I am sorry for the silence for the past few weeks along with the lack of progress. News here states side have been demoralizing at best, terrifying at worst and I haven't been in the mood to draw. since then my mood has improved and I am back at it so expect some completion on Kiara and Zira.

Speaking of which the poll results are in and it looks like Sarafina came out on top which means she will be the first one I will do for the final two Lion Queens...though I did warn you what will happen if you chosen poorly😈. I have seen Vitani get threaded throughout this voting process and I have something cooked up for her when I get to this lovely vengeful lioness. Just note that I did warn you all.

As for what's going on in my life, well, this Digidurg finally has her driving permit and is looking to get her license in October or November.

As for what's happening this week, it's my second family reunion this year, and for some odd reason, despite my family telling everyone the house they live in is not a mansion (it's literally a three-bed, three-bath house, not even close to a mansion). We are sadly having many folks from out of town coming here, so this week has been pretty busy. I will try to get some comms done this week. I know I just need to shade and gradient at least one of them along with adding a background, and that is only part one of that. Another one I started sketching, so I'll do everything bit by bit.

Hello Sugas,

Since my last post, I might have found a way to protect my line art from getting stolen by thieves online. It's intrusive, but the plan is to color it with a basic background that I normally use before I color, then plaster my watermark on the piece in a way so it's difficult to remove. I know I shouldn't worry about this sort of thing in the first place because my skills as an artist are still amateur. But as I grow more and more people see my work, I figured it'd best to start now in protecting my artwork.

I will also invest in the Night Shade program to counter any AI data scraping. I haven't really had any incident that I know of with art theft, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

It's been a hell of a year so far. Despite what is happening in my country, I am in a bit happier mood knowing that whatever force is trying to dismantle our democracy is so dumb and incompetent there being held up by our courts(though I do worry about the decision coming by our supreme court next week). Other than that, I have been working on commissions as usual and looking at revising the post-stories that go along with some of my posts. I have started revising one of them and that should be out soon. Like this one right here, this revision would include some grammar corrections and add a bit more flare to the story to make it more interesting. Normally, I would have done it after the 3rd or fourth revision, but honestly, I tend to come up with more and more ideas on how I should tell this post story. Heck, in the future, I might even do some writing, but that is more or less far into the future. Hopefully, I can impress you guys with this latest update of the post story that I mentioned earlier, it took me almost all night to try and complete. I think the only challenge I would have when revising some of these would be the color coding since I used BB coloring to separate out a few characters here and there. Other than that, I feel that it's doable, it just might take me a lot longer to get the grammar situated along with the sentence structure.

Hello Sugas,

It would be an understatement to say it has been a turbulent year so far. Having a lot going on in my country and in my personal life has slowed me down a bit on commission work and other things I wanted to start this year. You can probably see this with my last post to my gallery being Feb 15th of this year, just over two months ago (damn, I missed Macro March XD). I've been working on a few things behind the scenes. I intend to do character auctions in the future, not on the characters I commissioned, of course, but I have several base packages that I can use to create, color, or add detail to. This helps me financially during those dry periods between commissions, and I won't have to keep struggling in between paychecks of my Support job. I have also started the momentous task of taking care of my debts, with the uncertainty of my student loan thanks to...sigh...unorganized policies from a certain wannabe dictator. I would rather not be stuck with this debt in case my student loan provider finally tells me I need to pay, and because of the constant chaos, I have no idea when that will be. Which is fun XD. I'm still working on commission work and trying my best to get it done. I'm still trying my best to get it done. Another one is in the coloring phase and about two are in the lining phase, with three being detailed sketches, which I should be wrapping up pretty soon. I am going to try to do a 2-week on and 1-week off schedule when it comes to commissions, so I don't burn myself out. So after this break week I should be back on the grind with commission work, and hopefully, I will be done soon enough ^^.


And concludes my little update, I still have concerns about what happening around me, but this digidurg isn't giving up just yet. We are living in turbulent times, and I just hope all of us can get past this nightmarish storm together.

I am sorry for the alarm.

What's going on right now in the United States is nothing short of a Coup attempt that I cannot stay silent on. I am sorry to FA and anybody who is going to be affected by this for my speaking out but people have to know what is going on right now in my country, especially those that reside in the US.

