2025 in Review!
General | Posted 2 months agoSweet merciful Christ it's been a year.
There has been a malaise in the air that's made things feel worse and it's been an effort to push through it at times, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't shielded from it in a way due to my current situation. Regardless, I've seen a lot of my friends suffering during this time, and I've also felt the squeeze that's been put on so many of us. The first three months of this year were a struggle to hit obligations where at times it felt like I was just treading water and going nowhere. There are people that are doing far worse than me right now. I'm very very lucky that I have others who can make sure that I'm going to be alright and that I'm not in a situation like what so many other people are experiencing right now, where I'm being menaced and oppressed by a government that is truly heartless in the kind of future that it wants to make. I don't have a lot I can do to help with that but I hope that my attempts to assist have given some people I know a bit of a lift as well and that by joining everyone to reach out to elected officials I've been able to tilt things just a bit in the right direction. That work still continues, but the thing about it is that it can be taken in bite-sized chunks every day. A three-minute call in the middle of the night going to a voice box can do a lot when joined with so many others or done over a long enough period. I'm not going to pretend that I can art or call my way out of our current situation... but the art always helps others and gives me material that I can use to keep others afloat, and the calls are what I'm able to contribute to a pressure campaign. It's a grand lattice that gets strengthened by every small act as long as those acts have meaning.
That, and in a non-political sense the art literally sustains me and brings joy to the people around me... and myself! It's a silly thing to say... but giving people the big boner, myself included, is important. It's fun and great and awesome and I love doing it. This is a good way to keep myself going and keep putting Circ and Celsius and Lysander out into the world while making my dreams come true, and even if I was making no money out of it I would still be writing things for myself. Fuck, I love writing things for myself. It feels so good to explore worlds through typing stuff out, through putting things together. It's wonderful to put a narrative together, to see it progress, to bounce characters off each other and watch them change and become more. I've gotten inspired this year from different media and different people, augh, I love my fucking cat and deer and all my characters so much and I wanna write more with them and I have ideas that I wanna hit hard!
I had a couple firsts this year that I really regret and want to make sure don't happen again. I'm trying to think about how and why I keep slowing down and I want to address them while also keeping in mind that the shoulder injury in October was healed in the way that it needed to be healed: unavoidable rest. I can feel myself still improving and I'm trying to stick to different means to protect myself. It's important for me to make sure that I keep getting better while also keeping in mind that there's certain things that I do that help me mentally but are a drain on my ability to actually get progress out. It's high time that I make a buffer for myself and focus down on that, and I think going into 2026 that's my intentions. I want to be able to float, not just for when the unexpected happens but because I need the ability to focus down and get things done instead of getting pulled in different directions.
There were a lot of feelings this year of being... constrained by life in general, of feeling pressed in by having to drop companies that have actually fucked things hard. I'm appreciative of everyone around me that's helped me to divest from shit that I don't want to be a part of anymore. It's been rough and at times it's felt like I'm stepping a bit backwards doing all this and I wonder how much more I can take, but people are incredibly good at getting me to look at silver linings. If anything, it's another step towards saving more money, right?
It would be impossible to talk about this year without talking about the good of it, though. Lovely trips with family provided a really great break from the world, especially combined with a big spread of avoiding social media thanks to being incredibly laser-focused on avoiding Deltarune... which was wonderful, by the way. Really, really good game that's shaping up to already be a masterpiece.
blackjackaught gave it to me in an extremely heartfelt gesture when I was unable to go in for it myself, and I have him to thank for the fun I get to experience with the future chapters of it to come next year as well. Aaaah, something good is for sure happening in 2026, that's such a treasure! I got to actually fursuit as both Circ and Celsius this year while also suiting as Lysander thanks to
