There's been an unexpected loss in my family and I've had to take a couple weeks to process things. Hasn't really been the best time to draw lewd art.
I am still working! I have not vanished into the aether! I will get everything done (´⊙ω⊙`)！

~ Regarding Commissions ~

Hello, yes! I am alive!
I'm going to try to keep this short as possible:
A lot of weird irl shit happened in 2024 and I haven't been able to draw for months. Everyone's commissions have been hugely delayed. I am still chipping away at them, slowly. I will finish everyone's work in the next few months. I have not had enough spoons to reply to everyone individually, which I know has caused people concern about the progress of their commissions. I will be able to get back to work in mid February, and plan on going nowhere until it's all finished. Thanks for being patient.[/i]
I will then stop taking commissions for the forseeable future. Once all the work I've promised is complete, I'm going to take a step back from commissions (and maybe even art as a whole to be honest), take a step back from the online world, and focus more on my personal life.
I am extremely grateful for everybody's support, patience and friendship over the last few years. My hope is that taking a step back from art as a job will make it a little easier to keep in contact with people in the community.

It's been a busy month.
👑 Good News! 👑
- Pup and I got engaged last month! ╰(*°▽°*)╯ We are very excited. I'm going to spend the rest of my life with this girl / pokemon / dog. Absolutely bloody fantastic.
- I'm also going to stay on furaffinity for the time being! I'm still uploading my art to weasyl, slowly, but furaffinity will continue to be my HQ. Seems like feral eeveelutions don't break terms of service, so I've been given the thumbs up from staff to continue posting here.
-I also have a huge backlog of commissions that I'll be posting here in the coming months. Gonna' be deleting all my art from twitter and moving a lot of stuff onto here, which includes little sketches and doodles I wouldn't usually post.
👑 Stinky News! 👑
- Very exhausted from a month of hard socializing and activity partaking, and I'm not even finished. Commission progress (including replying to people) will be a little slow until around October 8th, and then everything should be smooth sailing. I aim to get all my current paid projects finished by the end of November!
- I have to completely gut and organize my very very old loft space, and I am absolutely terrified of spiders. Pup is helping, but it's hard. Yes, I am writing this journal instead of hoovering the spiders. They have many legs and many more eyes.

My Commissions are OPEN again!

My prices have changed quie a bit this time, and I'm offering different tiers and styles! I will now only be doing super clean, highly polished art at a higher tier.. This is because these pieces take far longer for me to finish (I'm a raging perfectionist), and because, frankly, that's not how I draw any more! They'll still be there, they'll just be more expensive.
I will also no longer have set prices for halfbodies and headshots. The price for cut-off characters will vary depending on the illustration, as will the cost of props and background characters (crowds, simply drawn onlookers, etc). I can offer these, you'll just have to ask!
Right! Here are the Tiers!

ILLUSTRATION (£60) : These are my standard commissions! I prefer to draw a lot looser nowadays (which I think makes for better art), and it's a faster process! I've lowered the cost to accomodate for the more sketchy style, but if you want something super clean that's what the other tiers are for. Illustrations will be coloured and shaded as a default, and will have a faster turnaround than the other tiers.
CLEAN: (£75): Essentially the old 'flat colour' tier. Super clean lines. As pixel-perfect as I can be. This is how I used to line things. Clean lines, clean colour, but no shading.
POLISHED: (£90) : Very clean lines, very clean colouring, and with lots of shading. A lot of detail goes into making Polished pieces look ~ c l e a n ~. These typically take a long time to finish, hence the price.
The cost of extra characters for all tiers is +%50 , and backgrounds, extra panels and alts are all negotiable depending on detail.

Maybe Leaving Furaffinity
Posted 2 years agoHey! As a heads up, I might be leaving Furaffinity before July 1st. The confusing rules they've put around pokemon and ferals are just unacceptable for me.
I don't want to risk being banned for posting art of Trick (who is an adult, feral eeveelution), but they're also a character that is incredibly important to me. I do not want to change their design just so that people don't mistake them for a minor.
I also dislike how the staff here have treated the implementation of these rules. I think their approach has been awful, and my opinions on them have completely soured. It honestly seems like they're trying to sanitize the site to sell it again.
I'd like to rant, but I have the flu and I can't be bothered. Either way, I'll be cancelling my membership thingy, and I'll probably stop uploading here and stick to twitter, cohost, or something else. Any ideas?

It's me again! Cirkus. I know I haven't been too talkative lately, so you might have forgotten.
I'm almost finished with Commissions!
You may remember, but in my last journal (has it really been 9 months? wow) I mentioned cutting down on commissions, and maybe changing things up in the future.
Well, that's true!
I'm working on my last few commissions right now, and then I'll be ready to open new slots! Things will, however, be changing. Prices are going up (along with the cost of living lmao), and I'm gonna' offer different tiers of commission from what you might typically expect. I'm also hoping to do a few more YCH's, hoping to keep things fairly pokemon themed, because I'm utterly obsessed with UNITE and want to draw more pokemon focused stuff.

Life Update / Changes
My mental health has been really bad the past few months, and on top of that I've been looking for a place to move to, so I haven't had the time or spoons to do much work on commissions or even keep in contact with anyone. I'm really sorry for that, and I'm going to work to do better in the future (if I ever open commissions again)!
I'm really appreciative of everyone's patience and kindness.
Good news is, I have a new flat now! We moved in a couple days ago and are just trying to sort out the bills, moving furniture, setting up our computers, etc. . I hope to be a lot more active now that I have my own space to work ^_^"

I'm gonna' finish up the commissions I'm working on now, along with those I've agreed to work on in the future, and then that's gonna' be it.

