Kinda feeling the Xmas blues more & more. I’m not exactly keen on sharing details at this point, but frankly it’s nothing new. I’m just tired. And I love you guys, honest I do. I’m just getting tired of seeing how much shit people I care about are having to wade through, as well as my own growing list of personal self hatred crap.
I do plan in addressing that in a semi amusing way in the near future, but for now all I feel like saying is I’m tired of being an Artist who doesn’t create anything. My entire life has been stuck on pause for far too long & at 29 with a Fiancé, I really need to get my shit together.

Hello my Furry Friends! Its been way too long hasnt it? Work has been crazy the past few months, the last weekend in Manchester we had the MCM Expo, a huge convention which overran the Gmex centre in town. I was there with a table representing both myself and the company Project Million Entertainment, with their web-show Con Men. Basically I was interviewing people in costume as well as independent creators, getting footage of the show to provide a bitesize look at the event for anyone interested in attending in the future.

The good news is the Convention was an incredible sucsess. So many wonderful people spoke with us, we got over 13 GB of video and the new viewership response on the site was through the roof. I cannot sing the praises of the convention visitors or the other exhibitors enough. The best event Ive had in my life, fact. However the plan was that after Manchester we were heading out to Canada to Con Bravo, and from there we would be also travelling to LA for Vidcon. These were paid for flights by the PME & as a fan of websites like TGWTG & the people attending I was incredibly excited. However those plans have sadly fallen through and atm kinda in limbo as I await details from the company. I have been told we are doing 'something' in Canada but 2 days after when they said they would get in contact with me Im starting to feel less than happy with the situation.

Sadly after talking with other contributors this appears to be a regular thing so naturally my opinions have been a little soured in regards to my trust of the company and my future plans. However, at this point in time Im still working as lead artist and intend to continue producing art from them online.

Since my plans have utterly collapsed on themselves however Im not going to be at my job for a little while since I booked off a huge chunk of time for my Canada/LA trip. Since I have all this free time I can either mope around and play the $160 worth of games I bought in the Steam Summer sale (oh yeah) or I can get back into the driving seat and get some art done.

Hey kids! First of all I want to say a very big thankyou to all my new watchers recently. Things have been so quiet for the longest time, and Ive felt like a real jerk for not being as active as I used to be here. Well since I decided to dump the exclusive art idea I ended up posting a ton of the early sketches and inks Ive amassed over the past 2 years. What floors me is how popular all this was. Those who know me on other sites and Twitter will know Ive been going through an... 'awkward' creative patch the past 2 years, experimenting with a medium and field which ended up just crashing and burning around me. So it means so much to come back to doing the classic digital artwork for you guys, its been a sheer delight!

So, what does the future hold? Well Im trying my hardest to get regular updates here with new art every week. Im also hammering sites like Hentai Foundry, Inkbunny, Weasyl and more for support and Commissions, since I now have a Lady Wolf in my life to handle! *grin* Im also hard in design mode with Heirs to the Throne once again. After taking a break from the project and returning to it with fresh eyes, I saw that the overall story I wanted to tell just couldn't be contained in the format i had planned, so as of now Heirs to the Throne is an ongoing long-form comic that shall be released in chunks episodically over a period of what could be years. Im currently in talks with a few people about the best way to proceed, but expect more character designs and info to be released in the next few weeks.

Im also still working on Wormwood every now and then, but thats definitely taking a backseat to Heirs now. I recently posted a few pics of a new creature concept for the project, a Cthonic/lovecraftian creature which I may end up expanding on and having it appear in other future works as well, we shall see.

Hey kids, pretty damn sure your aware of Demicoeur by now. If not she's an amazingly talented artist and comic creator who's working on a pretty interesting project. She's basically putting together a mass of art tutorials which she's generating from her years of creating awesome art, and is working on selling them together as one comprehensive package. This is everything from colour theory, backgrounds, character design, lighting and painting techniques for the digital artist's, so in a nutshell this sounds like an ESSENTIAL buy for those of us who ogle work like hers and wonder how the hell they did it.

At this exact moment in time Im actually working on a comic/graphic novel featuring my main character Devillo, called Heirs to the Throne. Its a black comedy with some dark humour, no adult content as such, just a good interesting story with some pretty messed up characters!

Been working my ass off on hammering out more of the backstory for Heirs to the Throne, finally figured out alot more of the sinister cruel and sordid backstory for the Devianti family. Hopefully I can figure out some stuff and crack on with character designs through the week. Im also planning on uploaded character sections for each of the major players in the handy character section of the Weasyl site https://www.weasyl.com/profile/devillo Pretty cool addition!

Ive been hard at work figuring out the family tree, who's related to who in what way and how they have screwed each other over in the past. Fun times! Should have a few interesting family crests etc in the pipeline too, so watch out for those. Ive also been looking through the plot breakdown and character plotlines for the overall story and its starting to become apparent that I will not be able to do this project justice If I do it alone. I have been thinking about speaking to one or two other creatives out there if they would be interested in assisting me with the scripting side of things. However at the moment I may even need to consult the fandom for an additional artist or two! Things are at an early stage still but Im curious, who would be interested in working on a long-form graphic novel featuring my characters?

Also since many people have been doing pages based on a donation scheme, i.e. every time they get a fixed amount donated they then upload and work on a new page. Since Heirs is a fairly long story Im not sure if that model is appropriate to what I have planned. If I only did the early chapter then maybe. Another thing Im considering atm. If anyone has any thoughts on the matter I would be very grateful to hear them!

Hey kids, while working on getting back into the swing of things I thought I'd revive the weekly tradition of me posting a random bit of adult entertainment I'd discovered through the week. Right, so heres the situation. In a month or so Im going to be heading out to America for the first time to hook up with my GF, The tickets are booked and that side of things is all taken care of. However, I am finding myself running low on funds. After paying all the costs for the convention, the computer and a few other outgoing annual payments, its looking like Im going to be flat broke by the time I head over there, which I have been informed can be an issue with some Customs.

Anyways, Im not pan-handling. Im working on opening commission slots to help me out so guys, who would like a single character flat color pic of their character for £10/$15.99. This is a special drop from the normal £17/$27.19 for flat color work. Currently got 5 slots open to see where things go.

Im also looking into selling the handmade prints from the convention via Etsy so more on that soon.

Well the Manchester Expo was simply amazing. I had a great time chatting to people there about their costumes, movies, games and all the other good stuff. One of the things that really interested me was how much response there was for my one and only Furry piece (the Rainbow Tiger pic) which kinda made me regret not bringing more of my anthro art there. Although to be fair kids, a TON of my Furry art is NOT for kids! Heh, so you can rest assured that yes, I AM MAKING MORE FURRY ART! I know Ive said that before but a TON of people at the con asked for it so give the people what they want!

I also found it interesting that the best selling piece was the old Gruntsplosion pic of a Halo Grunt getting a Sticky Grenade. I did that pic years ago and its still so popular? KK, expect a ton more goofy game inspired art to boot.Does this mean that my original Furry comic Heirs to the Throne is getting sidelined? um, nope! Im currently hard at work script-doctoring all the lil plotholes and pacing issues the old script had, and Im not going to be releasing anything substantial until I have the full script locked down. This is going to be a big one!

Last but not least I also have my new locked pricelist for commissions. This updated and improved list better covers the different services I provide as an artist and designer for hire, including title cards for video producers, Logo design, Pinups (which is what most of you guys will be interested in) and digital Paintings which are 'art' pieces designed for canvas. Im excited to see where things go for the future here kids, and cannot wait to show you some of the things I have cooking!