Genshinin making me a partial, which... I'm still eternally grateful for. It was an amazing thing to do and I adore that deer so much. I love how walking around as him has given me a better insight into who he is. I'm so thankful I got to experience it. That partial was one of the biggest gifts I received this year and I love it so so much and I'm fucking yearning to suit again as all of them soon.
Megaplex, as well, was amazing. I had such a good time there, and because of it I now have a badge of Celsius just swinging over my bed like a little talisman that I can look at and think of better times. There's been so many small experiences this year, so many moments of personal growth, that have all blended together and given me such delight to counter the frustrations and pain of getting through this particular cycle. Christmas, too, this December has been so good. Everyone behaved themselves around my immediate vicinity, everyone got together and made where we live look so good. I got such nice gifts from all my friends at that time of year too that were such a treasure to look forwards to. There was a side benefit to being beat to shit in October: I got to REALLY get festive with it and actually dig deep into movies and games. I'd like to also thanks
Munks for gifting me Look Outside during that time as a game I really dug into and got inspired by. There's so much craft in that thing for something made by one person. It's truly, truly impressive.
Ooooh, oooh, and I'm learning how to play the fucking kalimba too! It's been INCREDIBLY rewarding to try my hand at doing some music and I think I want to keep practicing it, I've found that I've taken extremely well to practicing and gradually picking up small songs and I'd like to keep on trying it in 2026. Performing for people has made me so nervous that my mind just blanks the fuck out, but it's also been very fun! I'm hoping I can keep improving on this.
More than all that, one of my relatives is getting so successful it's headed to the point where they're doing things I never would have ever believed anyone in our family would be getting the opportunity to experience. It's been a big, big year for them and I'm extremely proud of them and I'm hoping that their side of the family gets taken care of because of this. They're going through what might either be a once-in-a-lifetime moment or the explosion of their career into something huge and I'm hoping that they just keep going, I want all the best for them and I know they can do something fantastic.
I'm hoping that it's a good sign that I'm ending this year in a surprisingly better position than I expected thanks to overestimating how much I needed to prepare for December and taking steps accordingly. It's hard to keep in mind sometimes that I need to be nice to myself as well but it's a good lesson to take to heart. There are things in 2026 that scare the hell out of me and I've reached out to people to help assuage me of it and they're going to make sure I hit it with full intentions. I think that that's the way forwards for all of us.
Despite all the rough parts of this year, the good of it shone so bright that I can't help but keep feeling hopeful about 2026. Everyone's support means so very much to me and I hope I'm able to return it when I can.
As an addendum to all this, I want to say that I'm on break for a couple weeks and will be back to work on the 17th. Mentally and physically, I need to recover. I'm eager to get back to making stuff for y'all again soon. I do this because it's fun and it's one of the most ethical jobs in the world to me, I bring happiness to y'all and I don't feel like shit doing it. There's been so many reminders this year that have made me remember that this is a fantastic way to live. I want to keep doing this. This work fills me with so much goddamn passion. I love being a part of this community, I love the people it connects me to. It's wonderful traveling to cons and recognizing people and having people recognize me. There's nothing in the world like having a friend in so many different states. I love that it's brought me Circ and Celsius and Lysander and Roil and Roxxanne and Julian and so many other characters that I keep wanting to flesh out. The furry community has enriched my life so much over the years, it's an incredible place to be.
I'm so overwhelmed by how much y'all have embraced Black Cat's Path. I'm thankful that I'm starting to come up with that setting and that friends allow me to play in the Empireverse, Null Verdict, Heat of Battle... all their settings as much as I can, and that they want to put their foot into mine too.
Thank you all for continuing to have my back. I hope your 2026 is wonderful. <3