Over the weekend, and even now we have an unelected non-government Foreign official (IE Elon Musk: I say foreign because he is technically still South African and has no Identification that he is a US national) trying to seize control of our national treasury red alarm trying to take hold of our nations purse which is supposed to be controlled by our legislature branch. That deals with government payments, VA benefits Like mine, funding, and the f** works. They will have control of every aspect of our government if that happens if they want to crash us to build their Fascist dystopia they will if they wanted to go to war with anybody that may include our allies they will if they want to give us the finger and pocket the money leaving our country in shambles while they have dinner in Russia( or China) and brag how the US is a shithole country THEY WILL. So far there has been pushing back but it has been small, I am hoping that there will be a protest soon and the party that gives an F** about this country (IE Democrats) get off their asses and fight but right now we in the US might need support in the coming days of this country. There is a mass protest called 50/50/1 which will be a mass protest which involves Americans going to each of their capitals in the 50 states and protesting in front of their buildings, including Washington DC. This protest will be a push against Project 2025 (which is a guidebook for the extreme far-right to enforce policies to take control of our government).


I won't be able to do much, I wish I can say f*** it drop everything, and Go to Nashville to join in give me liberty or give me death, but durg sadly does not have the funds, All I can do is try and contact Democratic representatives and pressure them to play extreme hardball and delay, stop, or slow down this process as much as possible, (Would all TN rep, but the Senator and TN rep signed on to project 2025 so the fuck I am doing that).

For those who live in the US, you can join the 50/50/1 protest in your state capitals by February 5, 2025, Our nation needs you. If you cannot phone your reps as much as possible, not to the point of harassment but to the point of making them get off their asses.

For those outside the US we the people need solidarity, know that the decisions of this one-a-be orange dictator are not what all Americans voted for, I am not asking you to send supplies or anything like that but that is much encouraged. Send messages of hope and encouragement as much as possible if you can, and please do not let this message die out spread this around as much as possible, do not allow us to go peacefully into that goodnight.

I am hoping the FA mods will not take this down....this is way too important to ignore and I am so terrified of what may happen. I am looking to flee if all options fail, but for right now the best I can do is not let this message die out.

Hello Suggas,


My friends gave me some great suggestions, so I've chosen to start posting my work in progress in a different way. Moving forward, I will be breaking my projects into three stages: rough draft, detailed sketch, and completion. Each stage will be shared on my subscription accounts (like Patreon and Subscribestar), and after some time has passed (around a week), I will share them on my public accounts. You may have noticed that I haven't included anything related to Lining on that list. I've been informed that doing so puts my art at risk of being stolen, colored in, my credit revoked, and even a commissioner's character taken for malevolent purposes. I refuse to put my art in danger of being stolen by someone who doesn't want to learn how to draw, like those AI promoters. I don't think I'm good enough to warrant art theft, though there have been many attempts to get free art from me using different methods. My only exception to this rule is when I'm working on a commission and the commissioner specifically requests line art (like with @bassman97—my apologies for picking on you, but you're the most recent line art commissioner). Alternatively, if it's something we're working on privately, like a progress update, the commissioner can always ask me to show them.

Hopefully, by doing this, I will be able to take my time and not rush through it. That was a major worry of mine due to burnout; on top of that, I'm crossing my fingers that this helps to order things and doesn't cause too much trouble for the commissioners. Whether it's by just favoriting my artwork or by cheering me on through the comments, I also want to thank you all for sticking around and supporting me.

Over the last few weeks, I took a mental health break. Not to worry; I have no intention of missing out on drawing or commission work (especially the latter; I am not a thief). A question developed in my thoughts during this period of trying to organize myself. Would everyone prefer it if I only displayed three primary WIPs before the finished image? Alternatively would it be preferable to show my work step by step? This question dawned on me when I realized I might be working far too quickly to exhibit precise development of my work. And that is beginning to cause me to burn out from it all, something I do not desire. I also reasoned that materials like that should be kept on hand for the commissioners to ask for advancement on their projects. I would also like present a finished item instead of only inundating you with pictures; I feel as though my just presenting every bit of my work is merely padding my gallery. So in turn, would you guys rather I concentrate on merely displaying at least three important steps of the drawing process, or is what I am now doing more effective?

