Thought occurred to me. I tend to overthink or try to make sense of everything, so I thought, how woukd a furry get a tattoo? If we are to assume furry/anyhro fur is similar to irl animals, or maybe a bit shorter than their feral counterparts, tattoos are impossible. Even if they shave and get them, the fur grows over it, easily covering it. So would they have alternate solutions? Branding? Permanent and kills the fur there. Can you tattoo burned skin tho? Dyeing the fur? Maybe finding a way to permanently change fur color in spots? But fur is inconsistent, so the shape/art of the tattoo would be inconsistent and also just less detailed. Maybe they could thin the fur where the tattoo is? But then I feel like it would feel weird for the furry; like it's less protective there, temperature differences because of less fur, etc. Idk, yall got any ideas?

To my few loyal fans/friends on FA: yall are the best and what keeps me doing the little art that I do. I hope to always improve and yall keep that drive going 🙏🙏🙏. Also recommend some OCs for me to draw, and I probably will
