Commissions OPEN (and other things)
General | Posted 9 years agoI've noticed that the past few commissions I've gotten were pretty much simple things like chibis and sketches so I want to let you guys know that I am open for more detailed work!
I hope you guys will be interested in that!

General | Posted 9 years agoIt's been really hot these past few days to the point where the laptop would overheat after about 15 minutes of use so I've had to take a large amount of breaks when drawing just to let the computer rest. Buuuuuut...

✽ I only accept payment through paypal. When sending payment,i will ask you in a note to give me your Paypal email, so I know it's you. Tipping is greatly appreciated but not at all mandatory!
✽I do have the right to decline a request. Whether it be because it makes me uncomfortable, I'm not interested in the subject, or I do not feel like I could do your idea justice, please do not take it personally.
✽Do not remove the signature/watermark I place on a picture. If you want wish to add your own watermark to the image, that's fine.
✽Do not ask me for the the the SAI/PSD file. I do not feel comfortable giving those out.
✽As much as I love drawing, I'm also a human being. I have troubles, family, and other responsibilities to tend to. My life does not revolve around the internet. I hope all of you understand that at times I may not be able to present art because I'm not at my best, be it mentally or physically. Thankfully, downtime for art rarely lasts long, but for the rare instances that it does, please do not be upset if I refund you. Sometimes all motivation is lost and I'd rather refund clients than present them with less than my best.
✽I try to make prices fair but enough so that I can make a living off of it. I'm a full time artist. While some of my prices might be out of your range, please don't harp on me about it, and please do not try to get me to lower it to a less than fair price. If you can not afford me, then you can not afford me. No hard feelings.
✽I am very flexible with payment methods; If you can not pay for something in full right off the bat, I do not mind working out a payment plan. However I will not begin a piece unless I've been paid in full. Unless I know you personally or you've been a long time client, work remains on standby.
✽Commissioners understand I still maintain rights to my artwork, I am allowed to use commissioned work for promotional purposes for myself (ex. your commission being used in an 'example book' at an art table at a convention.)
✽I'm extremely fair and easy to approach! If at any point in time, after commissioning me, you need a refund, that is fine with me! However, if you ask for a refund when I have already started the work, you will only get half of your payment back. I understand life is unpredictable but it would be unfair to not be compensated for at least some of the work that I managed to do!
✽Unless I am told in advance that the image is time sensitive, do not constantly email and pester me for your image. I usually get things done same day, but remember that I do have a life outside of the computer. In fact, do not ask me for time sensitive things. If there is something I hate, it's not being able to deliver work at a designated deadline. At this point in time, especially after 4 grueling years of university, I want the freedom to take my time with things.
✽If you are unclear about my do’s and don’ts, ask away! I’d rather you be crystal clear about anything you have trouble understanding.
✽Commissioners understand and agree to all these rules upon commissioning me. No exceptions.
✽Terms of Service are subject to change
✽Rights to the artwork will always be entitled to me unless expressed otherwise.

°References are EXTREMELY important to me. In the past text descriptions were fine but as of now, they will not be accepted. IDEAL references are flat, full bodies with back, front, and side views. No shading what-so-ever. This isn't MANDATORY, but it is preferred if you're anal about me getting colors right.
✽Please be extremely clear about what is MANDATORY ON YOUR CHARACTER. If you did not mention said x, y, z about your character, and your ref-sheet isn't clear nor states a mandatory item on your character, then I can not be blamed if I miss it. If you want it added after the fact, you will be charged a fee.
✽You are NOT to edit the work I've done for you. Characters change and I understand people want to have up to date references, but you are NOT to edit images I've done for you. I'd be more than happy to go back and add the desired changes for a fee if you so desire!
✽I've had the good fortune of dealing with the most wonderful clients when it comes to commissions! However, I am aware that payments are done through the service option on paypal and that people can force a refund. If you cancel a payment out of the blue without so much as telling me/speaking to me about it, any future service with you will be terminated. I'm extremely organize and document the payment transactions between myself and clients solely because I need to keep myself protected. THIS ALSO MEANS THAT YOU HAVE LOST ALL RIGHTS TO THE IMAGE SEEING AS IT WASN'T PAID FOR. I hold all the right to change the image, edit it, and sell it for my own personal gain. Your character will be erased because I will always respect another person's creation.

✽Your commissions will be delivered to in a timely fashion. Unless outstanding variables hinder me [Which of course, you will be notified of!], your wait time will be anywhere from same day to a week or two.
✽You will always have a means to communicate with me-Be it through, notes, or emails. If you at any moment have a question or feel uncomfortable about something, please, PLEASE, let me know. I will try to accommodate you as best as I can. Your satisfaction is my highest priority.
✽Refunds are allowed. You don't have to give me an elaborate reason as to why you would like a refund, I respect your privacy. Just be aware that full-refunds will not be allowed if work has already been started on your piece.

✖You are NOT ALLOWED to use my artwork to gain a profit. You are NOT ALLOWED to sell copies of your commission, you are NOT ALLOWED to put it on a t-shirt or other product to sell. Your commission is STRICTLY and ONLY for PERSONAL USE.
✖You are NOT ALLOWED to deface or destroy the commission in anyway, such as drawing on top of it to 'ruin' it in any way. If I ever find out you defaced my hard work, any further business with you will be terminated.
✖You are NOT ALLOWED to trace the commission to create a 'base' for you or other people to color. They are not to be used to make bases for adoptables, etc. If this is the case, then I should be cut in for any profit made on your adopts. Honestly, if you want tof make adopts and want poses from me, just ask and maybe we can work out some sort of collaboration :)
✖You are NOT ALLOWED to resell my artwork (ESPECIALLY at a higher price). A commission is a piece of art created for someone personally, in no way should it be resold.25 journals skipped