Just a quick journal to say that I will finally be updating my commission prices! I should have raised my prices a long while ago, and so I'll be raising them by the turn of December!
Prices will be go up quite a bit considering I haven't altered my prices since the beginning of 2020 ( as a rough estimate, everything should be going up by around +%50 !) . I hope this won't be off-putting to my followers, but alas, even if it, is my prices are still going up anyway! I like to think I know my worth ;)
For anyone who's in the process of ordering commissions from me, or whom I've already made arrangements with: This will not effect the cost of any current commissions, and will only effect pieces ordered after I've uploaded my new price sheet (so don't worry)

Long-time-no-post yet again! Just an update, this time.
I've almost finished April's batch of commissions! "Huzzah! " I yell. "By jove, he's done it! " one of you screams. "But when will they all be finished? " a very astute few of you mutter. "And why hasn't he been uploading any of these to furaffinity? He's a fiend, a liar!! " a member of the crowd hollers as he is quietly escorted out by security.
"Alright, settle down, I'll answer your questions. First, let me address the elephant in the room..." Curteous as ever, I wait for the one of you with an elephant-sona to take a seat and give you a gay little wave. "While I have indeed finished most of my commissions, there are a few left to finish! And although I have completed many a commission this past year, whenever I have to upload one to furaffinity I come down with a severe case of the shivers! "
Oh god, I'm going to stop doing this or I'll never finish this journal...
Anyway...
I aim to have the last of these commissions finished by September, and should be opening a new batch either in September or October! (I may need a short break, for sanity's sake)
I will eventually upload the completed pieces to this website. It's just that... something about uploading here is anxiety-provoking. Perhaps it's the tagging, or the permenance of it all, or perhaps it's just that I can never think of a description to add (it's definitely the latter).
Either way, I'll be uploading some shortly, and should have all my work up until now uploaded by the end of the year, so look forward to some new (and old) art!

Long-time-no-see, fellow furs! I hope you're having a good start to 2021, and that you haven't missed me too much~
I'm not the best at writing journals, so I'm just dropping by to reassure everyone that I am still alive, and I am still creating content.
I, in my ungodly hubris, knew that I was having surgery in March of 2020 and thought "You know what? You know what'd be a grand idea? I'll take on commissions while I'm doped up on painkillers! I'm sure both of my arms being out of use for the next couple months won't inhibit my ability to create content! My chest's been sliced open and I'm high as a kite, I can do anything!"
...2020-I and me have been having a bit of a back and forth, and I've come to the conclusion that I did, indeed, believe it or not, take on a few too many commissions given my surgery and the current world crisis, and I have spent the past couple of months dealing with the tremendous backlog I built up.
But Good News: I've worked through June's commissions! (as you'll see when I finally decide to upload the pieces) Those of you who ordered in the back-end of July and during the sunny month of August will only have to wait a few more weeks to see your finished pieces.
Trust me; I'm being a good boy this year.
For those of you who have been so very patient with me these last few months, I am eternally grateful. Your support has kept me going through this more than difficult year, and I return your love tenfolds!

"Hello! As some of you may have noticed, my art output has been rather slow as of late. Between accidentally slicing my dominant thumb open last week and my RSI coming back full force (as well as an impromptu birthday break for princeluxio last week), I've been out of action for a few days.
But, there is good news! I've just invested in an ergonomic mouse, and after a week-long break from all things art my wrist/hand has healed and is ready for action. I plan to spend the next few weeks working on commissions, opening up slots for July/August, and getting some personal doodles out there. There are some memes out there just begging to be fooled around with (I'm looking at you, cake meme)~
Oh! I'm also working on a furry-centric toyhouse right now, so there's also that.

Ladies and gentlemen, Boys and girls, open your ears!
You may have noticed that my account has been a little dormant as of late. Indeed, I recently planned to start uploading more doodles, more loose sketches, and more personal art, but I haven't posted a thing since August 1st! Why is that, you ask..
For the past month I've been struggling with severe wrist/hand/finger strain. Art? I don't know her! I don't think I've doodled a single thing in at least three weeks! I'm seeing a doctor shortly, so hopefully I can get things cleared up soon, and can continue with arting. For now I can just sketch and very lightly doodle, until I get this stupid wrist issue sorted out.
So please be patient with me. I hope you're all doing well, though!

~ Time for an Update ~
Hey ladies and gents, this is just a quick update for those looking to do art trades / commissions with me in the future. So if you're interested stop by for a minute and have a read. c:
Until recently I've been selling my fully rendered, fully lined art under the title 'Coloured and Shaded Sketch'. That's what my commissions are supposed to be, but since early 2018 I've been putting way too much extra time and unnecessary detail into what are supposed to be loose, toony renditions of your characters (and my own). This is the fault of the perfectionist in me, and I'm hoping to change this soon.
Ultimately I want to go back to the looser style of art I prefer. This only means my art will be a tiny bit messier, but it's a difference I myself notice. No more pixel perfect lines, no more rendering, re-rendering and re-re-rendering for me! You folks probably won't notice the change, but I feel I should still mention anyway <3
I will, of course, upload some examples of what I mean (as I'm awful at explaining visual stuff).

I know it's a tad late, but Happy Pride Month to all of you! I hope you're all having a fabulously fantastic month so far, no matter your gender, sexuality, species or taste!
I often tend to forget that my nature is inherently LGBT (being a guy with a girlfriend and all), and I've found myself struggling with my identity a lot in the past. But Pride Month is the time I allow myself to relax and accept my nature in its fulles
So, a wonderful Pride to all of you! Have a fantastic month!
