So I'm looking at all the money I need to make to go to anthrocon in July, and I'm a good deal short of my target for this week. As such, i will be opening cheap commissions to help supplement my trip.

So, yeah. College is keeping me on my toes. For example, by some grace of a higher power I woke up in just enough time for me to throw some clothes on and get to class today. Last night, my drawing class frustrated me to no end and I could hardly believe I was having so much trouble with a still life when it came so naturally the class period before. Regardless, i finished the assignment, and in my frustration went to my "happy place" by just doodling Caen and some more feral forms...I may upload them...likely not. If I do, they'll end up in my scraps.

ANYWAY! I've been wanting to make a silver fox OC for a long time but could never get my head around it. A lot of times, I would pick up a pencil and not know where to start. Other times, I would remember the idea, but my hand wouldn't make any of the right marks and it just wouldn't work out. I was bored between classes today (i have a 5 hour break today...) and was just doodling. Out popped Sydney. He's a male Silver Fox who CONSTANTLY is mistaken for a flat-chested girl. Mostly that comes from his feminine features and big puffy tail, but his fashion sense doesn't help him out much either. His thin figure and wide-ish hips make him look really...well, homogeneous and if it weren't for his voice, which is a little high pitched but has a gravelly sound to it, people would never believe he was a guy. What I have now is just a sketch, so I'll re-do it on better, non-lined paper, but I am really looking forward to working on him a little more.

I've known quite a lot of artists who have set up shop here at FA and due to my recent discovery, I am as well.