BCP 4: A Phantasmal Festival
General | Posted 4 months agoHello, and welcome to Black Cat's Path 2025! Black Cat's Path is my annual Halloween-themed commission drive wherein I offer a bounty of hot smut writing for everyone that wants to dare enter my commission forms. In the years before I've offered prompts and YCHs during one year, but we're continuing to play around with the offerings this year and opening things up to a spread of potential options for y'all. It's a real mixed candy bowl of commissions. :3c
What do you mean by that? What exactly are you offering?
We're keeping things to 31 offerings this time around after doing 34 for BCP 2025: The Camera's Eye. As said before, the amount of potential story types on offer is broadening this year!
Prompts are returning, with ten slots! Prompts are three-page (probably) short stories based around a single word. So like, if you purchased "Envenomed" from a list of prompts, it could be about a snake biting you and turning you into a naga through being poisoned, or someone getting doped up and horny from a drider's bite, or you getting taken over by Venom from Spider-Man! These are very flexible as long as there's some connection to the prompt. Prompts are priced at $35 USD, are first-come and first-serve, and limited to two slots per customer this year to keep things fair. If you're interested, check it out over here!
Now, we get onto what's new for this year, and we'll start with a big one... Literally! For the first time ever I'm offering ten long-form slots as part of Black Cat's Path! Long-forms are just straight up writing commissions. No muss and no fuss beyond the thematic details all BCP stories will get mentioned below, you tell me an idea and I craft it for you. You know how it works! Long-forms are at $13 USD a page, with slots selected from submitted forms after October 14th, 11:59 PM EST. I write at about 800 words average a page, in twelve point font Times New Roman. You will be charged based on single-spacing the lines, with double-spacing coming afterwards.
Going from big to small... the one-pager experiment worked VERY well, and accordingly, I'll be opening up for six one-pager commissions! These are, as they suggest, (hypothetically) single-page commissions meant to let you explore a short scene, sculpt out an idea, or get a fix on how a certain character or species behaves. You can do this just with an idea off the top of your head, or we can make this a caption commission where you give me a picture that you own and I can base it off of what's going on in there. One-pager commissions are priced at $11 USD each. Long-forms and one-pagers will be opening later today once the advert for them is finished!
Finally, we have something that I'm experimenting with that's a little bit between a YCH and a long-form... I'm tentatively calling these host slots and will be providing five slots for these. Host slots are focused around a singular kink with a similar intro for each story, focused around the focal character for this year or "host" kicking your character's story off. This year, the kink is TF, the host is Roil, and he'll be selling or offering you a potion. Beyond these fixed potions, the sky's the limit on what you want to get. More details (along with an example of an intro to a host story!) will be coming shortly! Host slots will be priced at $120 USD for a tentative ten pages each, with slots selected from submitted forms after October 14th, 11:59 PM EST. Keep your eyes on this spot over the next few days for when they'll be going up!
All of these offerings are pay-on-completion. You pay me when they’re finished and when you’re satisfied.
So, to reiterate:
10 prompt slots at $35 each
10 long form slots at $13 a page
6 one-pager slots at $11 each
5 host story slots for $120 each
All of these offerings will be guided to fit the commission drive's theme. This may take the form of your story specifically ending up in the festival mentioned below or basing it in the town near the woods of the Black Cat's Path. This could be giving things a more general spooky or horror-based vibe. It could even be that your story takes place in the Fall or around Halloween. I'll work with you on this!
You've had themes for the past few years for these, what's this one?
The theme for 2025 is "A Phantasmal Festival", wherein we explore past the town settled against the woods of the Black Cat's Path and head further down the path itself to a massive party taking place on Halloween that's almost like a monster's Coachella or Burning Man. It's taking place in a valley that doesn't seem like it should exist, considering that the landscape doesn't appear anywhere near the town, and is filled with fantastic buildings carrying a seasonal charm to them. You've been guided here by an enigmatic munchkin black cat going by Roil, full name Veins Roiling, or maybe you're a monster that just found yourself here.
You know that everyone around you should be tearing each other apart, but for some reason, anyone who passes from the woods into this area seems to lose that violent instinct. People are behaving each other.
When the sun rises, you know this will all go away, and you'll be in danger, so you have a time limit to enjoy as much as you want. Go, have fun. Make mistakes. Maybe find yourself somewhere you don't want to be if that's your thing...
You could also just have a good time. The dead like to rise out of their coffins around these woods for a reason, after all.
I wanted to do a lighter theme this year since 2025 has been hard on everyone... myself included, it's definitely been a struggle at times. So, no overarching threat to have to worry about! Make this one a chill time if you want! Get absolutely fucked over because you wanted to prod somewhere or something you shouldn't have! Use this as an opportunity to kiss werebears or get stuffed with a fuckton of candy by ghosts! :3
Are you going to be finishing all of these by the end of October? This seems like a lot of work!
Admittedly, no, I think I would die! That, and the long-form and host openings require a bit more time to feasibly do with the time I'm giving people to come up with ideas! I also plan on taking a break for a week at the end of the month in order to celebrate my birthday, so just from sheer time crunch it's not gonna happen.
I can promise one thing: The one-pagers will be done by the end of October. The rest will be done as I'm able to do them.
With that in mind, I would like to state that BCP 2025 will most likely be my last opening for the year, barring emergency openings. If you had anything you wanted to get from me before 2026 that you think could work within the context of this event, now's your chance.
There's still a few prompts that still haven't gone up yet from BCP 2024, are those still coming?
Mmmhmm! BCP 2024 was a fall and winter combo theme and thus there's still a few stories that need to come out in November and December along with some stories that need more polish. Have no fear, I'll be finishing those before the end of the year! You'll actually be seeing some of them, prepped and edited and ready to go, being posted in conjunction with BCP 2025's entries!
That's about it, I'm real excited to see where all y'all's minds go with this one, this opening is always a highlight of my year. I like being able to experiment and bring new things to the table, I always learn new things about what y'all want when I do, so hopefully this variety bag of treats is enticing to your appetite. Enjoy, party, celebrate with me.
We're going to make Halloween last the rest of the year. :3

