Well, I did it. I dropped out of school and am now living with my two friends in a rather small apartment. Haha I'm living in their family room and sleeping on a pull-out couch.

So far, it's been over a month since I've drawn for over an hour and I want to scream. There's a tablet my friend has, but it's not working on this computer? As in it won't instal properly and I'm getting so tad right now because all I want to do is just paint. That's it. Just sit down and fucking paint for 20 hours straight and UGH I WANT TO SCREAM

but other than that everything is going well
telling my parents that ive moved out and that im 10000% done with their abuse and they're not getting it which is frustrating

and now i'm just settling in, taking a well-deserved mental health break before i start the job hunt

I'll be on hiatus for like a couple of weeks, I'll update you when I can.

First off, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to commission me. Honestly, I really really appreciate it, and you're doing me a huge favor.
The problem is that I haven't really been keeping up with my workload. I could make a bunch of excuses, such as school starting and messing up my workflow, or working on prints and such for conventions, but it's basically a whole lot of things piling on at once.

So, let's make a deal.

My first booth is next weekend, and I still have a lot of prepping to do before then. I'm afraid that I can't work on any commissions until about the 12th.

If you would still like for me to complete your commission, it will be half off and I'll throw in a free chibi or sketch, your choice.

How does that sound? This long of a wait is simply unacceptable for me.

Gosh, I don't know. Since art really is my only income right now, it's really taking me a lot of commissions to get a little money. Of course, not that I mind keeping myself busy, but it might be better for me to make more off of them?

Of course, I don't really have the demand to be charging like $100 for a flat colour, so it wouldn't be anything like that high (gosh i wish though!)

so, how was your new year? Got any resolutions?

I don't, because resolution implies that it's not going to happen. I AM going to move away from my parents, I AM going to get myself a car (It's $1,800 and right now I have $1,700, I'm so close guys!!!), I AM going to get a job, and I AM going to go to England with my girlfriend over the summer. <3

This is going to be my year.

I need a phone. I can't rely on google talk, and my parents constantly track my iphone and right now I CANNOT let them know where I am, for my own safety. I'm going to buy a tracfone, or something similar, and I want a nice one, something I'll want to use.

The thing is, I'm running low on money and I also need to save up to buy a car because my parents took away mine. I'll need to get to work, to school, to generallly anywhere, and right now I have about $1,500 to my name. I'm moving in with Sam over the summer, but as soon as I get a job I'll have to pay rent. That isn't enough, I'll need quite a bit to get a car. At least $3,000.

My parents are fucking abusive as hell. They treat me like shit, they try to isolate me from my friends and from my girlfriend, they ignore my mental problems and then tell me I cause them, they have made me literally try to commit suicide and I have self-harmed because of them. They've ruined my life, and I want out.

But I need help. I'm not emotionally stable enough to get a job while going to school, so the only thing I CAN do is draw. I need money, guys. I really fucking do.

Well, I have hypothyroidism, a chronic illness that basically causes my thyroid not to function. This can cause a lot of problems, mostly the inability to lose weight and constant fatigue. Normally my medication can handle this, but for the past couple of days it hasn't quite been up to speed and I have literally spent half my day asleep and it's 5:30 PM. /rolls around

This is really fucking awesome because it's finals week and I have a paper to write, study for a hard exam, and draw a series of portraits of my girlfriend. (at least the model is pretty. :D)
