Time management is not my best skill. Hypnovember is probably happening in early 2025, apologies. I still fully intend on opening for them, there's a few prompt lists out there I'd love to do, it's just gonna take me a while to get there. Also, I really need to be a bit sane with what I'm doing in regards to owed work. People be waiting for stuff and I've got to keep mindful about that.

I fully intend to open for prompts, but not before I finish up more of what's on my plate right now. Accordingly, the actual finishing point for them is gonna most likely be some time in December. All I wanted to say, just wanted to give a heads up so people can plan accordingly. I wanna at least get one big prompt spree in this year!

As you can see, BCP is not happening this month. ; u; I lost a bit too many days to recovery that I could have used on getting YCHs and edits done. I’m going to be putting my focus on Hypnovember considering I don’t feel like I’d have enough lead-up time to do BCP 2024 justice this year.

Accordingly, I’m going to need to take juuuust a few comms in order to keep myself rolling until Hypnovember kicks off, kind of a “grease the wheels” type deal. Not a lot, I’m thinking that I’m looking at maybe four or three or so. These will be normal commissions, no special themes or anything down that line. Please read my ToS before you continue on to put in for ideas.

This will not be first-come first-serve or have a set end date, but something more in the sense of me grabbing ideas to do that feel right. Essentially, this closes when I’m ready for it to be finished.

As a reminder, prices are $13 USD per page, single spaced Times New Roman at 12 point, with an average of 800 words per page. If you’re commissioning me for the first time, you’ll be paying at the halfway marker. You can kinda get a sense of how big things are going to be depending on the number of kinks that you want and how you structure your ideas. One sex scene with a lead-up is going to be shorter than two people TFing and then infecting other people, for example!

On the matter of keeping clarity on my current YCH status, I’ve got two left: the big one with multiple people, and GOBLIN MODE. The barbarian and second Critcon ones are in the process of being edited right now, with the former probably going up soon, and I’m writing the big one right now as you’re reading this!

I have to start with the most important point: I got Covid, and I'm treating it with the same careful attitude as I've had before. I'm thankfully rapidly recovering, but it's still incredibly frustrating. The worst of it started hitting around Sunday, but if you've been in contact with me this weekend at Megaplex (a guy wearing a blue pullover, a white jacket, cargo pants, brown shaggy-furred pants, a goatee'd cat fursuit head with paws and a tail, goat hoof shoes, or any combo of this), please test.

I'm now on a two week break from any work. Editing, commission writing, anything on that front is just not happening until at least the night of the 14th. I'm not going to push my health into jeopardy when I need to be resting. I'll be asking for your patience during this under the knowledge that I want to keep myself able to make fun stuff for a living.

I honestly don't know what this means for BCP this year. The next few weeks are going to be spent weighing some stuff. Brainstorming as well. Current YCHs, edits, and finishing Sinister Phage come before anything else right now. It wouldn't feel right to take on more work at the moment. I'll keep y'all posted.

I could not continue to write like this without your support. It means the world to me that I'm able to do this, I absolutely love writing this kind of content and being able to make you all happy with commissions and fun stories. Sincerely, you've made it so that I'm going to be able to do Megaplex without feeling strained by my budget and also do something that I've been meaning to do for a while now.

September and October are pretty busy months for me, and usually I find that I'm not able to contribute to the (admittedly pretty privileged) living situation I'm in around these times. You've all made so that I'm able to do so this year, and you've taken a large stressor off my back. Being able to continue coming up with fun new events on here and new ways to get my stories to you, pushing myself a little bit further on these and challenging myself, growing in my skills, it's a fucking blast and I'm glad I get to do it.

As stated before, I will be at Megaplex this year! I like theming my shit around events, so accordingly (and here I am, attempting not to overburden myself again, holding on to what I am...), August 1st will begin me running a series of YCHs themed around the DnD-style fantasy motif that Megaplex has for 2024 in an attempt to raise money for me to enjoy myself while I'm there.

We've got some ideas waiting in the wings if I need more cash, but, as currently planned out:

OPENING AUGUST 1st - 7th: A fantasy adventurer find out why food is grown and harvested and not magicked into existence.

This will be a traditional high fantasy story dealing with weight gain with your character ending up fattening up thanks to a societal shift in the world around them that's rather inescapable. If you want to see a capable individual start having to deal with getting fatter and more out-of-shape along with the people around them trending along that same path, this is for you. Of the stories available here, this is going to hew the most accurate to a kinky Dungeons and Dragons or trashy fantasy novel experience.

