So I booked my table and Ive got a good idea of what Im going to be displaying. However, the real question now is how to properly showcase my work. Im looking into getting a banner or 2 printed and a stand behind me with examples of my work as well as info etc. But what I want to know is this, what are your experiences with setting up at conventions. What companies do you go through for printing your banners, where do you get your stands from, etc. Also what are some of the mistakes youve made in the past with publicly showcasing your work?

Hey kids, while booking is not available yet Im hard at work setting up stuff for the Manchester Expo comic con for this year. Last years con was a fun if hectic event, and this year will be my first time displaying work. While obviously theres limits to what I can display Ive received alot of requests for some of my adult stuff to be sold there, so Im re-activating my 30 pinup girls project from last year, but this time in Print!

I will be including brand new and exclusive art, and even something a little different for those who dont want to carry heavy junk in their bags. Very excited for this con, hope to see you crazy Iff Yiffy buggers there too!

So, heres a simple but loaded question. Ive received some good impressions from people about the 3-D artwork. But heres the thing, despite me working on the layout, posing, character design, lighting and even paying a small fortune on models to work with, it doesnt feel like Art to me. I feel like Im lazily posing figures around and just taking snapshots rather than making art. My question is however, do you guys think 3-D on its own is acceptable? Ive always kinda found it limiting by what the available models are.

So yeah, you want me to create more of these things?

Why yes, there are conventions in this little old UK of mine, and Ive been asked a few times when I'd be heading to them. While Im not sure about heading to a con thats 100% for the Furries (Im an artist, not a fursuiter etc) I figure I may as well take the plunge. I am kinda bugged that Confuzzled is no longer in manchester but much further south this year. Will be looking into travel arrangements for that one. However Theres no way I can head to Inverness for the Scotia Con. There would need to be some SERIOUS interest from people to get me to head up there. Im not dissing the place ot the con, both of which look cool but dont hold your breath for me to head all the way up there. Yet.

I can confirm I'll be in costume at the Manchester con in July, complete with portfolio and a fair few prints too. That con last year was superb, albeit it waaay to small a venue space for the number of folk that showed up. Looking forward to seeing how this year shapes up!

Also currently checking out a few other cons in the general North West England area but for the time being these 3 are the only ones I can solidly confirm or deny. See ya!

Hello people, long time no chat. Basically Ive found myself in a little bit of a bind and its all my fault. Yes, Ive been completly hoist upon my own petard, or in more understandable parlance, Ive buggered up royally.

Now Ive been reciving a contribution from people towards my current computer. She's a nice sleek beast of a mchine that has been incredibly useful in the creation of the various projects and pieces Ive been working on for the past year. However, thing is those contributions actually didnt end up going to the place they were supposed to, and there is still a huge amount of money left owing on it.

This is not a problem. As I said, I HAVE the money, all I need to do is transfer it in payment of the computer and all is well. At least it would be if I didnt have a more pressing need with my funds. As you may know my Girlfriend 'Ajahli' lives in America, and Ive been meaning to get the tickets to see her. Its a non-inconsiderable abount of £500 for the tickets, and obviously this computer issue has seriously thrown me off.

So here we go. What I am doing is a serious push in commissions and donations in order to help catch up the difference and see her next year before her next trip in june. Ive felt like a real louse letting this computer's payment weigh down on me all these months and the fact is I miss her. Alot. So come on kids! Help a guy out and hire him would ya? I honestly am NOT the biggest fan of asking for donations, and would much rather be working for his money, but if you dont want or cant afford some custom art then you can always drop a few pennies my way. Im also resurrecting the 30 pinup collection I released earlier in the year. Re-tooling and redrawing a large chunk of it and selling individual prints as well as working on a whole new project. If you noticed in my Fur Affinity gallery there was the preview for "Guilty Little Pleasures" a new adult one-shot story featuring Devillo in what is 'hopefully' a non-canonical adventure of him wandering the sleazy side of his hometowns nightlife. Each page will be released after a certain donation amount has been reached. Ive seen a few artists do work like this and Im curious to see how it works out.

Also Im going to try and be alot more regular with my How to Video's, which you can all find in the video section of my website. Theres a large amount of footage waiting to be processed of work featuring a few of my different styles, and I have plans to look at other types of software which i think artists may find useful, such as Google Sketchup etc.

I think that pretty much says it all. Ive been doing freelance Illustration for over 7 years now and hiring me is not only affordable but an assurance of a critical eye and a open minded hand.

