Hey there everyone! Its been a terribly long time since I've made a habit of posting and consistently producing content, so I want to thank those of you who have stuck with me and stayed loyal followers and viewers. Life has changed an awful lot in these past few years with COVID-19 being a massive influence on our lives and I'll admit, with it showing no signs of letting up any time soon, the food delivery (second) job is looking less and less worth the effort. As such, I'm going to be focusing on something a little more fun and creative and I need YOUR guys' help to do it! Hey all, I know it's been a while since I uploaded anything and gave any kind of updates. Life has been a real ride as of late and I'm excited to announce I am open for commissions once again! Sadly it comes as a result of some unexpected expenses putting me in the red. In addition, I have launched my new Trello page as a tracker for all the work so everyone can keep tabs and keep me accountable. So yeah...been a while. Got onto VRChat and people started asking for stuff so I felt compelled to post my massive backlog of sketches over on my twitter ( twitter.com/Combatspace ) and may start getting back into doing digital work...maybe?

Two and a half years since I posted a journal. Jeez a lot has changed in that time. I moved from Texas to New Jersey and am now in Philly. Wokred a pretty stable job for a couple years and made out alright. I just got a call back from en employer today stating they want me to start this next coming Monday which is gonna be awesome! Means I can pay off my credit card and start saving big money for some big things I'm looking forward to in the next couple years. Currently I'm working on a project for a local fur called Chronicles of Wyldernex: The Fractured Age which is a furry RPG with specific characters available and sounds like it will play very similarly to DnD or Pathfinder. I've already posted some of the artwork in my gallery as a teaser but keep an eye out for more...and there will definitely be more. Working on this project seems to have sparked a little bit of creativity and rejuvenated some interest in personal work I've been putting off for a while so be sure to check my personal art account  pathwalker in the coming weeks for even more awesome sketches and potentially some digital painting as well.

Well, it's 3:45 AM here and I'm at the ragged edge right now...but I wanted to get this down before I forget. Lately, I've been attending some awesome local (weekly) furbowls and despite a few hiccups, things have been going wonderfully. Not only do I get to see my badges displayed in public (a lot of my recent commissions are from locals) but I get to see the actual faces of the people I talk with online. I get to know what makes them tick. Sometimes, I get a little more than I bargained for, but overall, it has been nice. While I have closed commission slots 'til New Year's i still have quite a few to work on, so expect to see more stuff uploaded soon. First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone who attanded and supported this pawesome event. Final attendance count was sixteen (or more...?) people which I find astonishing considering the competition with two other northeaster events also being held this weekend. Its you guys that really make this event worthwhile. While I know not everyone bowled, the general consensus was that everyone had a blast and we look forward to seeing this event grow into a permanent installment for the New Jersey area. So badges have been coming along slowly but surely. I'm finding that I am much more tedious about the work I am producing for other people, but I am also producing much better work. I still have plenty of spots left for you guys and would love to see some awesome Halloween themed badges come across my PM's. I found that doing Razza's badge was both challenging and fun, and while difficult, his badge has been completed to his requested specifications and he is coloring it himself. Roli and Beeton's badges are underway and I'm getting the feel for how I want things to come together. They should see them shortly.

Again, these are ONLY $15 and are actually coming out to be larger than originally intended at a good 8x9" or so. These are fully inked, grayscaled badges and delivered laminated with a lanyard. I am going to start off by going over my newest deal. I am currently opening 10 slots for black and white badges. These will be traditionally done, laminated and come with a lanyard. So I ran into a bit of a disagreement at work and now I have some 600 dollars in bills that need to get paid before the 28th....fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!! I'll fill ya'll in on what has happened in the past couple weeks as it seems necessary. Roughly two weeks ago I moved out of my apartment at  Thomasblueboy's because I needed to save some money. Well, seeing as how Tom is a fellow scholar in the unnatural arts and has lived there for quite some time, his house is well protected. That, coupled with my ability to sense supernatural occurrences has made the place very safe...and I left it to move back into a 70's era dormitory on the base; One that hasn't seen a wizard/witch/warlock/druid/shaman or the like since it's building. The night I moved out, I was visited by nine figures, all of whom bow to something bigger than themselves and have offered little in the way of information of who they are and what they want. Well last night, after smoking an entire pack of cigarettes over the course of 7 hours (smoking allows me to draw more easily on my energies) I had a very...interesting conversation with the Nine. In fact, it was more of an interrogation on my part, of which I got a good bit of information about the path I am to walk and the nature of how I am supposed to walk it. In learning this, I have concluded that the way I portray myself, my fursona, is indeed a facade meant to keep me distracted with material things and relationships that are based on naught but empty words and the size of my wallet. Combatspace as you know him, is destined to change. I doubt that those of you drawn to my "bubbly nature" and charisma will very much like what is to come, but know that while I may not be as social or outgoing as "Combat" was/is, those of you who have established a meaningful relationship with me will continue to be among my cherished friends.

I'm confused. A month or two ago, I got into a hissy fit with a friend of mine over his choice in females, since the particular female he was involved with went a little off the deep end at the time. I've cut myself off from contacting them for a while now and I hear from some mutual friends that the two of them are doing better.

Here's my dilemma:

We all used to be part of a local furry group that would hang out the regular. After the big debacle, everyone kinda went their own way. Since everyone's kinda gotten over the event, I feel like I'm the third wheel, more so than when I first moved here to wichita falls. The other day everyone got together like we used to, but feeling as uncomfortable as I do about socializing with the two individuals, I was being kinda reserved. At this point, seeing as how they seem to be doing much better than before, do I swallow my pride and try and make amends or what? The logical answer is obvious, seeing as how the real reason for our excommunication was petty, trivial and extremely childish, but I guess my guilt is really what is keeping me from approaching these two particular individuals...