Long forms closed!

I'm gonna be buckling down and getting as much as I can done before October hits, keep watching this space for more updates!

Final long-form story comms before BCP 2025 are now open!
General | Posted 5 months agoAlright, I'm going to be opening up for two more slots for long-form storm commission before BCP 2025 kicks off!
As a reminder of what this is, these are just story commissions of any size (although, to be honest, if you're asking me right now for anything over thirty pages you might be waiting for a hot minute). Twelve point font, Times New Roman, pages counted on single spacing before being double spaced for ease of reading. Pages themselves are at $13 a page and average out to 800 words per page.
Black Cat's Path is going to be carrying that spooky/fall tint to it with everything I work on, so if you don't want something involving that, the time to jump in on something is now!
This offer lasts until midnight on the 19th, so you've got about eight days not counting today to get your forms in, I'll be choosing then! Go ahead and get stuff together and then toss your ideas my way! <3

So, what do y'all wanna see comms-wise?
General | Posted 5 months agoI got a little bit of time before a really big opening and those one-pages are gonna get demolished over the next few days...
If I'm to open up again in the interim, what would you all wanna see from me as a writer that you'd wanna comm? What would you be interested in?

BCP 2024 stories are going up!
General | Posted 5 months agoALRIGHT, thank you all for your patience! IT'S FINALLY HERE, THE BEST HALF OF THE YEAR, IT'S FUCKING FALL
With Fall comes the arrival of stories of a macabre and devious nature, carefully crafted since the beginning of the year. The projector is spinning, starting to come to life. Footage that Sidney Sicourt has collected, along with footage of a more esoteric nature, has been spliced together. Black Cat's Path 2024 is being premiered.
Now, thanks to how last year's theme debuted in the winter and was split between winter and fall holidays, posting this year will be a little bit different! There's a couple of these stories that are actually more focused on November and December (there's a gatdamn Santa TF in here, you KNOW I gotta post that around Christmas!) so accordingly this will be split up to help preserve the theme. You're actually going to see some overlap between Black Cat's Path 2024 and 2025 in posting schedule this year.
Until I hit those more wintry stories, though, BCP 2024's stories are going up at a (hopeful) rate of one per day at 3 PM EST. Hope y'all enjoy, there's some VERY fun ones this time around. As a preview, among the many of them there's a spider just absolutely glutting herself on some moviegoers, some very fucked up and mean vampire M/M, someone getting sculpted into a horrible imp, big tiddy chess pieces, and The Midnight Hour.
Also my cat ass gets fucked by vines and I get treefed. You'll see. :3c
That's that. Y'all enjoy, there's a good couple hundred or so pages spread through what I've done for this year so you're in for some treats with your tricks.

Megaplex in two weeks, another long-form comm opening!
General | Posted 6 months agoWe are schmoovin' through these long-form comms while Megaplex draws closer with one piece left on the plate, so guess what?
That's right. More long-form openings. Come get stories at $13 a page. These slots will stay open until the end of the 23rd. Be ready to pay when you receive your finished work.
Click here for commissioning long-forms. Shabadoo it.
Short single-page stories are also available if you're eager for a cheaper, more focused way to have fun at $11 a page! You can find those over here!

