Have you ever felt that you were sucking up to a person who is just not interested?

I just recently caught myself trying to start a conversation with someone who for years has not been really interested in my friendship. Now they haven't outwardly expressed this or in anyway were rude to me, but they had their niche and I had mine, and in fact I don't mind being friends but personally I don't care either way whether or not they accept me, but I find myself trying so hard for their acceptance and its really pathetic. Ok so I have a bit of Ricky comic pages done and feel sufficient enough that I have focus. I am not opening the doors completely (I have too many damn characters) But I think I can leak a small character out.

I Want to bring back Peter Delarg. Don't have much of a reason other than he is mostly of experiments and one shot pics which is fine. He does have a grander scale in story but still can have little moments. So some Peter pics will trickle back into circulation while I rough out the Ricky's first chapter.

For a while now I have been contemplating making a comic website. The ideas included Ricky's story as the main header, and an issue of the month for a resurrected character story. The problem being I am unemployed currently (big surprise right) and the server I am looking at runs about $5 a month. Chances are I'd need to open a Patreon and advert the hell out of myself since apparently Commissions aren't coming in. I understand that most people who watch me don't have any money so i don't blame you, We are all in the same boat.

My question is, if I by some miracle managed to mix this all together I would love to know if anyone is interested at all.

I guess its just my despairing attitude or my over powerful sense of pessimism, but I sorta get the feeling that there are few who give a shit if I were to do this or even if I just stopped arting all together would anyone really notice and/or care.

I know some do but yeah I feel flooded with the emptiness virus.

In any case opening a website is a big responsibility and I don't want to undertake it if it's going to sink immediately after launch.

I am feeling animatey.

So those who are still here, seen my recent pic featuring two headless nude characters. They were cartoonishly decapitated with no blood or even exposed muscle. Now I posted this picture on other sites, and one specifically causing this journal, but I will remain it nameless. As I still respect the site.

The situation befalls is apparently the admins gathered together, looked at my pic and decided to place it from mature to extreme due to the headless aspect.
The criteria for the mature setting holds that nudity without arousal, and minor gore is allowed. Extreme has Sexual arousal and Graphic gore. But there was no arousal in the pic and other than the nudity the decaps I dont think was any worse than what you would see in cartoons, Hell I seen Disney do the decapitation more graphically. So does that really constitute an extreme setting?

I have in my years received several comments of disdain, and even straight disgust about what I like to draw and what fascinates me. Hell, I even had someone tell me they were going to call the cops. (Course that had no grounds but they were so upset about the decapitation)

What do you guys think. Is headless suppose to be taboo? Is it really something that should be Rated R rather than PG? Anyone have any similar stories they like to share?

In terms of who I draw, I will still draw random one time characters to break the tedium but as for the ones with stories, they are on hiatus until I feel I have sufficiently posted enough of Ricky's story. Knowing my record this will be a long hiatus for the other characters.

I sorta came to a realization that I have too many characters and none of which are getting any posted time to complete their stories. So as of now I wanted to focus on one.
