Moving to Bandcamp
General | Posted 16 years agoI've decided to move all of my original music to Bandcamp. This means that my tracks will now be available in 8 different file formats, including AAC, OGG, and FLAC. It also means I no longer have to anguish over trading sound quality for file size.
On other fronts, I am currently working on the extended mix of Uplink Alpha.
iscin has provided a few more details of the story behind Uplink Alpha... which may come into play later.
[edit: forgot to link to my Bandcamp page!]

General | Posted 16 years agoI didn't even know "by the owner" was on my watch list... and why do they keep deleting their content?
Busy, Busy, Busy...
General | Posted 16 years agoIn June-July I went to 4 cons in 5 weeks, including Anthrocon and Megaplex... rode across 20 states... Saw Bucktown Tiger and Matthew 'Hali' Ebel play live... and in general, have had a wonderful summer. In the midst of all that, I got a new job. I've been workin' my tail off trying to pay off old debts.
Unfortunately, while I was at Megaplex, a storm came through my hometown and killed both of my desktop PCs. (The UPS/surge protector they were plugged into survived. How nice. :p ) I was able to revive the Linux machine with just a power supply, but the windows desktop - my music production machine - will probably need a motherboard. Which means "Upgrade!!" It'll take me a month or so before I can scrape the cash together for the parts, so to make a long story short (Too Late!) It will likely be a while before I am able to produce more music for you folks :( Ah well, C'est la vie.