One-page shorts open! Come get some bite-sized smut
General | Posted 6 months agoSurprise! I've decided that, while I've filled up on slots for the moment, I'd like to prep for when I'm doing this final opening with work for the meanwhile. Accordingly, before we enter into... well, you know... I'm going to be trying out a new experimental concept with y'all ahead of schedule.
What is it? Well, I've been practicing to try and get my writing length down a bit with the help of
Limewah's writing server. You should go check it out if you write yourself, contact them and ask for details! I think I've gotten to the point where I can put that practice to good use. In this case, that means going back to something I've done in the past, captions, sans the requirement for a picture. We're doing one-page short stories here.
You might be asking yourself how much you can get out of me in a single page, and the answer to that is you can get something honed, focused down, really fixated on a single moment or mood. Let's take an example kink of... say... muscle growth. We could focus on the finishing moment when all that change finishes up and the story's subject wants to really test out that strength on something, or the sheer bewildering excitement and pleasure of watching themselves swelling out with new mass, or the sorta mental brutification of all that muscle pulling your character forwards into a huge dull lug. The idea is a sorta "snapshot" hitting what you'd find most sexy to think about.
Accordingly, with this focus, I will also be offering a focused price. You'll be getting on average 800 words for $11 USD. I price my pages on the basis of a single-spaced page in OpenOffice Word, Times New Roman, size 12 lettering.
You are allowed to go for multiple submissions to this, but the goal is more to provide you a smorgasbord of kink fun rather than a build-your-own-story, that's what the long-forms and prompts are for! I am willing to turn this into a caption as well in the way those prompts functioned. If you'd like this to be one, please add the picture you want captioned and we'll work around that. Please also note that TF and weight gain sequences and comics will be truncated.
So, why I’m doing this right now is to continue padding out my wallet for Megaplex (and HHN beyond that). Single page scenes like this will be helpful for managing my flow with Saturdays given over to burning through owed work. I may or may not complete all of this work before the con, we'll have to see, but I can see myself banging these out pretty fast when I have the inspiration. Of course, you are still absolutely entitled to edits and additions to make this feel exactly right, I'm still looking to provide quality here.
Transparency allowed, this has been available for a couple days on my Telegram channel! Please do sign up for it if you wanna catch these opportunities off the bat, FA going down for a few months a while back made it clear to me that I need to keep on making sure I have other ways to reach people!
Do note, also, that this will most likely not be my last comm opening before Megaplex at the end of the month. I am burning rubber over here, and will most likely also be dipping into taking a feeeew more post-Megaplex to ready up for HHN.
Form's open now, come try this idea out with me.

BCP Update: Nearly At Single Digits, Longform Comms Open!
General | Posted 7 months agoHey y’all, still on my internet sabbatical, but I wanted to reach out and give y’all good news! We’re about to hit single digits on BCP stories, with only ten left as of today! Hell yeah, it’s looking like these’ll be posted during the Fall season!
I’m going to be juggling my time over the next few months to allow for getting these, YCHs, and other owed work finished. As part of this, though, I need to open for some longform commissions in order to prep for Megaplex.
If you need a reminder of what longform commissions are, these are regular-ass writing commissions, what you think of when you're grabbing a story from someone. You give me an idea and page count of what you want, and I write it for you.
My rates are $13 USD per page, with an average of 800 words per page. If you are comming me for the first time, you pay at the halfway mark. Read my ToS for what I can and can't do for you, come up with an idea, and
The name of the game here is keeping these to short openings in order to keep room clear for finishing other work. Ergo, you have until Tuesday to get a form in, at which point I will be choosing ideas to fill two slots. I may pick to fill one of those slots earlier depending on if I vibe hard enough with an idea. I'm looking to keep delivery on this pretty tight, please be ready to pay when you receive your finished story, I need to get reg money together like now. Do not worry if you aren't picked, I plan to re-up repeatedly on slot openings until...
Well, we're past the 4th of July. You know what's up.
Anyways, slots are open as soon as you see this! Come check it out!
EDIT: We're closed over here! People that have been picked will be contacted soon!