I, both Digi and Poke, durgs are now 32 years old...and still working at Walmart sadly XD. But like I said in my previous determination post in November, I am planning on making a change on that soon. I have already started job hunting, and next weekend I am going to start posting my graphic design art on other social media platforms. I will also be signing up for... *sigh* FIVERR *sees them rubbing their greedy little hands* in order to better present myself and pick more clients for my freelancing.

I don't normally try and spread my situation on other platforms, but I sadly am out of options. Normally I would be fine with paying my bills, but the place I work has this end-of-year payroll crap that prevents me from withdrawing from my paycheck till the 1st. Add onto the stomach bug that I went through this Christmas eve that drained my savings in order to handle it, along with not receiving a payment from a client today, and well yeah, now I am in a bit of a bind.

I know full well that I still have other commissions to work on, but sadly, this is me trying to pay off last-minute bills.

I will go as low as 10 dollars for sketching, which can go up to 20 dollars depending on if you want additional character and a detailed sketch.

This will be limited time until I am able to be financially secured. I thank everyone for the consideration of anyone interested in getting a commission from me at this time. To my current people I am commissioning, I do apologize for how long it has been getting your stuff done and updated. I am hoping to post some WIPs of your work soon next week.

Well....we're fucked,

I am still in disbelief that we sleepwalked ourselves back to 2016, but here we are again, round 2 of chaos after the break from it. I'm not going to sugarcoat it with you guys: Digi and Poke Durgs are terrified completely, but we will not allow whatever comes our way. We are like Captain America after being told to stay down. we get back up, wipe the blood from our lips, hock that loogy to clear our throats, raise our fist back up, and say, "We can do this shit all day." Right now, I need to be strong for myself, my friends, and my family and love   Kizo_Arceus This Digi Durg and Poke Durg will not give up without a fight; like John Lewis says, "Get into good trouble," we will make those bastards' lives a living hell if they come for us.

With all that being said, this recent development has put my ass back in gear; I am going to eat these commissions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, even if it means dusting off that old Asus laptop and taking it with me to work so I can work on them on my lunch break I will do that. I will also start updating what I have as far as commissions go. I haven't been doing that lately but will restart it now. Honestly, I should have never stopped. Secondly, I will start posting my SFW logo art to an SFW account on Bluesky, and I will begin to advertise myself on Fivver (shivers at the thought) to get more clientele. I am equally terrified of that, too, but fuck it, if the next four years are going to be hell for me, then I will face that fear head-on.

Finally, I am tired of being in debt, and due to recent events, I am looking to be in more debt (look at that student loan debt). I will do everything in my power, from talking with my credit union to going to GoFundMe to get myself out of it, with the last resort being Chapter 7. If you guys are willing to help with this, I would most appreciate it, but I must also attack this head-on.

It will be scary, guys; I won't lie to you. Whatever comes in the next four years will be hell; we have to be ready to fight for every inch, and I mean every inch. I love how this community comes together; I have experienced it multiple times in my 13 years on this platform. I know we will weather this storm together and fight like hell to keep others safe; I just want to thank you all for giving me a home away from home for all these years.

Now where does Roleplaying fit into all of this, sadly when it comes to Roleplaying...it will be on the back burner, not only because of the burnout that I am experiencing from Roleplaying. But I am sadly looking at a future where it may just be limited greatly to a few friends and my boyfriend. I don't think I have it in me anymore to go full-out on RP. I tried to hold on several different times, and each time I got a jolt of inspiration to open myself up. However, I don't think I can keep this up any longer, and I am finding myself too busy to try and have an Open RP with anyone other than my boyfriend and a few friends that I usually RP with.

So this Digidurg is stepping away from the public RP scene, and putting all that effort into my artwork, maybe she will come back to RP in the future but for now, that is all

Holy hell What a year it has been for this both this Poke and Digi Durgs,

My support Job has been mostly busy, and my Graphic Design Job has been mostly quiet, I have been through multiple fronts of upheavals, too many to count. To the point that I have been slow to work on commission work.

But that is another topic for another time, right now I would like to announce after taking some considerable time to think about this I am making some changes to the subscription services that I signed up for, particularly about the pricing. Now most of My Patreon and Subscribestar are nothing more than Tip Jars--since sadly I can't afford to do art full time yet--but I plan on editing out the tiers so it is more beneficial to the subscribers

Starting with Patreon, I am planning to make the 10-tier both a sketch and base color tier for those who donate a little extra, I am still going to leave the 5-tier for those who would like to see the final product or any WIP images that I do....which reminds me I better start posting this back catalog of WIPs I am doing lol.

