General Update and Stuffs :0c
Posted 7 years agoJust wanted to post a general update thingie cause why not <:3
I need to post more journals <V
But anyway, first, I've decided to try out an "updated" icon, a.k.a., the same icon as before except with a slightly updated ChowderYoshi design. I hope it looks fine!
Second, some of you may be thinking that since I made the icon, I must have my laptop back and repaired. Sadly, that's not the case, it's still at the place being worked on. I'm only able to work on art right now on my first, old laptop (which literally can't survive for minutes off of the charging cord since the battery is dead). I thought at first that I wouldn't use it to do art and just wait, but since it's Thanksgiving break here for a few ore days I'll try and get some art done and posted. However due to the older screen and different layout and color of things, I probably will just work on some smaller new things and wait on some current projects, like that Gregg weight gain comic I mentioned. I hope that's fine!
Thirdly, just some video game stuffs, but I finished Deltarune two days ago! I was originally gonna wait to complete it when I got my laptop back, but the threat of spoilers were too high so I just downloaded it and played it on the old laptop. It was a good, interesting art ^^
I'm also trying to complete the Spyro trilogy before I might lose access to my brother's PS4. I've already fully completed Spyro 1, so I'm on a good track nwn
Otherwise not sure what else to say, besides that I'm ready to be done with this college semester and that I'm crazy excited for Smash Ultimate (ahhhhh the Kass theme for the game is KILLER)! XD

Laptop Update
Posted 7 years agoWell, I've put it in for repairs now, and I have a loaner laptop I'm able to use until I get mine back :V
I'll have to figure out what I can do with it, so it might end up being a while before I can do anymore digital art >w<
I'll still probably draw more though, so I'll have some other things I can add to my "What should I digitize next" pile <xD

Posted 7 years agoLucky me, some water happened to get behind my Mac screen because of an accident I could never have seen coming, and now the LCD is messed up...
All this after a hype Smash Direct and a pretty good day, ugh...
Thankfully, I should have AppleCare+ on it, so hopefully I can get it fixed, and then forever keep my laptop stuffed in plastic bags whenever in my backpack from now on >n<

Posted 7 years agoIn the past two days I've already gotten two different notes from anichkai accounts that are basically sending suspicious links that seem to go to a fu** site of some kind :/
I blocked a first anichkai account when I read the note, but a different account of the same name with different numbers sent another today.
I blocked them again, but now I'm just annoyed at the possibility of there being more anichkai accounts :/
But yeah, everyone, just block those accounts if they send you the notes, and hopefully something will be done about these bot accounts soon :/

Last night, we saw Incredibles 2 to celebrate my Birthday, and I must say, I loved the movie! I fully recommend it to anyone who loved the first Incredibles :3

IMPORTANT - Regarding Life, Requests, Possible Commissions

First off, yes, my first year of college is officially over, and I'm back home!
Glad to be back with my puppos and family ^^
This summer vacation will also mark my first Summer with a job, which in all honesty is making me a bit nervous >w<;
Wish me luck on that front, as I hope that, when I do get a job, it isn't too bleh on me!
~Request Updates~
Rereading my last journal, I originally said that I probably wouldn't get to requests until next week or later. That was kind of an overstatement on my part, haha, probably should've thought that out more ^^;

Basically, my Dad has encouraged me to start doing things with my art to make money. And while it all makes me nervous, it's something that's going to need to happen eventually, in some way, shape or form. So, sometime this summer, I'm going to probably open up my first commissions!
... but while I do have some ideas about Commission stuff, the whole Commissions thing is new to me, and there are many things I don't know. What would my prices be? How exactly should I go about it? Is my art even worthy of being commissioned?
So, as this whole topic is new to me, and is making me nervous, I would be really appreciative if I could get some help from some of you guys, and if I could hear your opinions! What do you all think about this?

Cancelling and Postponing Requests for now(they will return)
Posted 7 years agoI know it's been forever since I opened requests and I know some of you have probably been waiting, but yes, I'm cancelling and postponing Requests for now.
What does this mean, and why though, you may be asking.
Well, for one, I personally waited way too long to actually pick something from the requests journal, and now, I'm not really feeling any of the requests over any of the others (aka I'm currently just indecisive). I said I would choose sometime soon after I posted the previous request, and here we are now, about a month later. Sorry about that >w<;;
When I next open requests back up, I'll make sure to give myself a time limit!
Second, this college semester of mine is ending next week, which is Finals week (some test stress is ahead for me)! Aka, my first year of college will be done. Whoooooo! And I certaintly won't be able to pick a request then, or after that week, as I'll be settling in back home. I want to wait to reopen requests until I feel comfortable with things going on. Hopefully for you guys that won't be too long! <:3
And third, I do want to try to get to some more personal art of mine that isn't from requests or etc. We'll see though!