BCP 2025 Thoughts!
General | Posted 9 months agoWith fourteen prompts left and us being past Halfway to Halloween, I think we should talk about what BCP 2025 is looking like in my head.
I'd like to mix things up a bit this year, as I've continued doing with these. This is still incredibly liable to change. You might actually see some of these potential options get dropped depending on interest and if I have the stamina to go through them. You might just see me say "long forms only, all Halloweens, Final Destination." I'm impulsive as balls, y'alls.
So, tentatively (and this number might also drop), I'd like to do another 31 slot split. It's seasonal, it makes sense! I'd just also like to mingle more things than prompts in here. Prompts are fun as hell, it's fun to work with them, but I need to be nice to me too so I have to give them (mostly) a break.
We'll still have them, though, if nothing changes. Ten prompts. They're fun and thematic! I like doing them!
I just also wanna branch out a little bit... and I don't think you're gonna mind what I'm branching out into. We'll also be opening for ten long-form commissions! Long-forms are what your typical story commission looks like when you think of getting a story commission, as a reminder. I write you a story and you pay per page.
There'll also be what I'm calling "template stories". There'll be five slots of these. Essentially, these template stories will follow the same format with a transformation focus.
Sounds like a YCH? Important distinctions here! I don't wanna open for YCHs when I already owe people and am fulfilling those. It feels wrong to me. Ergo... these will not be pay-upfront like a YCH. These will be pay on satisfaction like the prompts and long-forms. YCHs also tend to be pretty flexible in terms of story elements, whereas here we'll be focused on TF with a particular trigger and these'll be grounded in the event itself. Think of these more as the midpoint between a prompt and a long-form. Fixed price, fixed elements, fixed start, freedom past that. As you can see, there's a lot here that I'm playing around with, so out of these I'd say this is the format that's most likely to see changes before BCP 2025 goes live.
So, what's left here? Another experimental option. Cashmere's been running a writing group with weekly creative prompts that's been helping me hone more focused bite-sized pieces... and y'know, maybe we can try providing the fruits of my training to y'all too. I'm considering providing six slots of short, short ass single page pieces. These would be average 800 - 900 words. Snippets. Flashes of horny. Limited as much as I can. You can maybe call them word sketches? It's something to try!
These'll all fall under a new theme for the year along with a new focal character (hint hint on the template stories lmao) . Less story driven, though there'll be an intro and outro for this one as well. One of the main problems I bumped into in terms of The Camera's Eye, last year's BCP, was that the overarching storyline didn't really give y'all a space to play around in as much as I'd hope. I'd like to fix that!
I'll keep thinking on this while I keep on getting BCP 2024 raring to go, y'all enjoy the lead-up. There's a party around the corner.
Who could ask for more?
Everybody's coming, leave your body at the door.

Update on Black Cat's Path/Question for Future Prompts!
General | Posted 11 months agoHey hey, y'all! We've officially completed prompt ten of thirty four, and as you can guess,.. yeah, I'm putting my whole pussy into this work.
I'm sure many of y'all have noticed a phenomenon I like to refer to as being unable to drive 55. You people have fucking good ideas... and I'm unwilling to let an idea be unfinished. I'll keep going and going on it... and I think with that in mind it might be time to attempt rejiggering the amount of work that these prompts constitute as a baseline. I think that, at the very least, it might be more realistic to have these prompts at five pages now when I open for them next time!
With that in mind, I'd also be raising the prices to $60. Still a discount from what it'd be priced at just as a regular commission. What do you all think? Would this be a good idea, or should I stick with what I've got?

General | Posted a year agoAs a heads up, all current forms have been processed and there's still a couple slots open, seven actually! I'll be posting up an updated version of the prompt list tomorrow showcasing what's left.
Some of the more untouched prompts are being retooled in a way that might be more accommodating for kink ideas, so there will be new prompts on here! If you haven't jumped in yet, or have only got one or two prompts and want in on more, check a look at my page on FA around 3 PM EST!

What's Going On With Hypnovember (Read: It's Postponed)
General | Posted a year agoSo, uhh... November 20th, right? 😩
Time management is not my best skill. Hypnovember is probably happening in early 2025, apologies. I still fully intend on opening for them, there's a few prompt lists out there I'd love to do, it's just gonna take me a while to get there. Also, I really need to be a bit sane with what I'm doing in regards to owed work. People be waiting for stuff and I've got to keep mindful about that.