For Susbscribestar, I am planning on getting rid of that $20 base color tier and combining it with the $10 sketch tier. This should add uniformity across my subscription services and will allow it to be more affordable to people who want to donate a little extra on that platform. I know Subscribestar doesn't have to pay when something is posted like on Patreon, so this should ease a lot of financial burdens on the subscribers if they decide to subscribe higher than $5


I am looking for other platforms, looking at what happened to Gumroad and getting the sickening feeling that Patreon might start cracking down, Discord seems to be a more favorable route when it comes to subscription services. so I am looking into that more and more as time goes on.

Still doing some commission work for those who just want to a commission from me, and again These services I use are more or less Tip Jars for those who want to help support me in between commissions. either way, I thank you all in general for supporting me as an artist starting These Durgs do appreciate it.

Going to try and do a monthly update with all of you this year, to discuss what I have been doing as of late. I have made some changes since the last time, though they have been slow due to me working two jobs, my support Job a Walmart and Job as a freelancer as a design artist.

- I have decided as an Alternative to Patreon to go with Subscibestar, I have made this decision because despite me being able to post NSFW content on Patreon

1. I know that I am probably getting blacklisted

2. I know as someone who does NSFW content on Patreon, the platform has been notorious of one day doing mass bannings of NSFW accounts, grant it I haven't seen this myself but with corporations like Patreon I am not taking any chances.

- With that being said I might close down my Kofi, I will have I will have to make a determination probably next month. I have decided to still keep my Patreon up until I can't any longer because of what was noted before, and I will try to post on both platforms. I have also decided to move my time limit on posting Patreon/Subscribestar content from 5 days to two weeks in advance, I found many examples of other creators doing that and finding success in subscribers so I will give it a shot. I will be trying to post more frequently as well on those platforms and here, whether its a WIP image that I am working on or fully finished. Just got to get my head right for it.

-Going to change my tiers of Patreon up a bit and add in an extra tier to match with my Subscribestar tier. These are the following tiers that I am going for

1. $5 Tip Jar Tier: basic tier that allows you access to my content two weeks in advance

2. $10 Sketch Tier: this tier works like the before where you can request a sketch image from me every month (I am going to try it for every month though I may change it if it becomes overwhelming)

3. $20 Color Tier: something experimental for me, but if you guys are willing to go that extra step, you can request a colored image from me every month (again timeline may change that)

- I am looking into shines here on FA but what's making me bulk at that is that I have to maintain my FA+

- I have made a new server for Subscribestar and Patreon I just got to work on it a bit more before I start opening it up for people, a lot of security and legal stuff I got to do on that server, to make it safer for users.

- I will of course have a link ready for Subscribestar on my page here on FA and will update my link tree to include it

With that being said, I am going to hold off on using   b9tribeca or any other artist to help update my characters Pics. *hears screams of an African man in the distance* This is not because I hate these artists, it mostly has to do with; one being an artist myself, I would like to take first crack on updating my own characters; two financially I have a student loan debt and credit card debt to worry about so yeah, I have to be careful when commissioning somebody, don't get me wrong, I still am in contacts with two people right now to pay for a commission. This digidurg can no longer be balling like that anymore.

2. I am moving from Patreon, This isn't because I am not getting any traffic other than some user's just watching me for free, I mean that's expected since my page mostly acts as a tip jar. I am moving away from it due Patreon cracking down on NSFW content, and I don't want to be the next target in their sights. I am thinking of moving to either Subscribestar (though their payment system seems a bit too complex) or using the shinnies method here on FA

3. By the end of this year and into next year I am going to raise my commission prices up just a bit, and step away from doing full time at my support job and switch to a part time position, I am slowly starting to transition into doing artwork as a full time job, this is going to be one of many careful steps I plan to do in order to get use to using my artwork as a primary income, and in the long term my support jobs will switch from retail to full time freelancing for Graphic Design (you know the thing I went to School for XD). I understand when an artist changes up their prices, but not to worry, I am not going to the extremes this will be a small incremental change to my prices. That being said, I do need to survive as an artist, and at some point my life has to be straight before I am 40 at least lol.