OPENING AUGUST 5th - 11th: An ancient story, nestled away in the back of a library, warps someone's mental state and pushes them to go goblin mode.

This is going to be a dark fantasy TF story focused around getting turned into a smaller critter, like a goblin or kobold or ratfolk, and having to deal with the real world being... not entirely suited to the kind of antics that those things fall prey to. If you want to watch yourself turn into a goofball, shithead, or complete failure of a little hob, along with potentially also having a whole bunch of new buddies to deal with and try to corral, you're looking at something you want. I'm channeling hella Labyrinth and Warhammer (the fantasy version, not the space Catholicism version) vibes with this one.

OPENING AUGUST 12th - 17th: Backroom fucking in the circles of a tabletop convention goes extreme with the roleplaying.

This story will be focused entirely within the context of a real world scenario with a fanbase that's interested in fantasy. This is an experimental YCH where I'm offering the same story theme from two different angles: One focuses on a masculine dragon dominant taking control, while the other focuses on femdom or a femboy domming a scaly slut. Both have an impregnation theme tied into them. The dragon takes the princess, or the princess takes the dragon. To be clear, this will be a YCH that will fork into two different offered story slots with the same setting. If you want to see some anthros fuck around with traditional fantasy roles and twist them to be kink-based in a realistic modern setting, you'll be interested in this.

You’ll notice that one idea that was hinted at is not on the schedule. That one is on the backburner until I can push through these edits for BCP 2023’s prompts. We're down to thirteen prompts left to edit for BCP 2023 and I will have the whole damn thing up, YCHs and related story material included, before we move to 2024's event!

Alright, as promised, I'm opening for story commissions that I'm looking to get done with over the next two weeks!

Now, to be clear, there's several key notes:

1. I want to get these done and edited before August 1st. That means I'm going to be selective on who I write for.
2. By applying to this you are not being guaranteed a slot. I'm trying out a commission style where I pick based on submitted ideas, this is not first-come first-serve or me assigning people slots, this is me choosing an idea and then doing it.
3. I will be contacting based on who I'm choosing to work for. If you are not contacted before July 31th, you haven't been selected and should hold onto the idea for the future. I don't intend to have this be the only time I try this if this works.

A lot of you have been waiting patiently for long-forms again and I'm eager to give you a chance to get some. So, I'm gonna do mybest over here!

Family work continues through July, but I've managed to find a balance where I can dig back some writing and editing time. More Sinister Phage edits are happening, at the moment I'm going through the YCHs that I wrote for Phase 2 of it and editing them along with other owed edits. The only other YCH I've got on my plate will be finished up this month as well before I open for commissions at the end of July for a two or so week stretch. Now, as a reminder, this is not a slots-based or first-come first-serve scenario, this will be "what I can do based off of what I get", no guarantees, but I know some of y'all have been really patiently waiting for something from me so we're going to see what I can do. I'm trying desperately to balance what's on my plate so that I don't overschedule myself like last year and miss Hypnovember again, lmao. l3;;

I'll be attending Megaplex at the end of August, so if you want to see me, look for the dipshit in the blue pullover fleece! There's going to be a series of YCHs themed around fantasy stuff matching the DnD theme of the con leading up to it (along with maybe something a little extra breaking the theme near the end...), so keep your eyes peeled on here!

UPDATE AS OF 7/15/2024: BCP YCHs are done and will be rocketed out one at a time once the prompts are finished! Opening for long-forms (as many as I can get done in two weeks!) on the 21st!

*I've been offered to help family through the month of June to the tune of getting paid for it and have some commissions and YCHs on the docket that I need to take care of, so don't expect any new openings in June! There might be ONE YCH open at the end depending on how much I've gotten done and how long this work lasts, but otherwise I'm gonna be focusing on what I've got on my plate!

*This is a big "If", but I miss doing long-form comms for y'all and I'd like to debut a new commission style in July that'll allow me to essentially run through as many commissions as possible in the month. What I'm envisioning in this is doing what my friend  NamelessEnemy does and post up a singular form for July, picking ideas in it, and doing what I can before the month is up. This is very much a "We've got to see where I am" thing, but fingers crossed?

