Had a long chat with one of my old caricature work buddies over skype about art and commissions and customers and I brought up some old conversations sooo

STARTING FROM THE TITLE.
Well, apart from the ones I already have to do. Sorry, I can't really handle taking commissions professionally.
I wanna take the 'professional' approach to this and just stop taking commissions or trades until I learn how to handle my time better.

I'm a slow worker and I slack off... A LOT. I like working on things for myself or gifts than paid things because it's a little too stressful. Though not all of that is an excuse because I've seen people do commissions when they are stressed but I can't really do it.

So yeah, just wanted to give a heads up. -scratches cheek- I wouldn't recommend myself as a go-to-artist because I am extremely unreliable with due dates and keeping people updated on stuff.
I've had some people disappointed with my timing and how long I take to return things so I just want to avoid any future disappointments to people!

Talked to my friend about this MONTHS AGO and they advised me that if I cannot take commission work as serious as I would take a regular job then I should just do stuff for myself and not commissions so. So I'm kind of just gonna go with that.

So I guess the only art people will get from me in the future would probably be gifts or stupid doodles.

Took my dog to the groomers because I got a free groom session for my dog because we always almost shop there for her >3< They gave my dog the cutest bandana after they washed her and she keeps walking around as if it was a trophy omg halp.

Alright. I don't dislike the fact that they HATE the species. I don't care. People have their likes and dislikes. But what pisses me off is how some of them talk/treat people who own dreamies as if they were trash or as if they did wrong by owning one, like wtf. Calm down.
It's annoying to see, people like the designs, don't bash them just for owning one.

My friend recently joined FA but he's not takingcommissions. Instead he's offering animated pixel icons in exchange for art of his character, mostly sketches i guess? He wanted me to ask if anyone would be interested if he opens for fhat offer. Fff cant show examples cause he doesnt wnt me to show any. Just think of the offer i guess?
