Hi!
I mainly use my FA account to simply look at the fun things on here, but hey. I might as well write a decent journal.
So. I've finished my B.Sc, and am now a scientist. (Que uploading of a sexy labcoat pic, heh.) I've applied for a job with a pharmaceutical company, and things seem good. I'm also going on to do my masters, and see what happens. I realise not many people will read this, but I figure it'll be a much better first impression that the journal I have up there now.
The best way to get to know me, is to talk to me, but here are some starters. I'm a nerd (der), I like gaming, sci fi, and obviously science. I live in Australia, and if anyone wants to have an aussie friend just so they have one, I'm happy to fill that role.
Personal life right now, hrm. Well. I'm crushing hard on someone who doesn't even know I exist (Literally. Worse still, they're on the Internet and its their character I'm crushing on. Arrrgh, hormones.), I'm in some kind of psuedo-relationship with someone, with the usual furry overtones that a lot of furry friendships are, and sometimes they leave a lot to be desired, they don't talk very much, and seem interested in me even less often... (then, I probably bug them a lot) and despite my best attempts (Really, I've made attempts) I can't meet anyone for real. I had a good thing going for a few weeks, and then... Bam, she was like "Oh, yeah, and this is my boyfriend I just got".
In other news, I was quite enjoying Planetside 2! It was lots of fun... until an act of kindness got my character deleted. See, Australian Internet is crap, and planetside 2 is a 10 gig game. So, I kindly shared my files with a friend, which inadvertently let them log straight into my account, where they thought the way to make a new character was to delete mine... Sent in a support ticket, but that won't be responded to till after the weekend.
I think I'll try and update this thing next week, lets see how I go, ey?

Posted 16 years agoI have this image of this really great picture I would like to draw for a friend, but I can barely do stick figures, and I don't even want to try, because I would completely ruin it, and it'd be all offensive. v_v