I’m happy to say that we’re continuing to chug along when it comes to YCHs! With three of the six I had on my plate written out, and most of the BCP YCHs finished, and more of them on the way, we’re on the path to opening for more YCH work in early April. Keep your eyes posted here for more information and for potential future comms, I’d like to open for more typical long-form work as well when I’m available and have the work that I owe on my plate finished.

As a heads up, I intend to not open for YCHs during events anymore. I expected to be able to balance the work easier with the shorter pieces but it seems like the pace these short works require need me to focus down on what I’m doing a bit more.

I am curious, by the way, are there any particular kinks or concepts that you’d all like to see me writing about in terms of YCH content?

Hey, y'all, here to give you another status report and talk about the year a bit!

First thing's first, gonna use this to talk about my current work status. Black Cat's Path is done and needs to be edited, Hypnovember 2022 is now fully up, and the path is juuuuust about clear for me to work on these YCHs in 2024. Barring circumstances where I have to stay afloat (which seems unlikely), I will not be taking more commissions of any sort until these YCHs are done. Y'all deserve my attention and to get these done before I take on any new projects. Thank you for continuing to contact and keep in touch with me on that front, I appreciate it.

I really think that this is the path forwards for the foreseeable future. I want to keep a fair balance of normal comms, events, and YCHs from now on. It's helped me creatively and also aided my productivity. This has been a year where I've really felt like I've been able to breathe, so thank you all for bearing with me and continuing to support me as I write. I've also been reorganizing my time to allow me to work on personal stuff as well and that's helped me mentally this year. Some friends have assisted me with reorienting my time in a way that's allowed me to use it more effectively, which I appreciate. I've been working myself into little tantrum breakdowns less and giving myself more time to breathe in general. Things feel like they're finally starting to click in a truly workable way.

Ultimately, I think this year was really, really good for me. I've been suiting as Circ for the first time at certain cons, which has been amazing and something I absolutely want to keep doing. I've gotten to try out new things and gotten back to doing stuff I've been wanting to do for a while, seeing friends away from home and enjoying their company. I haven't posted as much personal stuff up as I wanted, there were a lot of false starts across the year and half-worked on projects... projects I'd like to get back to in the new year as well. I think with how I split up my time I'm going to be able to get a certain personal story up soon, one involving a character I've been hinting hard at but hasn't shown up yet.

This is the last y'all are going to hear from me until 2024. I'm currently on break until the night of January 1st, at which point I'll be getting back to work. I hope you all take care, and get hype, there'll be more fun stories popping up on here soon!

As of today, the 30th, it's my birthday! Happy Halloween Eve, y'all! I'll be taking a break from writing over the next few days in order to celebrate it and my fave holiday, so I'm gonna be busting it down Tinycat style again on November 1st. <3

I wanted to keep y'all aware of what's going on with my writing. That vacation was well-earned, obviously, but it also required me to slow the hell down, and accordingly I have about seventeen of thirty-one prompts finished as of this journal. You'll notice that my slowdown has also led to posts drying up momentarily. November, ergo, is going to be when I finish it, and YCHs, and working on other owed work that I have on the back-burner for people, including hopefully some sorely needed edits. I aim to have these finished before the year is up while also prodding at other separate storyline material.

As suggested before, I'm not doing Hypnovember this year as I want to use November to take care of owed work. I may potentially be opening up in December for further work, and accordingly I would suggest anyone interested in getting more work from me in terms of shorties keep their eyes peeled during the winter months.

What's going up in place of Hypnovember 2023? Why, it's the stories from Hypnovember 2022! You may have noticed that they've not gone up yet. This is mainly because... well, quite frankly, I had a lot of trouble contacting people regarding getting their stories edited up last year. Accordingly, I'm going to be skipping some numbers. If you haven't gotten edits from me on that front, expect those soon. I've got about fifteen or so of these edited and ready in the tank to be fired off when ready, and I'd like to post them up along with BCP. We'll see how it goes!

I'd also like to mention that I'm considering revamping how I do long-term commissions. I've found that I'm stacking up queues in a way that I don't like, and I also like to offer comms to people on the regular, so I'm thinking of going to a single slot that constantly opens depending on when I finish. Accordingly, you're probably going to see me going from journals announcing I'm open for comms to a submission showing up every so often in your folders that's like a picture of my cat ass doing work or something.

Hey hey, I wanted to make an update to let everyone know where we’re at! I’m currently going through story fifteen at the moment! I’m also currently away from the house, staying with friends in Seattle! Accordingly it’s going to be a bit before I’m able to start posting again!
