After seeing some of the AMAZING outfits at FWA Ive been on & off about wether or not Im ever going to be trying out a Fursuit of my own. Simple fact is Im an artist, I love my characters etc but more often than not I dont consider myself to be a dragon or anything, being a British Bi-curious Polyamarous Hentai artist with a love of BDSM is probably more than enough character traits without throwing in that I also self identify as a money loving Dragon as well. Plus lets be honest the cost is freaking astronomical & since ALL my money is going into moving to America to be with my Wolfie  reaperking theres not much point.

However, after doing some research I came across a place that actually manufactures the individual parts many fur-suiters use for sale via etsy etc, & since I would only ever go for a partial anyway (head & hands, maybe a tail) the cost is actually super low. Wow so it’s been a while since I pulled my finger out & actually did some writing. Or much of anything, heh. So I’m over halfway through my vacation in Memphis with my Future-wife Ajahli & we have had some real interesting developments with our ongoing life situation.
First of all we went to the Furry Weekend Atlanta convention, bloody amazing time, met some amazing people & was without a doubt the best convention I have ever been too. The problem with the local (Manchester UK) cons I’ve been to is that they are just over glorified shopping sprees where the small independent creators are all but shoved out, & the smaller cons I’ve been to in America were a little too poorly organised & ramshackle for my tastes.
FWA was superb however. As well as hooking up with the AMAZING Adri Tibbs (who me & Ajahli have known for over 15 years now) we went to some damn interesting panels ranging from character design to writing compelling stories, & made enough notes to create our own book. Speaking of we did spend a small fortune on things as well, but frankly every single artist we saw at the convention was either amazing or awesome to talk to. Had a real blast & it’s the sign of a good con that you feel guilty you don’t have enough money to buy from EVERY artist there. We even saw a few faces from last years FangCon in Knoxville, & was fun catching up with those guys.
The best thing of all though was hooking up with an artist from my own home town who was now living in America with his partner, who were both selling stuff at the convention. They put us in touch with their Immigration lawyer & after some tentative questions we are all but set to begin the process to get me living in Memphis with Ajahli! Very very cool stuff.
Of course alongside the approx $2k we need for the marriage visa we are also looking into a new apartment, a green card & then a new job hopefully in the design industry. The process for the marriage visa is somewhere around 6-8 months so it’s likely to be next year when the big move takes place. In the meantime we will be gearing up for the first major project Lunar Blaze will be undertaking. Can’t talk too much about it yet but this one has had a lot of thought put into it, & we hope you guys enjoy it!
It has been an interesting experience, & a really inspiring one overall. However it would be remiss of us to not admit that we were also a little frustrated at starting over at square one. Our followers from previous projects will know that we have been dipping our toes in different pools for several years now, & have had difficulty getting traction in the past, so seeing the huge variety of interesting & creative people doing well was a bit of a wake up call to step up our game. And we shall. Rest assured of that kids!
Well that’s all I can think of for now. We have a few more days before I’m forced to fly back to England once again, but at least this time we have a much stronger & solid plan for all the things to come. Things are going to be awesome guys. Honestly we are so excited for the things coming, just you wait!

Hey guys! Running a little behind this week with some of the new pieces I have been working on, I do on average try to get at least 2-3 images uploaded each week but a mix of Work & the ongoing Immigration problems I've been having have really eaten into my free time. I am super pleased that my recent work has gone down as well as it has, and I'm super excited to see what you guys make of the stuff that's coming soon!

I will say that while I'm going to go on promoting my Patreon for the foreseeable future, the current EU tax issue means that I technically cant provide any additional benefit/incentive without having to manually handle all the different percentages from different countries etc so for now its just there as a big donation pool. Well my first week in America has been pretty fun, for Halloween I relaxed with Ajahli & watched a few goofy yet entertaining movies (plus an interesting William Castle doc). Then we got stuck in & are all but done with bringing our webcomic Grim Reaper School to a close so we can focus on our plans for our Studio, Lunar Blaze.

Now I'm just packing up for our trip to Fang Con, no table or sales this time around but we are going to be walking the floor, maybe checking out the local sights & chatting to folk at artists alley. Not had time to make any kind of badge or costume but if you see a dude with a waistcoat & ponytail walking a cute girl around feel free to say hello!

Once I return to England in a week or so, I do have plans to get stuck in with the choose your own adventure hentai game which I mentioned in the past. Expect something solid to appear by the end of November. Round about that time I'm also planning on bringing back my Lets Play videos on YouTube, maybe a return to my personal fave run with Dead Space 2? We shall see.

Im just curious about how to set up the mechanics so Im not totally ripping the guy off, its just a lil tricky because he seems to have made a nice workable system & Im stuck on how to create something different. Im also a little busy trying to re-fit some of the original game's plot structure so people can have a game where the sex isnt once every 7-8 pages, and also since its very easy in my early game design for the character to die, Im thinking of rotating out player characters in that eventuality, so maybe adding more character classes with specific abilities to effect the story could be interesting.

But yeah, this is still in the VERY early stages of development at the moment guys, & its unlikely to go anywhere until late November after my return from America to see the Future Wife. Atm as well as the mechanics fleshing out the old character designs & gearing up for the first page. Im thinking at first have 1 week for voting, then that gives me a week to make the relevant page depending on the audience response, so 1 page every 2 weeks. Good idea, not interested? comments & opinions greatly appreciated.

Hey kids, so ever since the site launched I have been looking into setting up my own Patreon account. For a while I was trying to figure out just what exactly I could do for you guys as well as regular illustrations, since I've been flirting around with videos as you have seen. Thing is, I have a real problem when it comes to focus. While myself & my Future-Wife Meg are hard at work on setting up our own studio for our collab work including the webcomic Grim Reaper School, my own work is a lot less easy to lump together.

Many folks know that I spent several years doing fandom based illustrations for client, mainly gaming stuff like Warcraft, Halo etc. Another big chunk of my portfolio came from Adult art, Furry Porn, & yet again Warcraft based smut. Then of course on top of that you have the live streaming I have been trying to do on a regular basis which bounces from both the adult & more safe for work stuff that I do. Then add the attempt to do the occasional LP & you can see where I'm getting a little bit stuck in WHAT to make my Patreon appeal about.

While I know there are some people who have multiple Patreons for different projects, I honestly don't know if I can create enough content each week for 3-4 different feeds, & I doubt all my regular art fans would want to have Azerothian Smut & Furry's banging away with my TGWTG/Doctor Who paintings. So yeah, I'm just trying to find a workable compromise where I can share the wide variety of things I do with the people who enjoy them, & get paid because having your Future-Wife in another country is a huuuuuge drain on my already craptastic budget.

Here's the thing. I know what I want. It's just that each time I try to get there with a new project or idea I keep going back to square one and I'm feeling more and more that the work I'm putting into these things is just wasted time. And if it is, it's nobody's fault but my own, because my number one problem has always been a lack of organisation. I'm more interested in just making things for the sake of doing something rather than focusing & organising a larger (or smaller) idea. Plus I don't get across my ideas that well sometimes.

Basically, Im tired of being in pretty much the same situation (aside from daytime employment) for the past 10 years. I really should be a lot further on with my career than where I am now. While me and Meg do have our own future plans, I need to really sit down and figure out how the fuck I'm going to get myself out of the growing negative cloud I'm finding myself in, because guys, really, I'm starting to get a lil worried about if I'm EVER going to be able to turn this shit around.

So. I'm taking a little time to talk some things over with multiple people. Figure out some solid business plans, and make serious investments for the future. Because my biggest fear is another 10 years of being in the same position with little to nothing to show for it.