Hey guys. So I live in the Manchester area of the UK, and Im currently trying to locate a nice cartoonist/Illustration group I can hook up with. Sadly atm having major issues with locating one online. Planning on hitting up the local comic stores and seeing what I can find over the weekend. Ah, hey kids, VERY long time no speak. its kinda funny to me that Ive been SO busy making art i haven't had the time to share any with people. Yes Ive posted a few scant journals about things that are coming up but really who gives a fuck? Ive been desperate to get commissions and feedback from people on several boards and sites, but not bothered to update my content. So yeah, apologies for the mis-managing of my gallery. Rest assured I will be posting my works in progress again soon. And yes you heard me, I said works in progress. In regards to the bulk of my recent work, the 30 black and white pinups, those finished versions are exclusive to the pdf only. i may post a few of them over time but for the most part they stay exclusive.

What i will show are my initial sketches, progression pieces and a look at how I came to the final design. Also I am more than happy to post previews of any and all commissions I will hopefully get. Which leads me to prices. For those of you wonderfully yiffable people who have been keeping tabs on me, my prices have been going all over the place. I have been seriously trying for a long time now to get a price that not only appeals to people, but is actually worth the time and effort I put into my craft. (seriously, I do try my best kids) So yeah, once again prices are elastic and as reasonable as Im going to allow. My first priority is injecting some more life into this place, but second is getting a regular intake of commissions. Trust me kids, Im worth it.

The next thing on the agenda is conventions. I actually had an opportunity to go to the further confusion con in manchester this month, and chickened out. why? Well because at the time I had no new art, I had nobody to hook up with and was very insecure about my own abilities etc. Well thats all over and done with. Now Im busy looking for any and all conventions I can drag myself out too. Theres a nice Manchester based one sometime in july, but for the moment they STILL have no site or info up. Worrying. But yes, i intend to be there, not exhibiting, just soaking in the atmosphere and getting some ideas for when I start.

Well thats pretty much all i can think of atm. Im happy to say my 30 image pdf will be on sale from monday the 30th of May, and will be at a nice low price of £3. If things work out a print collection of the color art may also materialise, who knows. but for now Im back to working on the Devillo Comic. Yep, the 6 issue saga of devillo's twisted family is back baby. Catch you all soon darlings!

Basically over the past few months I've been going through a little break from creating, just took a few months to myself to sort a few things out etc, and now with the new year I feel refreshed and energised. So in the spirit of new creation and all that Im re-opening commissions, this time with a more practical pricing range.

The basic gist is Im charging more for my art. The main reasons for this are that after 5 years of doing commission work I think its only fair Im able to earn a reasonable amount from the amount of time I put into every image I create, and also Im currently raising money for accommodation and travel expenses for a little trip for my delightful mate Ajahli.

All prices are listed here, and I currently am starting the opening with 5 slots from each gallery I post work on, so if you watch me on multiple locations you have a better chance of getting your commission worked on! Each price is based on the idea of it being only 1 character with a simple/no background. All extra's listed below.



£15/$30 - Detailed Full Pencil drawing.



£30/$46 - Fully inked Digital inking. Black and white art at its best.



£60/$93 - Digitally Colored lineart.



£90/$140 - Digital Painting. The most refined and high end of the scale



All images will be A3 (29.7cm/42cm) print resolution emailed as hi-rez print files, as well as all non adult work printed and mailed to the client for an extra fee to take care of postage etc. Sadly I cant print off adult work at that scale as of yet, so you will need to make use of the file on your end.

All the money will be going to a very worthy cause, and an urgently needed one as the deadline is early March. The plane tickets have thankfully been booked but accommodation is sadly being a bit of a trial. I would seriously appreciate any and all help you guys can give, and all work will be done to the highest of quality!

Im a Freelance Illustrator with a background in Graphic Design, and recently my computer of 5 years cad an issue with the Graphics card.after some condescending attitude about buying a new comp to replace my antique.... I basically decided to bite the bullet and get on with raising the money required to get a replacement machine. The price listed is the absolute cheapest Mac I could get which would handle the work I do.

All things considered the money is more of a buffer, as I would end up paying monthly (which in the long run is more money, but at least Im not losing a huge chunk of my money in one gulp).

Now, Im not asking you to donate out of the goodness of your hearts, heck no. You will get something for your money.

Hey everyone. Me and  deadpan have been talking for a while now about trying to raise money for plane tickets, and basically we are both willing to do just about anything to grab that money. And by that I mean we are your willing Art Slaves!

Any and all commissions will go towards the overall big ass pot of money that needs filling. We are looking at somewhere in the region of £500 £600 in all, so thats about $750 to $900. We are also open to suggestions from other folks about methods for raising the cash, such as Ladder auctions of original work and other exclusives.

Hey gang. Thigs are really bad at my end atm and Im currently looking for just about any commissions to keep me going. Im close to finishing the sketches for  baxter0 and the Vanguard crash for  LINCARD1000 but regardless of that I need some serious cash injections now. So, anything go's, you get your print size file with no watermarks or sig emailed to you and you can stick it on your gallery etc.