4. I am planning on focusing more on my artwork and doing art trades with writers and artist, Artwork drives, and building up more of my Social Media presence. I am going to branch myself out more, and though it will be rough since I suffer from Anxiety and low confidence, I believe that I can pull through with this decision. Especially with all of you supporting this Digi Durg

So that is what I am going to try and focus on this year, It's not going to be easy, and there will be some low points that will knock me off this path from time to time, but with each of y'all supporting this Digi Durg I believe I can make this achievable.

Hello there Sugas

With Commissions getting done, and me feeling well-rested, I have decided to create a day-to-day schedule of what I am going to do in order to not lose track of time when it comes to commission work and such. this will also give me some days to save for RPs and such so in a way yeah scheduled RPs are back...slightly

here is how I am working it out

Commission and Drawing

1. Sundays and Mondays 930 AM - 530 PM

2. Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8 PM - 9:45 PM

3. Friday being my show progress day

Role-Playing

1. Thursdays and Fridays 8 PM - 9:45 PM

2. Sundays and Mondays 12 PM - 1:45 PM



Saturdays will be considered my free time


This schedule is subject to change from time to time especially when there are things that will be out of my control, I am hoping that organizing myself like this will help me speed up my drawing and commission work so you guys won't have to wait long for me to even drop an image. In fact, the only wait you will have to endure is me posting my images on my Patreon first before posting them here and on other socials that I am in 5 days later

This also gives me time for RP sessions and allows me to be as flexible as I can with those as well.

In other news, by the end of this month, I will be deactivating my last Twitter account, https://twitter.com/Transcend42069. this account was my art account that has turned into a linked account for my other socials after I left Twitter. It would have been fine as a link for people to find me, however due to the hostile environment and the greedy fingers of someone who created that hostile environment. *looks at the Fascist Muskrat who's currently occupying the CEO spot* I can not find it sustainable to keep that up so sadly I am closing it down. I will be posting a Link tree for all of my Socials in my Journal for those still wanting to find me.

Welp, I did it

As I stated in my previous journal found here==>Previous Journal I would be signing up for a subscription service like Subscribestar or Patreon, to help me financially when I am down on hard times. I realized I probably need to do this because commissions can only do so much before bills come in and rob me of whatever I have...I also still have a student loan to worry about so yeah, this is the route I am going to be taking. I will have to set one up for my strictly SFW graphic design profile as well.

I will mostly post stuff there first give or take 3 days earlier before I start posting stuff here, and most of those who do join will find that the payment will be by creations just to not mess up on the workflow and wouldn't be charging people for each month I don't post anything, I will be switching to a monthly plan once I start doing artwork full-time.

I have two tiers available one being a $5 tip jar tier and the other being a $10 tip jar tier with a reward of getting a free sketch ^^ I have limited the slots to 5 to make sure I do not strain myself workflow-wise, I will be creating another list for this tier in particular.

For those who commissioned me do not worry your stuff will be handed to you on that exact day that the commission is finished ^^

This is something entirely new for me, I thought opening a Patreon would be out of reach for me due to my anxiety about opening up a bit, but ever since I have found a little bit more confidence in my artwork I think I am ready to try this next step.

In other news, since I cannot post NSFW content on Kofi I am thinking of using Subscribestar to post my work over there and set up membership tiers over there. this will most likely function like my Kofi with the added bonus of posting my work without having to worry about it being struck down.

OK, so today after speaking with my insurance on my disability claim they noted that my doctor stated that I should be able to return to work on September 28th, 2023 not November 28th, 2023. What gets me really frustrated about this is that they knew this information, and did not even tell me during my follow-up appointment after my surgery, so now I feel like total shit for even making that post yesterday cause now as far as I can see I will be only hurting for at least 1 month instead of 4 months.

I do apologize for yesterday's post, I was going off the now-defunct information that was presented to me after surgery and made a call to lean heavily in the tip jar and commissions, because I thought I wouldn't have a viable income for the next 3 months. This news though good really caught me off guard and I felt like at least for those who have supported me they need to know. With all that is being sad commissions are still open until I get back to work in late September and I do have a Tip Jar open with Kofi for those who still like to help out
