I uploaded a few pictures a few days ago and suddenly the site wouldn't let up upload anymore. According to the error screen the "Connection to the server has reset while page was loading," and now no matter what I do, nothing will make it past the upload screen. I've changed browsers, updated plug-ins and changed TCP settings in the firewall, I don't know what to do :c

I've recently bought Final Fantasy X HD in the hope I could platinum/100 percentile a game I enjoyed as a child, and came so close to completing it back then that I could do so now. I don't know if my younger self had the patience or mental drive as I do now (I know he didn't) but who in the hell came up with these sadistic challenges...I pride myself on the love of difficult games such as Dark Souls and classic NES and SNES games, but nothing...I mean nothing comes close to the evils of Catcher Chocobo [Chocobo tries to auto correct as chocoholic, haha] Racing in Final Fantasy X. Winning the race itself isn't difficult in the least, some may even say it's easy. But getting a perfect time of 0:0:0 in that race is the thing made of nightmares, if it's not the homing birds you have to dodge, it's the horrid controlls that often pull you into oncoming birds or jam you into a cliff. To all those wanting to Platinum Final Fantasy X HD, maxing out the Sphere grid is child's play compared to the awful experience that is Catcher Chocobo Racing. Now all I have to do is not commit mass homicide when I force myself to max out every ability and Wakka's overdrives in Blitzball...

I grabbed this excerpt out of the Dr. Phil web site. I'm not against this, I even think it's funny that someone like Dr. Phil, who I find to be about as much a Doctor as Jerry Springer, would take a shot against furries. And anyone stupid enough to sign up for this is most definitely going to get destroyed on stage in front of millions and further bash our name. Despite this, someone with a head on their shoulders should go ahead before we get another Taboo or CSI. I really hate seeing bad publicity, but it seems that when shows like this look for people, they always find the worst of the said group to let explain themselves.

I'm so bad at writing things that I have stolen the writings of  syrieltiger becuase he wrapped up the convention so well that I don't need to elaborate, I was pretty much attached at the hip with him anyway so I saw pretty much everything he did aside from a few things on the elevators and Jibba letting his friend know he "had to poop shit." But anyway, I don't see any reason on elaborating further since I'm using writing that don't belong to me. :3

I really enjoyed The convention and hanging out with everyone, and hope to do the same next year after I'm out of basic and AIT. Love you guys and furries kick ass.

Okay I'm not good at these things but this will be the most detailed one I've ever done.

Thursday. Left out of Greenville SC at around 12:30 stopped in at the rest area around Lavonia GA and took a break then trudged on sleep deprived with my mates  mogthemeerkat and  corgibones. Arrived at the Westin around 3:15 and check my car into the valet and had our luggage sent up to the room. 4:00pm we hit the bar in the lobby and had a long island ice tea, the corgi had a white russian and we talked with Stormy Carlisle and went to the liquor store and got whiskey and other goodies. Few hours later hung out with  kovawolf  omnibahumut and  Moon_Mochi and chatted about past cons and listened to music. After many many a shot of the liquor, a hurricane and food at the Hard Rock we headed down to the lobby in suits and met  dragonmelde and  jenks in the headless lounge. At some point (time gets a little mixed up) we ran into  acefox27 and then all goes blank. Apparently I acted super stupid and stayed up into the daylight hours chain smoking and being accosted by homeless people.

Friday woke up from 3 hours sleep hung over with the mongoose and corgi and headed to the dealers den and commissioned my badges from  dragonmelde and  jenks also bought a sweet Rukis print. We gathered our things and headed out to find foodstuffs but kept getting lost trying to find stuff on the phone and ended up at a quiznos after being given direction from a valet worker at a hotel and told that the Bulldogs were gonna beat our ass.

Leaving out of quiznos we were yelled at by a woman in a toyota corolla to "Suck a dick faggots" and then experienced a man that looked like Josh Freese on mushrooms driving by asking if we knew were "motherfucking Gandolf" was. Headed back to the hotel and suited for hours and hours until we went to see 2 the ranting gryphon. After that we hung out with a few people and headed up to Kovas room and hung until the wee hours and then headed back up and took a 5 hour nap.

Saturday Woke up and headed down to the dealers den to collect our badges and then suited up for the parade. After doing the harlem shake and losing 5 pounds we went back to the bar and had a few drinks. In the dealers den I ran into an old coworker of mine with his boyfriend which was a mindfuck working with someone for all that time and not knowing they'd be there. All of us headed back up to the room for a break and suddenly another crazy ass mongoose appeared  mangusu

After chatting and singing Queen the mongoose departed to practice for the dance competition. We got ready and headed down to wait in the mile long line with  kovawolf and  omnibahumut. The dance competition started and we ended up hanging out with  phorphaux and  mangusu for most of it providing water and whiskey. After the dance we headed out to the Hard Rock and got more food since Hooters was absolutely packed. Came back up to the room and took another 4 hour nap.

Sunday we woke up gathered our things and checked out. Put our luggage in the car and had valet repark it. We walked around the dealers room for a bit and the corgi got a badge for a friend at home after that we said bye to everyone we knew and talked to Phor where he told us about his crazy adventures after the dance and that he was "more of a nuisance to the south than Hurricane Katrina". We left around 3:30 and got home around 5:30 and sat around all PCD'd out and bleh.

Overall the con was amazing and thanks to everyone for making it so damn amazing. This was my first con where there wasn't a drama train rolling around somewhere near me so it was better than any previous con I've been to. I know I ran into  turbo35 numerous times as well as  dragonmelde and  jenks if I forgot to mention ya sorry everything this weekend was a massive blur of booze, sleepdeprivation, and sweat. But for everyone I met and hung out with I'll miss you guys and hope to see you soon! Also this con was interesting because of the intermingling of all the different groups in the hotel (there were business conferences, a wedding, and many different clubs meeting at the same time during the con as well as drunken weekend sidewalk goers in ATL). Everyone was pretty chill about it and mostly asked questions then told us they thought it was fun and that we were very friendly and gave them an awesome story to tell when they got back to work.
