Rest in peace, dear friend.
Posted a year agoYou know what I’m referring to. Dragoneer, FA’s original owner, has recently passed away. Although I never personally knew him, his very creation of this platform has given me joy and helped me make friends in places I never thought I could. And for that, I thank him. I thank everyone who has ever even looked at my art, and even those who didn’t, for simply enjoying the beautiful platform this legend had made for us. I don’t know what will happen to FA, but if it goes down permanently, I’ll find another website to post my art and interact with people on. I’ll be under the same name and my pfp will be the same as well. I just want to let everyone know that I’m truly grateful for what Dragoneer has made for people like us.
To some, FA is their artistic identity.
To others, their very brand and line of work.
Others, their relationships and experiences, good and bad.
But to all of us, it’s something greater.
A home. A home and a place to come together and share memories and art and stories with people all around the globe.
All thanks to him.

Little update

I haven’t been posting much have I?
Anyways, I just had a nose surgery earlier this week so I’m still recovering from that (dw it went well and I’m healing quickly!)
I also bought DBFZ and I’m already the best out of my friend group at it
And I beat Kirby and The Forgotten Land!
I’ve also noticed that I haven’t revealed much about my storylines and series so far, so I’m going to try to add more of that to my uploads from now on.
I’m still going to use these journals to post little updates every now and then, so check them out every so often if you want to know what I’ve been doing and what I have planned for the future!
Anyways, I’m gonna go draw stuff while I recover.

Just checking in + lil question

How ya doing?
Personally, I’ve had a bit of a rough couple weeks, due to some personal issues and other things. I’m getting better most definitely, but I just need some time before I feel completely normal again.
I just want to make little journals/posts every now and then to check in on people and give little updates about myself, and also fun things like polls and opinions and stuff like that!
So, I wanna ask you guys: What’s your list of top five favorite Pokémon? First being favorite and fifth being least favorite.
Mine are:
1. Scolipede
2. Kommo-o
3. Charmeleon
4. Mienfoo
5. Audino
I’m interested to see how you’re doing lately and what your top five faves are!

Myrtle ref description
Posted a year agoHey everyone (aka like two people)! I’ve been thinking of doing this for a while, but I never really had the time to do so until now. As I’ve stated before, I’m kinda bad (really bad smh) at drawing in general, so any time I post something, it’s either a past drawing or another artwork that I didn’t make, such as Picrew character creators. So, I’m not too much of a fan of making my own ref sheets. The best I can do is describe my characters here in detail to hopefully give a better idea of their design and colors.
So, that’s exactly what I’m going to do today with Myrtle! He’s my main sona so I feel like he should get a detailed description. I am working on an actual updated ref sheet of Myrtle in my free time (when I’m not working on something else) so keep an eye out for that.
Myrtle is a 17-year old Crystal Blue Anthropomorphic Axolotl. He is 5’8” and weighs about 180 pounds. His skin is a light pale blue with occasional lighter spots on him. On the top of his shoulders, he has small bubble-shaped patches of slightly darker blue skin (not too dark though, still relatively light.) His hair is also a pale blue, but it is much darker than his skin color, being closer to an average blue color than them. His hair is short and fluffy, and kind of messy. On the back of each of his hands and on the top of each of his feet, he has a black spade symbol. On the bottom left side of his face, there is a large black ink stain that just doesn’t come off. If you ask him about it, he will not elaborate. He is quite healthy and strong, with a slim and well-toned body. His pecs and abs are well-toned and pretty strong, and his arm and leg muscles are very fit as well. However, he is still slim and his muscles do not bulge at all. He has three pointy fingers and a thumb that are humanoid in design, but he has no visible fingernails and he has very small paws that do not stick out and are essentially invisible if his palm is not shown.
As for his clothing, his usual clothes consist of a black zip-up sauna vest with grey straps on the side. They are, of course, sleeveless and expose his shoulders and arms. Sometimes, he will also wear elbow pads for comfort and style. He usually wears black and grey fingerless gloves as well, but he can go without them from time to time. One aspect that usually stays, however, is the bandanna around his neck. It is worn cowboy-style and always has a different color and design every day. However, he has stated that his favorite and most worn bandanna is a maroon one with standard white patterns on it. He wears three necklaces that can be either behind or in front of his bandanna. They are: a pure silver chain, a black metallic arrow-shaped necklace, and a small gold necklace that has a little custom-made cube of gold styled and engraved to look like the Flesh Panopticon. (ULTRAKILL go brrrr) As for his pants, he usually sports a pair of khaki-colored cargo shorts that have two extra pockets on the outside. He also either wears black knee-high toeless socks or short grey ankle socks, black knee pads, and small white/red high-top sneakers. As for some miscellaneous items, he wears a pure silver chain bracelet to match his necklace, and his belt is decorated with his car keys, a chain, a flash drive full of memes, a cloth loop, and a small clip-on water sprayer so he can hydrate his skin throughout the day so it doesn’t dry up and crack.
Now onto some more specific details about his body. His tail is quite long and has many different fin designs on it. He has ribbon-like fins, small spiky fins, short arc/shaped fins, and, of course, the typical Axolotl fin at the end. He has the typical “main character” lightning-shaped blush on his cheeks, as well as a very small permanent scar over his right eye. It doesn’t affect him, but it’s there if you look closely.
