental...it was done by a pair of brothers who wanted to give a gift to their mom.
http://mom.me/in-the-loop/10030-son.....-moms-birthday
Just a kind of interesting little AB-like thing that I had never heard of before.

Might as well write up my AC wrap up
Posted 12 years agoSo I just got back from AC last night, and as usual, it was a blast. This was my third time going, and it's the only con I go to...so every year it's a very special thing. It's really cool to have a chance to connect with other furries and babyfurs in person (furson).
I roomed with
jrabbit
eyanicarea
kokuei
leinkiza and
smilingsammi This was the first time that I roomed with all babyfurs, and it made it really fun because we could always pad up or talk about cub stuff without it being weird to everyone.
I mostly just chilled and relaxed this con. I went to things like Whose Furry Lion Is It Anyway, Floor Wars and the Dance Competition, but mostly it was about meeting up with new furries and having a good time with them.
I met
chandrafusky who's really cool, funny, and fun to hang around. I met
coren and
prodigious9 in person, and we had a lot of good times just chatting and goofing around.
I also got to briefly meet
TyTy and watch the fursuit parade with him, which was a fun time.
I got to have a cool dinner with
redrusker and that was fun.
The airline did lose my bag upon arrival in Pittsburgh, but thankfully it arrived after a few days, so that made me really happy.
I also got some cool new badges, which I'll be uploading soon. I got to meet
dingoroo who is completely nice and cool.
I also got to catch up with
ikato and
atsufawx and had some good times with them.
I think the main thing I love about AC is being able to just relax and have fun with no cares in the world. Connecting with other furries and babyfurs is something that I can't really do most of the time. Online is awesome, but it's not quite the same as enjoying time with people constantly in person, so going to AC always just gives me a certain joy and satisfaction that nothing else can. So even though I'm sad it's over, it was such an awesome time that I feel really really content...especially since I know I'll probably be able to keep on doing it year after year.
So yay! I'm a happy burr!!!

really cool to be here. I won't fill out the meme since I'm on my phone, but if anyone wants to meet up or anything, just send me a note on here since I'll still be checking this FA account.

My birthday and airport teddy bear story
Posted 12 years agoFirst off, yesterday was my birthday, so thanks to everyone who wished me happy birthday!
Second...I've actually been in California this past week, and right now I'm waiting in the airport to go back home. But when I went through security, I didn't take my portable DVD player or ipad out of my carry-on backpack. So, they decided they needed to empty out my bag to check everything....and I had my teddy in the bag! Thankfully it was kind of off to the side, so no one really noticed....but it was kind of funny because after he patted down my teddy (he said he had heard stories of people trying to sneak stuff in through stuffed animals), he left the teddy with me while he went back to run all of the other stuff through. So I had to wait a few minutes there with just my teddy ( though he was lying on a table). Again, no one really noticed, but it felt kinda awkward.
So I had an interesting little end to my trip. Guess I'll know to empty stuff out in the future!