I'll continue to make art for as long as I can, everyone, so continue to look forward to lots more art from me ^w^
Also, to commemorate this occasion, I think I'll draw up something, so stay tuned for that!

Some Bad News
Posted 8 years agoWell, my Dad said he got the new screen for my broken Surface 3.
Sadly though, the new screen just won't go on my Surface, as there's some kind of short, and when my Dad tried plugging in the screen the cable or whatever, it got fried.
Sooooooo it still might be awhile until you guys can see more "frequent" art :(
I do believe I have another thing at home that I could use to do digital art with a pen, but the thing is, I don't like it at all. I'll try to learn how to use it better and how to cope with it, though!
Sorry again for all this trouble guys, and thanks for reading!

(Bad News...) Expect Art to come out slow........
Posted 8 years agoShort story short, my Surface 3 cracked, and now the whole Touch screen doesn't work... I've been digitizing my art pieces for months on months with it... we're seeing if it could be repaired, but something tells me that won't happen...
I can still use my computer I suppose to digitize, but it's just not the same as using my pen right on the Surface... so expect art to come out from me even slower, everyone...

After seeing all the ideas come in, I kinda got inspired, and well, instead of ONE fur, I chose THREE lucky furs ^^
Those three are:

vicreshay
maniacal-metalhead
Congrats! All three of the requests are already in the works! ^^
... HOWEVER, I don't know how soon I'll complete them all, especially since there are some other artworks I would also like to finish soon! Plus, I do want to release the rest of Scarred <:3
So here, for the requestees, I'm putting down some info on the status and progress of their request ^^
Ken: The sketch I believe is pretty much done! So I really just have to digitalize and color it now x3
Vicre: For you, I'm actually making your request a sequence of images :D

(Recommendations) I Wanna Draw Some Well Known Characters :3
Posted 8 years agoIt's as the title says, I wanna draw some more well known characters! Y'know, like anthropomorphic and/or animal characters from tv shows, cartoons, video games, etc.!
I labeled this journal as "Recommendations" because I wanna hear what characters you guys wanna see me draw :)
(Also, yes, I've picked a person from the request journal and are working on their request, I won't say who though <:3)
I already have sketches of some well known characters I want to digitize eventually, but I want to get more ideas from you all of other characters to draw ^^

BASICALLY, comment below what character, or characters, you want to see me draw! Each person can share a total of TWO characters.

Final note, even if someone has already shared a character you were planning to share, go ahead and share them again if you want! Seeing multiple people recommend a character miiight make me want to draw them more ^^
I labeled this journal as "Recommendations" because I wanna hear what characters you guys wanna see me draw :)
(Also, yes, I've picked a person from the request journal and are working on their request, I won't say who though <:3)
I already have sketches of some well known characters I want to digitize eventually, but I want to get more ideas from you all of other characters to draw ^^

Posted 8 years agoAnd now, for a little update! Can't remember if I've said so on another journal or artwork, but I'm now in college! About 4 weeks in, too :3
Had a pretty rough first 2 weeks, however xwx
My college has Thursdays listed as R on our schedules (which is veeery stupid >w<), and two of my classes were listed as TR on my schedule (Tuesday's and Thursdays). Since I had a T (Tuesday) class, I just assumed at first that TR meant Thursday, and I ended up missing two classes on Tuesday my first week =x=
I was able to recover, but ugh, that sucked <:3
I'm getting more used to things though! Trying to do art a bit more than usual as well, but I need to focus on college work first, so who knows how things'll go. >wo

Well, I was really into the last request, and I think college so far might have given me a boost to get more work in, so here we are!
Basically, the rules for requesting this time around:
As per usual, comment your request idea in the comments below, or send me a note with your request idea. PLEASE send me any neccassary refs to go along with your request, so I won't have to ask you later about characters and etc.
NOTE, I will personally be picking out only ONE request from all the request ideas submitted! If you aren't picked, don't worry, there's always next time ;3
Unlike other times, I WILL NOT BE REPLYING TO COMMENTS OR NOTES WITH REQUEST IDEAS. However, I'll still reply for two exceptions: one, if I need to ask for refs from you, or two, if your idea is just something I won't do (if that is the case, you can pitch another idea).
So yeah, if I don't reply to your comment/note, that means your idea has a chance of getting picked!
That being said, I think that's good! Happy requesting everyone ^^
